Leader of Revolution: Quranic project more present than ever before, we are serious about targeting any Israeli enemy presence in “Somaliland”
The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed on Thursday that the Quranic project of Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi is more present than ever before, and is a manifestation of Allah’s promise to His believing, oppressed, and patient servants.
In his speech commemorating the anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran, the Leader considered this anniversary an opportunity to learn from the aspects of his character and to emulate him.
Al-Houthi pointed out that the Martyr of the Quran acted during a period of weakness and suffering, and the enemies were certain that they could rely on international support to suppress the Quranic project. He emphasized that the enemies failed in their objective of killing the Martyr of the Quran, and that his martyrdom was linked to the noblest and most sacred project.
He said, “On the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Quran, we reaffirm the sacred and blessed cause, the great sacrifice, and the sacrifices of all the martyrs in the Quranic movement, as well as the injustice suffered by the martyrdom of the Quran, his companions, and the struggling nation.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi addressed the Israeli enemy’s persistent attempts to achieve its objectives in Somalia, given its strategic location opposite the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab. He emphasized that the enemy entity’s efforts to control these waterways threaten the entire region and aim to dismantle and fragment the nation.
He stated, “The criminal Sa’ar’s visit to Somalia was clandestine, facilitated by infiltration through Ethiopia. This covert visit to Somalia stemmed from his fear of the Yemeni stance. It is clear that the criminal Sa’ar was afraid of Yemen’s position, but the level of Arab and Islamic support did not frighten him.”
The leader of the revolution reiterated Yemen’s unwavering commitment to supporting the brotherly Muslim people of Somalia, adding, “What is happening in Somalia is of paramount importance to us because it poses a threat to Yemen and the peoples of the region, and this is a matter we can never remain silent about.”
He said, “Issuing statements regarding Israeli activity in Somaliland is insufficient, as the enemy completely disregards them,” emphasizing the continuation of monitoring operations and efforts to strengthen this monitoring of Israeli activity in Somaliland.
He added, “We are serious about targeting any Israeli presence in Somaliland, whether a military base or anything similar. Any permanent Zionist presence we find within our reach will not be met with military action.”
The leader began his speech by speaking about the martyr of the Quran, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, explaining that the commemoration of his martyrdom is a celebration of a victory granted by Allah, a victory that Allah bestowed upon the blessed Quranic project. He noted that the Yemeni people widely commemorated the anniversary at both the official and popular levels.
Sayyed al-Houthi said, “Commemorating this anniversary within the framework of the established, victorious, and deeply rooted project—the blessed and sacred Quranic project—is a commemoration of the progress Allah has granted this project, a fruit of the immense contributions of the martyr of the Quran and his fellow martyrs.”
He explained that commemorating the anniversary of the Martyr of the Quran comes within the framework of the blessed presence of the people of faith and wisdom worldwide, and the Islamic nation in particular, at one of the most critical junctures. He added, “We live the memory of the Martyr of the Quran, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, every day, following a Quranic path that cultivates awareness, illuminates the way, inspires with Quranic knowledge, and brightens the insight with its popular momentum carrying the banner.”
The leader continued, “The commemoration of the Martyr of the Quran reinforces the sacred and blessed cause, the great sacrifice, and all the caravans of martyrs in the Quranic movement, as well as the injustice suffered by the Martyr of the Quran, his companions, and the struggling nation.”
He clarified that the situation of those who stand against the Quranic project—the regimes subservient to America and Israel—is the same as that of the arrogant powers in every time and place. He emphasized that the oppressive practices against those affiliated with the Quranic project—including imprisonment, killing, destruction, numerous wars, and misleading media attacks with enormous resources—have failed, while the project has grown and flourished.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi addressed “the crucial principles we desperately need to consider in light of the challenges we face, particularly the prominent personal characteristics of the Martyr of the Quran, namely, his unwavering trust in Allah Almighty.”
He stated that one of the most prominent qualities of the Martyr of the Quran was his profound trust in Allah, which was evident in his lessons and lectures. He emphasized this trust in his analysis of the nation’s current state, noting that the martyred leader prioritized the crisis of trust in Allah as a primary problem facing the nation. However, this crisis of trust in Allah negatively impacted the nation’s stances and reality.
