Leader of Revolution calls on Saudi regime to reconsider its actions, cease its hostility towards Yemeni People
The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, called on the Saudi regime to reconsider its actions, cease its hostility towards the Yemeni people, abandon its aggressive approach towards Yemen, and adopt the principle of good neighborliness.
In his speech today on the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness 2026, the Leader said, “The Saudi regime must cease its hostility towards the Yemeni people and free itself from its ties to the American and Israeli agendas. It should leave the enemies to confront the Yemeni people instead of burdening itself with the heavy responsibilities of this hostility, which cannot achieve its goal of completely controlling the Yemeni people and confiscating their freedom and dignity—that is utterly impossible.”
He added, “The Yemeni people rely on Allah, possess deep historical roots, and hold fast to the principles and values that make them steadfast and resilient, refusing oppression, humiliation, and enslavement to anyone but Allah.” He advised the Saudi regime to allow the confrontation to be directly between the Yemeni people and the Americans and Israelis, thus sparing itself the consequences of an unnecessary war waged to protect its security, as happened in the recent rounds of fighting.
He reiterated that Yemen’s stance against the Zionist scheme, against the enemies of Muslims and all of humanity, and against the American-Israeli aggression aimed at implementing the Zionist plan targeting the entire nation, falls within the framework of jihad in the path of Allah.
He declared that Yemen will not hesitate to fulfill its duty against the tyrants of our time—the Jews, the Zionists, and their American arm—adding, “I declare that we will never hesitate to perform our Islamic duty of jihad in the path of Allah Almighty against the tyrants of our time—the Jews, the Zionists, and their American arm. Any developments in the battle that necessitate a military response will be met with complete trust in Allah and reliance upon Him, as in previous rounds.”
He added, “Our position is clear and unequivocal against America.” “We harbor no aggressive intentions against any Muslim country,” he declared, calling on all Islamic nations to unite in putting an end to Zionist aggression and American tyranny targeting the entire Muslim world.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi began his speech by discussing the significant implications of the National Day of Steadfastness, emphasizing the suffering of the Yemeni people, which he described as one of the greatest injustices on earth.
He stated, “Today, the National Day of Steadfastness, marks the eleventh year since the start of the American-Saudi aggression against Yemen. On this National Day of Steadfastness, we thank Allah for His immense blessings upon us as the Yemeni people, granting us victory, success, and steadfastness.”
He added, “The oppression of our people continues and encompasses all aspects of life. The American-Saudi aggression against our people is inherently unjust, illegitimate, and criminal, possessing not an iota of legitimacy.”
He continued, “It is divine guidance that has enabled us, as the Yemeni people, to persevere and take the righteous, wise, and mature stance.” The leader described the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness as a responsible stance, considering it of great importance and significance.
He continued, “The first thing this occasion means to us is glorifying the righteous stance of our dear people in their steadfastness and resilience in the face of the unjust and brutal aggression of the American-Saudi coalition.” He explained that the option of steadfastness remains the correct and fitting position for the Yemeni people, and it deserves all the sacrifices, efforts, immense contributions, and patience they have shown.
The leader clarified that when the coalition launched its aggression against the Yemeni people, they faced two choices: surrender or steadfastness. The option of surrender is a catastrophic one, given its horrific consequences for a people who choose it, resulting in the loss of freedom and dignity and the forfeiture of all legitimate rights.
He said, “Our dear people faced aggression from the forces of tyranny, arrogance, darkness, and oppression, and their choice to confront it was the right one.” He emphasized that the Americans played a fundamental role in overseeing the aggression through regional and local tools of treachery and hypocrisy.
He added, “Speaking of steadfastness, contributing The greatest and foremost example of steadfastness is the martyrs, may Allah be pleased with them, their grieving families, the wounded, those stationed on the front lines, and their families. When speaking of steadfastness, we must also remember those who contributed in every field through giving, effort, work, and spending in the cause of Allah.
He pointed out that various cultural, educational, military, security, charitable, economic, political, and media efforts have yielded steadfastness, resilience, and cohesion. Contributions to all aspects of steadfastness and resilience came from all segments of the Yemeni people, men and women alike.
