Leader Highlights Divine Guidance and Moral Resolve in Confronting Tyranny

The leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, delivered key lessons from the story of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him), stressing the importance of divine preparation, trust in Allah’s promises, the use of gentle speech in delivering proofs, and the role of perseverance and remembrance in achieving victory and confronting tyranny.

The leader summarized Moses’ journey from Midian back to Egypt, highlighting the divine guidance and support he received throughout his life, from his childhood to the challenges following the killing incident, his migration, and preparation for his prophetic mission. He emphasized that every stage was part of Allah ’s meticulous plan, strengthening Moses to face trials, risks, and hardships with resilience.

He elaborated that Moses’ preparation in Midian was part of Allah ’s deliberate planning: the period he spent there was designed to develop him for the responsibilities of his mission, ensuring he would be fully ready to fulfill his role with divine support and guidance.

The leader underlined that the prophets’ path of spiritual, moral, and human perfection is continuous until death and the meeting with Allah. Addressing Allah’s command to Moses and Aaron to confront Pharaoh with signs and gentleness, the leader highlighted the importance of delivering proofs without harshness, allowing space for reflection and fear of divine accountability.

He stressed that fear is a natural human emotion, and Allah provides means to overcome it, citing Moses’ reaction to the miracles of the staff and his hand as examples of divine support and psychological preparation.

The leader also examined the nature of miracles as divine proof, their role in distinguishing truth from falsehood, and their connection to the inherent clarity and strength of divine truth. The leader pointed out that Pharaoh’s inner circle represented the supportive agents of tyranny, while divine guidance equips the chosen to confront oppression and establish justice.

Sayyed Abdulmalik concluded with reflections on the continuous support Allah provides to believers, including prophets and faithful fighters, ensuring their mission succeeds when pursued with patience, trust, and adherence to divine guidance.

The leader invoked Quranic assurances that Allah strengthens the righteous, makes the few victorious over the many, and supports those who strive for justice and faith.

This lecture comes amid ongoing regional tensions and highlights the spiritual and strategic lessons drawn from prophetic history for believers navigating challenges in the modern era.

By emphasizing divine trust, careful preparation, and moral conduct in confronting tyranny, the leader draws parallels between historical prophetic missions and the ongoing responsibilities of communities resisting oppression, including threats posed by the Israeli enemy and other aggressors in the region.