He explained that the Martyr of the Quran acted without military support, operating in extremely vulnerable circumstances and starting from scratch. He added, “The Martyr of the Quran’s trust in Allah was immense, and this trust was manifested in his actions, the strength of his position, and the circumstances under which he acted, with the enemies at the height of their aggression against our Islamic nation at the beginning of the third millennium.”
The leader then reviewed the general state of Arab regimes at the time of the Martyr of the Quran’s rise, which was characterized by widespread defeat across most of the Arab and Islamic world.
He said, “After the American, Israeli, and Western offensive under the guise of combating terrorism, regimes rushed to ingratiate themselves with the Americans, submitting to them and obeying them under the banner of alliance.”
He added, “This official stance was reflected in the popular sentiment of most nations, resulting in a general state of defeat, surrender, and submission—a reality open to the enemies. The voice of the martyr of the Quran was different from the others; it was a voice that proclaimed the truth, spoke the Holy Quran, and acted on the basis of responsibility.”
Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the voice of the martyr of the Quran stood against the enemies in their offensive, which posed a grave danger to the nation in its religion and worldly affairs, and resulted in the loss of freedom and dignity. He pointed out that the nation had been transformed from a state of absolute servitude to its worst enemies—the arms of American, Israeli, and British Zionism—to one of obliterating its Islamic identity and subjugating it.
He continued, “The martyr of the Quran’s faith in Allah was conscious, based on the belief that the Holy Quran contains comprehensive guidance for rectifying the nation’s situation and transforming its deplorable and regrettable state. The martyr of the Quran’s faith in Allah stemmed from a firm belief in Allah’s explicit promise of victory. The inaction of most of the nation is rooted in a lack of faith in this divine promise.”
The Leader of the Revolution pointed out that the nation is targeted, and its enemies seek to humiliate and enslave it. Therefore, it needs to act according to Allah’s guidance to achieve victory over its enemies. He explained that a weakness of faith is reflected in the nation’s lack of confidence in Allah’s clear and explicit promise of victory.
He said, “Allah’s guidance is comprehensive in the face of all challenges, dangers, and circumstances at all stages. The prevailing condition in the nation’s reality is a turning away from the Quran as a source of guidance, in practical stances, and in orientations.”
He pointed out that among the prominent characteristics of the martyr of the Quran are piety towards Allah and a profound sense of responsibility. He explained that the Holy Quran instills in us a sense of responsibility, as exemplified by the concepts of jihad, enjoining good and forbidding evil—sacred and honorable responsibilities for the nation.
He emphasized that “evil enters the reality of the nation through the wicked, who spread corruption on earth. The policies, orientations, and practices of the wicked are tyranny, criminality, injustice, and corruption. This is the nature of the forces of tyranny and arrogance in our time, represented by the Zionist lobby and its arms: America, Israel, Britain, and their allies.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stated that the firm and unwavering responsibility of Allah’s prophets and saints is to strive to establish justice and confront evil and tyranny. He affirmed that striving to call to good is a sacred and great responsibility throughout history.
He said, “Our situation in this era is not unprecedented. We bear responsibilities that others have not borne before. So why do we wonder why we are bearing in this time what others before us did not bear?” He considered the path of tyranny, crime, injustice, and corruption to be an extension linked to Satan, to tyrants, criminals, oppressors, and those who spread corruption on Earth.
He stated that the conflict between truth and falsehood is a struggle between those who belong to truth and those who belong to falsehood within the framework of important, blessed, and sacred responsibilities. He emphasized the need for humanity to recognize the importance of this sacred responsibility and the danger of neglecting it.
He reiterated that the nation’s responsibility is to remain steadfast in truth and to bear its responsibility in confronting enemies, not to accept them, submit to them, and allow them to control it.
The Leader stressed that “fulfilling this responsibility is essential so that our Islamic identity remains pure, pristine, firmly established, and present in our lives. Otherwise, those evildoers will mislead and corrupt.” He emphasized that the nation is in dire need of recognizing this responsibility. She is responsible for this and understands the dangers of neglecting it, along with the severe consequences and harm that would ensue.