Mr. Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi praised the contributions of Yemeni women, who have made tremendous efforts and great sacrifices. He stressed the importance of giving significant attention to all contributions to steadfastness in education and media, as this is a valuable legacy and an enduring heritage for future generations.
He said, “Our people’s contributions are inspiring and magnificent, deserving of being immortalized through writing, history, media, educational, and cultural activities. Our people’s contributions and sacrifices are a very important, beneficial, and enriching school of thought, full of lessons and wisdom.”
He considered The primary significance of National Steadfastness Day lies in the profound and momentous stance of the Yemeni people, a stance divinely guided, and in the value of this position in the scales of truth, its fruits, and its important outcomes.
He spoke of the immense moral value of steadfastness in the face of injustice, a crucial and profound principle that must be firmly established in our hearts, cultures, minds, and public opinion. This is essential to counter the campaigns waged by the enemies of the Islamic nation—the Zionist Jews and their mouthpieces—who seek to subdue and indoctrinate it with the option of surrender.
He explained that the enemies of the nation strive to instill a spirit of defeatism within it. Regrettably, the official Arab stance and much of the Islamic world are employing all their resources to facilitate the subjugation of our people to the Zionist Jews and their Zionist proxies.
He added, “In the arena of battle and conflict between Muslims and the Zionist Jews and their lackeys, there is a battle between the principle of steadfastness and surrender to the tyrants of our time. One of the most heinous betrayals, the greatest injustice, and the most atrocious crimes is the subjugation of our nation’s people to America and Israel. This is a grave betrayal and a terrible injustice to our people.”
He continued, “The subjugation of the nation’s people to America and Israel will result in numerous and horrific disasters, all of which are characterized by loss in this world and the hereafter.”
The leader addressed the objective of the aggression against our country: to subjugate it to America and Israel, to strip it of its decision-making power, sovereignty, and independence, to deprive it of its resources, to occupy its land, and to force it to serve the occupiers and their regional proxies. He emphasized that the criminal practices of the aggression against our country testify to its true nature and objectives.
He presented a comprehensive summary of the number of martyrs and wounded, and the destruction inflicted upon the country’s resources as a result of the American, Saudi, and Emirati aggression. He explained that the aggression coalition has caused the martyrdom and injury of approximately 60,000 Yemeni men and women, and that more than 1.4 million civilians have died as a direct result of the blockade imposed on our country and the spread of chronic diseases and malnutrition.
He pointed out that the aggression destroyed more than 670 health facilities and ambulances, and nearly 2,900 educational institutions, including schools, universities, institutes, and education offices, asking, “Is this considered benevolent behavior towards the Yemeni people?”
He continued, “The aggression destroyed more than 5,600 power grids and stations, nearly 2,200 communications sites and facilities, and more than 930 fuel and gas stations and tankers. It also destroyed 14 ports with their facilities and contents, 9 airports and their facilities, including navigation and air traffic control systems, and four civilian aircraft.”
The leader of the revolution stated that the aggression destroyed more than 15,000 food facilities, including factories, shops, markets, and food warehouses, and caused the destruction of more than 19,400 agricultural and livestock facilities, including farms, markets, cooperatives, and barns.
He confirmed that the aggression coalition killed more than 450,000 head of livestock, more than 43,000 beehives, and 90 purebred Arabian horses. It also destroyed more than 12,400 water facilities, including dams, water reservoirs, wells, solar power plants, drilling rigs, and irrigation canals, and destroyed more than 4,700 fishing boats and fish landing centers.
He added that the aggression coalition destroyed 86 media institutions, a radio transmission center, and 48 judicial complexes and courthouses, directly targeting judges for assassination. It also destroyed more than 1,840 mosques, even the most sacred houses of worship, and this number of mosques were not spared from its attacks. The enormity.
He pointed out that the aggression coalition destroyed more than 90 cemeteries, an incomprehensible act that reflects the level of aggression, savagery, and criminality. It comprehensively targeted all aspects of life in our country, destroying 136 sports facilities and more than 8,000 roads and bridges.