He explained that the control of human societies by tyrants, criminals, deceivers, and corruptors is neither simple nor easy, especially since tyrants seek to control human freedom and integrity, leaving no room for people to proceed in life according to Allah’s teachings.
He emphasized that the martyr of the Quran acted to the fullest extent possible and worked to greatly awaken the nation in this regard. Among the most prominent characteristics of the martyr of the Quran were his profound insight and awareness, which are among the most important gains from the Holy Quran.
He focused on the issue of awareness, which is one of the most important things the nation needs to confront the deception practiced by its enemies. It is one of the most prominent tools they use to control people. He affirmed that the front of evil, comprised of Jews, Christians, and their allies, is a front of misguidance, corruption, injustice, and tyranny.
The leader of the revolution stated that the enemies possess a massive capacity for deception through media and education, employing numerous methods and guises. He pointed out that this campaign of misguidance… The distortion of facts and the mixing of truth with falsehood are more prevalent in this era than in any other period in human history.
He said, “We need the light of Allah, profound insight, and great awareness to confront all the campaigns of darkness, especially given the terrifying impact of this misguidance on our nation. Its evidence is clear in the state of confusion among most of our people, who remain passive in the face of the enemy’s actions.”
He attributed the current void in the nation’s reality and its lack of fortification with awareness to its estrangement from the Holy Quran. He explained that alternatives to the Holy Quran are fragile and weak, incapable of providing the nation with sufficient vision or offering the light that the Quran provides.
He added, “The Quran dispels all darkness, no matter how dense, illuminates the path, and reveals the truth to people so that it is clear before them. It fortifies the nation with insight, and this profound awareness is evident in the lectures and lessons of the martyr of the Quran, highlighting the greatness of the Holy Quran through the examples it presents.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stated that studying the personality of the martyr of the Quran and the prominent features of his character is essential. He truly demonstrated his Quranic character throughout his life and in his actions, adding, “Among the most important features of the Quranic project is its necessity, and that we, as a Muslim nation, should have a project upon which to base our actions in confronting what targets us as a Muslim nation.”
He continued, “We are a targeted Muslim nation, and the greatest and most dangerous targeting we face is the Jewish targeting, which operates through major arms in this world.” He pointed out that the nation is targeted by international powers—America, Israel, and Britain—powerful forces with enormous capabilities, allied with the infidel West.
He added, “Within our Islamic sphere, there are many regimes, forces, and movements that are working with America, Israel, and Britain militarily, through the media, culturally, and economically, according to a plan drawn up for them. Regional regimes and forces in our Arab arena compete with each other, vying and disagreeing over who can serve America best. And within our Arab arena, there are those who compete to offer the most to American conspiracies.”
The martyred leader expressed his regret that the nation is being targeted by a Zionist-Jewish onslaught, carried out through powerful entities and forces possessing all the necessary resources. He emphasized that the Israeli enemy, planted by the enemies in the heart of the Arab and Islamic region to serve as an advanced front, penetrates our very core and imposes its complete control.
He affirmed that the enemies, in their actions, operate according to a project with specific goals and objectives, working to achieve them. These objectives target Islamic identity, and the enemies’ culture and orientation are based on the violation of our rights through killing, annihilation, and the violation of our honor, homelands, and resources.
He pointed out that “the enemies’ culture seeks to obliterate the identity they see as a factor that preserves us and maintains our steadfastness and cohesion. One of the most significant factors that facilitated the enemies’ complete control is the fragile identity of the targeted peoples. Islamic identity, in its essence and core, is great, deeply rooted, strong, and resilient.”
He said, “The culture of the Quran is such that the nation becomes capable of confronting any dangers and challenges, connecting it to Allah, His guidance, and His victory. The enemies are working to sever the nation’s connection to the Holy Quran in order to separate it from Allah, His help, His victory, and His support.”
He added, “Our nation is being targeted by an enemy with a plan, objectives, and a project. The Zionist project has two main aims: ‘Greater Israel’ and ‘Changing the Middle East.'” He pointed out that the Zionist project is documented, written, and well-known, and that some Western leaders even boast of their Zionist affiliation.