He explained that the aggression coalition destroyed more than 2,200 government and service buildings, including social welfare centers and facilities for people with disabilities. Among the most egregious crimes was the attack on the home for the blind in the capital, Sana’a, one of the coalition’s most blatant and heinous acts. It also destroyed more than 8,500 vehicles and means of transportation, and more than 420 archaeological and historical sites, making them prime targets for airstrikes. Furthermore, it destroyed more than 360 tourist facilities.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi noted that the aggression coalition launched more than 2,960 cluster bomb attacks on most districts in Yemen, and the damage and dangers continue to this day. He emphasized that the Saudi regime continues to kill Yemeni citizens daily in various areas. The border areas are being targeted, either through artillery shelling or directly from close range.
He said, “The Saudi regime is killing expatriates in cold blood and with excessive brutality. Numerous videos have been published documenting such crimes. On the economic level, the aggression coalition has committed a major crime against our country by plundering our oil wealth.”
He added, “Salaries and basic services were heavily reliant on oil revenues. What remains is a mere pittance after foreign companies and influential figures in the previous regime looted a large share. Our people have been completely deprived of this oil wealth, despite Yemen ranking 27th globally in oil reserves, and the actual figure is likely much higher. There is significant deception even regarding the actual figures for Yemen’s oil reserves by foreign companies.”
He continued, “Our country’s oil production had reached nearly half a million barrels per day, but the people do not benefit from this wealth at all. The direct and indirect losses to the Yemeni oil sector since the beginning of the aggression, as a preliminary estimate, have exceeded $57 billion.”
The leader emphasized that it is a great injustice to the Yemeni people to be deprived of His national wealth, which would cover all salaries and basic services of all kinds, was the source of Yemen’s suffering, created by the aggression coalition through its deprivation of the country’s oil wealth, which belongs to the people, coupled with a suffocating economic blockade and various economic conspiracies.
He said, “Among the damages inflicted on oil facilities is Yemen’s loss of revenue from 90 million barrels of oil annually due to the production halt caused by the aggression.” He emphasized that the aggression coalition owes Yemen significant sums for generations to come, given the projects it has disrupted, sabotaged, and destroyed.
He added, “The issue of salaries and the suffering of employees and their families is but one detail of the crimes committed by the American-Saudi aggression coalition against our country, crimes that continue despite the de-escalation seen in recent years.”
He pointed out that the aggression coalition directly occupies a large area of the country and continues its blockade, depriving the Yemeni people of their national wealth. He affirmed that the aggression coalition insists on targeting our country’s independence, and that the Saudi regime’s problem is its hatred for this people, which has led it to adopt a negative and aggressive policy towards them for decades.
He continued, “For decades, we have not known who…” “The time period is any stage in which Saudi policy towards Yemen and the Yemeni people changed on a positive basis, and even with the previous regime’s subservience in its relationship with the Saudi regime and its concessions, the Saudi approach towards Yemen remained negative.”
He continued, “What exacerbated the problem even further was the Saudi regime’s alignment with the American and Israeli agenda toward the peoples of the region, especially Yemen. This alignment has made the Saudi role extremely detrimental to our people and our country, and this is clearly reflected in its insistence on continuing the aggression.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that Britain still plays a significant role, alongside the Americans and Israelis, regarding the Yemeni issue. He added that the aggression coalition, led by America and its regional proxies, represented by Saudi Arabia, is determined to control Yemen’s political decision-making.
He said, “They want to control the administration of our people’s affairs. The Saudis, under American supervision and with British participation, and behind them the Israelis, appoint presidents, just as they do with their mercenaries. What they are doing to the traitors among our people, they want to make the norm throughout Yemen.”
He added, “They want to appoint presidents, ministers, and officials, and completely control the army in a way that serves America, Israel, and Britain. They want to control our country in all aspects of political, cultural, social, and economic life in a way that serves their interests. Those who act in the name of presidents and officials are merely subservient to the ambassadors of America, Britain, and Saudi Arabia.”
He continued, “They want to manage our country in a way that brings destruction and harm to our people, weakening them through endless conflicts and crises. They insist on controlling Yemen’s wealth and depriving our people of it, and what little remains goes to the corrupt traitors who serve them.”
He went on to say, “They want to control our country’s economy in general to keep our people subservient, impoverished, and dependent, unable to rise up, achieve self-sufficiency, or become a productive nation.”
He added, “We are in a de-escalation phase, and the aggressive intentions of the Americans, British, Israelis, and Saudis are clear. Saudi Arabia has not shown us any genuine or serious commitment to peace, otherwise, the path is open and available.”
The leader affirmed that the Saudis are involved in conspiring against our country with the Americans, Israelis, and British, including intelligence activities such as forming cells and recruiting spies. He stated that they primarily collaborate with the British on spying operations against Yemen, and their involvement with the Israelis is sometimes evident.
He said, “It is certain that the information they gather is provided to the Americans and Israelis. Information from the joint Saudi-British cells has been used to target us by the American and Israeli enemy.”
He pointed out that “there are ongoing attempts to corrupt consciences, buy loyalties, and infiltrate the home front,” emphasizing that the Saudis consider people commodities that can be bought with money. This is how they view social, political, and military figures, as well as various members of our nation, its cadres, and its men.
He added, “Whoever sells their loyalty and principles, betraying their people, religion, and nation, is cheaper than the shoe that the Saudis can buy with money. A person who sells their righteous stance and betrays their homeland, people, and nation for the benefit of spiteful enemies in a false cause is a vile, treacherous, and despicable individual.”
He pointed out that the Saudis themselves are playing a role in the interests of the Americans, Israelis, and British, and that whoever serves them ultimately serves them. He added, “Our Yemeni Muslim people are a great people in their faith-based identity, as attested to by the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family (Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni).”
He continued, “The Saudis have absolutely no justification for adopting a hostile approach towards the Yemeni people. Even those traitors who have cheapened themselves and sold out their people, their religion, their homeland, their honor, their freedom, and their independence are not considered friends by the Saudis.”
The leader of the revolution reiterated that the Saudi regime sees traitors as mere tools to trample on the soil of the homeland in its confrontation with the free people of this nation. If the Saudis viewed traitors with respect, value, and dignity, they would not treat them as mere pawns without any authority.
He said, “Whoever claims to be allied with the Saudis is lying, because they treat them as mere pawns under their command, their orders, and their decisions, and under their boot. Whoever falls under Saudi control is also under American, Israeli, and British control.”
He clarified that the Saudi regime has a specific approach. He described the Saudi regime’s aggression as directed towards the free people of Yemen, who constitute the overwhelming majority, and towards the traitors who sell themselves out. He emphasized that the Saudi regime has no justification for its hostility towards the Yemeni people and could have maintained a positive, fraternal, and respectful relationship with them based on the principle of good neighborliness.
He added, “The Yemeni people have never initiated aggression against the Saudi regime, nor do they harbor any hostile intentions towards any Muslim people or country. The Yemeni people are a people of morals, values, principles, and a strong faith.” He pointed out that the problem with the Saudis lies in their negative and arrogant tendencies and their alignment with the American, British, and Israeli agendas regarding the peoples of the region.
He continued, “Saudi hostility towards our people cannot achieve its goal of completely controlling the Yemeni people and confiscating their freedom and dignity. This is utterly impossible. Our people rely on Allah, trust in Him, and have deep historical roots. They possess the principles and values that make them steadfast and resilient, refusing oppression, humiliation, and subjugation.”
He went on to say, “Instead…” Instead of burdening itself with such heavy and costly responsibilities in a conflict that ultimately fails to achieve a decisive outcome, the Saudi regime must abandon its hostile approach towards our people. If the Saudi regime were to abandon its aggression towards our dear people and adopt the principle of good neighborliness, it would be better for itself, our people, and the region.
He continued, “If the Saudi regime had allowed the Americans and Israelis to confront our people directly, as happened in the recent rounds of conflict with them, it would have spared itself the burden of this unnecessary hostility.”