He explained that the enemies are acting according to their project and objectives, all of which are aggressive and pose a grave danger to us as a Muslim nation. He emphasized that the events occurring within the framework of the enemies’ actions to target the nation are not merely incidental occurrences that happen suddenly without context, requiring immediate, momentary responses.
The leader of the revolution noted that the predicament afflicting the Arabs is their approach to the enemy’s schemes, treating the issue as if it were simply a problem in a specific city or a particular topic. He explained that the Arabs are acting in isolation from the context of the enemy’s plans and project, through conferences or limited, marginal, and fleeting stances that quickly fade away and are circumvented by the enemies.
He addressed the enemies’ continued cumulative achievements over time, which have reached levels that pose a significant threat to the nation, adding, “After 2000, the Zionist offensive entered an advanced stage in…” Its pursuit of its ambitions is a dangerous path for the nation.
He pointed out that the enemies have moved intensively to implement their project under the guise of “combating terrorism,” adding other pretexts at each stage. He emphasized that the most dangerous situation for the nation is remaining without a clear vision, meaning that the enemies will seek to absorb it into their projects in a way that serves their interests.
He explained that “many Islamic regimes are working with the enemies against their own nation, serving the enemies, empowering them, and strengthening their control. The normalization process came about within the context of enabling the Israeli enemy in the region to assume a position of dominance and control over this nation.”
Sayyed al-Houthi added, “We are currently witnessing ongoing activities to strengthen the Israeli enemy’s presence and link the reality of the region to it—politically, economically, militarily, and in all economic, security, and even cultural and educational spheres in Arab countries—all of which serve the Israeli enemy and reinforce its control.”
He continued, “For a nation to remain without a project means it is susceptible to being absorbed into projects that serve its enemies, and to having some of its resources consumed in failed projects that have no value.” He emphasized that the takfiri trend has become a tool serving the enemies and is being manipulated as they wish to destroy the nation’s structure from within under the guise of sectarian and doctrinal divisions.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that the martyr of the Quran acted within the framework of a Quranic project to confront the Zionist project. He stated that one of the distinguishing features of the Quranic project is its authenticity, and what authenticity could be greater, more sublime, or more sacred than a project based on the Quran?
He explained that the Quranic project is the very essence of authenticity, linked to the identity of the Muslim nation and its belonging to Islam. It is not a project imported from outside the nation’s identity. He added, “Our Arab and Islamic world has witnessed many projects imported in their titles and symbols from outside the nation’s identity.”
Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out that the nation has paid a heavy price in its efforts and sacrifices for imported projects that have ultimately faded away, failing to provide any protection for the nation. These imported projects have yielded no significant results for the nation’s reality. He explained that there are consumer projects originating from the enemies, serving their interests directly and being entirely linked to them, enabling them to control the nation.
He reiterated that the Quranic project is an authentic project because it stems from the Holy Quran and the nation’s core identity and culture—a tremendous advantage. Among the project’s characteristics are its purity and clarity, with its title and content perfectly aligned.
He said, “When we return to the lessons and lectures of the martyr of the Quran, we find in them clarity and purity, and pure and pristine concepts. One of the noble characteristics of the Quranic project is its strength, for it possesses the power of truth, argument, proof, and evidence. However, some projects are presented with attractive and deceptive titles, but their content is fraudulent.”
The Leader emphasized that the Quranic project is realistic, grounded in reality, and applicable. Everyone participates in it, mobilizing the masses and the elite. Everyone is involved; it is not a project detached from people’s realities. It is a wise and fruitful project, and its effectiveness is crucial in fortifying the nation from within, in its loyalties, stances, orientations, and awareness.
He added, “We need the Quranic project in this era very much to build the nation on a practical level, to expose and thwart the plans of its enemies. This project fulfills all requirements, including those related to the stance towards the enemies and the struggle against them.”
He spoke about the effectiveness of the Quranic project, which was evident in its participants, highlighting how it elevated them from a state of complete absence to a high level of presence and effectiveness. He also noted the tangible results achieved on the ground, clearly keeping pace with changes and events.