He pointed out that the Saudi regime is not obligated to be hostile to Yemen and could have achieved security and stability without targeting our people with this aggressive approach. He emphasized that developments in the region over the past years clearly demonstrate that the Americans and Israelis are working to implement the Zionist plan targeting all countries in the region, under the guise of “changing the Middle East” and establishing “Greater Israel.”
The leader asked, “Since the enemy is targeting the entire region, what benefit do some regimes derive from cooperating with an enemy that targets even their own countries?” He emphasized that the losers among the nation’s people are those who serve the Zionist plan in every way, only to be targeted in the end.
He stated that sacrifices in confronting the Israeli enemy are justified, within the framework of a righteous and honorable stance, and are a necessity. He affirmed that confronting the enemy is essential for the nation, considering its human dignity, its Islamic identity, its legitimate rights, and its well-being in this life and the hereafter.
He said, “The enemy wants to eliminate first those they consider a real obstacle, so they can complete their plan confidently, knowing they will face no problems from others. These others represent no deterrent, no strength, no dignity, and no steadfastness in confronting them. The enemy has opened everything up to them, infiltrated them completely, and subjugated their people, armies, and institutions, making them easy prey.”
He pointed out that the Americans used to say about Saudi Arabia that it was a cash cow to be milked dry before being slaughtered. He emphasized that Yemen, in its dealings with the American-Saudi aggression alliance, has been keen to de-escalate and prioritize action against the Zionist scheme targeting the nation.
He added, “We have directly supported Gaza, and our position remains steadfast and consistent with the Palestinian people and with the axis of jihad and resistance against the Zionist scheme. Our people are distinguished by the deep-rootedness of their faith and possess a profound awareness that qualifies them for a prominent role in confronting the Zionist threat.”
He continued, “We are living through one of the most critical phases in the exposure of the Zionist scheme, and it is now being discussed openly and explicitly.” He emphasized that America is the second wing of Zionism, after Israel, which represents the first wing.
The leader of the revolution pointed out that there is a deliberate attempt by some Arab regimes to ignore and cover up the facts related to the Zionist scheme. He added that the American and Israeli statements about the Zionist plan are clear, and they are working to implement it to establish “Greater Israel.”
He said, “Despite official statements about the Zionist plan, the blindness, confusion, and delusion of some Arab regimes have reached unimaginable levels. When Americans, from Trump onward, and Zionist Jews declare that they are working to ‘change the Middle East,’ it means they are targeting every country in the region.”
He added, “We must understand that when they talk about changing the region, they are seeking to obliterate the Islamic character of the region, occupy it, and establish ‘Greater Israel.'” He pointed out that the enemies’ pursuit of establishing “Greater Israel” means treating the peoples of this region according to the Jewish belief in the Zionist Talmud, as mere animals and not human beings.
He explained that the enemies speak daily about “changing the Middle East” and establishing “Greater Israel,” yet some regimes in the region openly express their hostility towards those who oppose this scheme targeting the nation. He noted that some regimes, through their media outlets, continued to vilify the resistance fighters in the Gaza Strip even at the height of the Israeli enemy’s aggression, and there is a constant campaign of abuse against Hezbollah, holding it responsible for the actions of the Israeli enemy, despite its defensive stance.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that the Israeli enemy is acting according to its declared plan to control the region and occupy its lands, and then blames and rebukes those who oppose the project.
He said, “The whole world knows that the Americans and Israelis launched the initial aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran under the guise of ‘changing the Middle East,’ and committed all kinds of crimes against its people.” The Muslim people of Iran are under attack, an aggression that has no justification whatsoever.
He stated that the American-Israeli aggression against Iran has harmed the economic interests of the world’s nations and the security and stability of the entire region, adding, “The Americans and Israelis are indifferent to the consequences of their unjust and completely unwarranted criminal aggression against the Islamic Republic, and they are unconcerned about the damage inflicted on the global economy of various countries by this aggression against Iran.”
He continued, “The Americans and Israelis are only concerned with implementing their Zionist plan, without any regard for the economic interests of any country in the world, and they are trying to embroil others in their aggression against the Islamic Republic to serve a dangerous scheme against humanity.”