He continued, “All the events surrounding the Quranic project testify that it has not become a relic of the past, fading away and becoming detached from reality. Whenever one reflects on the lectures and lessons presented by this Quranic project, they seem as relevant to their time, and this is a blessing from the Holy Quran.”
He pointed out that one of the important positive aspects of the Quranic project is the great value it places on jihad and sacrifice, within a framework that connects us to Allah Almighty. He emphasized that the Quranic project confronts the greatest and most dangerous attempts by enemies to strip Muslims of their human, spiritual, and moral essence.
The Leader of the Revolution reiterated that the enemies seek to transform the Muslim individual into a subservient subject, shaping their thought, culture, and orientations, so that their entire life becomes subservient to their influence and control. He explained that the Quranic project fortifies the individual, preventing them from being among those who sell their loyalty in the auction of political bargaining, nor among those who are easily deceived and thus serve the enemies.
He said, “We are moving forward with the Quranic project fully aware of its importance and the need for it. It is not a futile or problematic project in reality; rather, it came to fulfill a vital need we experience in our reality. It is truly regrettable that many members of the nation have not yet begun to consider the targeting, the reality, and the dangers, despite all the events perpetrated by America and Israel.”
He added, “Many people, even among the elite, remain in a state of apathy and waiting for the unknown. Some even hold negative or hostile stances toward the Quranic project. Many completely disregard any objective consideration of the Quranic project, its Quranic authenticity, and the need for it. Some even follow the enemy’s propaganda in their view of the project.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi addressed the nation, saying, “The evidence against the dangers targeting it is immense. The American and Israeli enemy is clear, and its true nature is at its most exposed during this current phase. The level of exposure and scandal of the American, Israeli, and Zionist agenda is unprecedented. The enemies are working hard to cover up their crimes and intentions with deceptive pretenses.”
He said, “Since the aggression against Gaza, the American and Israeli objectives have been greatly exposed, and they speak of them quite openly. The enemies’ official statements about ‘Greater Israel’ and changing the ‘Middle East’ have clearly revealed their goals.”
He pointed out that the extent of the American and Israeli crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza has been exposed, causing a global shock even to distant nations and peoples. This profound shock at Zionist aggression has revived the human conscience and made people realize the brutality of what the Americans and Israelis are doing.
He expressed regret that many regimes and peoples, unfortunately, are still far behind in reacting appropriately and understanding the gravity of the situation, emphasizing that the Israeli enemy continues its crimes and attacks against the Palestinian people.
He continued, “What the Israeli enemy is doing in Gaza and the West Bank, its violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and its attacks on the Ibrahimi Mosque are crimes witnessed daily by the nation. The enemy’s crimes and violations in Palestine must not become commonplace; this is a dangerous situation for the nation.”
The leader also addressed the Israeli enemy’s continued aggression against Lebanon and its violations of Syrian sovereignty, adding, “With the announcement of the second phase of the Gaza agreement, look at what the Israeli enemy is doing in the first phase of the agreement.”
He emphasized that the Israeli enemy is not fulfilling most of the terms of the agreement, maintaining a largely continuous siege, daily killings, ongoing attacks and destruction, and committing all forms of crimes in Gaza on a daily basis.
He said, “When we hear the titles of agreements, we must never consider the matter resolved, because the Israeli enemy continues its occupation, crimes, and attacks, posing a grave danger to the nation. Our nation must not be deceived when it hears the titles of peace being touted by the Americans and other powers.”
He warned that the Zionist threat persists, and the occupation and criminal practices continue daily in the West Bank and Jerusalem. The occupation of all of Palestine remains, he pointed to what the enemies have done to the Islamic Republic of Iran, targeting it through criminal gangs by the Americans and Israelis.
The Leader of the Revolution indicated that criminal gangs in Iran have killed Iranian citizens and security personnel, burned mosques, and committed heinous crimes in Iran bearing the hallmarks of American tactics, including slaughter and burning people alive.
He continued, “The burning of dozens of mosques in Iran and other crimes are clearly linked to the Americans and Israelis. Both the Americans and Israelis endorse and incite the crimes of the gangs in Iran and are indeed supporters, or rather, they are the ones who created them.”