The Leader also emphasized that the enemies are trying to embroil European countries, and even Australia and China in general, attempting to drag them into their unjust position. It is very regrettable that countries or regimes in this region are becoming involved in serving the Americans and Israelis. He pointed out that some countries are using their money and media to serve their aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and all the blame and protest is directed at the Islamic Republic when it exercises its legitimate right to respond to attacks on American bases.
He explained that “from Those who blame the Islamic Republic are the very ones who wanted the Iranian people to surrender and remain subjugated, vulnerable to American attacks without resistance. There is no justification whatsoever for those who support the Americans with money, weapons, bases, and political and media backing. The involvement of regimes in our region in the aggression against Iran harms their own people and the entire region.
He reiterated that the Americans have turned Arab countries into war zones, making their primary function the protection of their bases and the burden of that protection. They have even turned Arab regimes into shields protecting the Israeli enemy, and are attempting to embroil them in offensive operations against Iran. The Americans continue to try to involve Arab countries in other wars and conflicts.
He stressed the necessity for everyone to be highly aware and insightful about the reality of what is happening, adding, “We must be aware and insightful about the reality of what is happening, that it is an American-Israeli attack to implement the Zionist plan targeting the entire region.”
The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that the humanitarian, moral, religious, and national responsibility lies in the unity of the nation and its unified stance against American and Israeli aggression, especially as the enemy continues to target and oppress the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as part of its broader targeting of the entire nation.
He stated, “Despite the oppression of the Lebanese people and the ongoing aggression against them, Hezbollah is being blamed by most regimes and the Lebanese government.” He asserted that the treacherous Lebanese Foreign Minister is not working for his country, but rather for his political faction, which is an agent of Israel and has a very egregious history of collaboration.
He praised the great steadfastness, cohesion, and continuous presence of the Iranian people on the battlefield, which has thwarted the enemies’ hopes. He explained that the official Iranian position and the great, heroic, and jihadist stance are encouraging for the resilience and cooperation among the nation’s people. Furthermore, the high and significant effectiveness of the Iranian position is a motivating factor and an encouragement for the nation’s people to persevere, remain steadfast, and place their hope in God’s victory.
He said, “Everyone should rally around the Iranian position at all levels and with all forms of support,” describing the Iranian military position as very strong, particularly with its missiles and drones that penetrate all layers of defense.
He added, “Arab regimes are cooperating with Western countries in countering Iranian strikes,” emphasizing that the Iranian strikes are achieving their objectives by targeting American bases and Israeli targets.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi called for cooperation during this phase for the benefit of the Palestinian cause, the Lebanese people, to prevent the ongoing violation of Syria, and to repel the danger to Egypt, Jordan, and the Arabian Peninsula.
He said, “Regarding our situation in Yemen, we are not neutral. We stand with Islam and the Muslim nation. We are on the side of truth, and our position in Yemen is within the framework of jihad in the path of God against the Zionist scheme against the enemies of Muslims and all of humanity.”
He added, “Our stance in Yemen is against the American-Israeli aggression, which aims to implement the Zionist diabolical scheme targeting the nation.” He emphasized that the Yemeni people reciprocate loyalty with loyalty, and that Iran was the only country—officially—that stood in solidarity with them against the aggression on their country.
He pointed out that “the Yemeni people are aware of their responsibility and cannot accept the implementation of the Zionist scheme that targets our Islam, our worldly affairs, our homelands, our freedom, our dignity, and our independence. We stand with the freedom and dignity of our Islamic nation, and this is a matter of principle.”
He continued, “We are confident that the fruit of steadfastness and perseverance, based on reliance on God and adherence to the truth, is the promised victory.” He then addressed the dear, steadfast Yemeni people, calling for a massive million-person march tomorrow, Friday, God willing.
The leader of the revolution concluded his speech by saying, “Your million-person march tomorrow is a confirmation of your steadfastness and perseverance, and an affirmation of your unwavering stance regarding the Palestinian cause and the issues of the nation. This is a firm stance against the American-Israeli aggression, which aims to implement the Zionist scheme.”
