Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi Speaks on Latest Developments

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

In the latest developments of the brutal, criminal, and savage Israeli aggression and the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, now in its twenty-first month, this week alone witnessed a surge in atrocities committed by the Israeli enemy. Over 2,400 people were killed or injured during this week, the majority of them women and children. This brings the total number of casualties since the start of the aggression—now ongoing for more than 615 days—to over 192,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including those martyred, injured, or missing. All of this has occurred within a densely populated and geographically limited area. As a result, nearly 9 per cent of Gaza’s population has been wiped out—a staggering percentage in such a confined area, likely unprecedented in the history of warfare, especially modern warfare.

Alongside its crimes committed through air strikes with American-supplied bombs and artillery shelling and every imaginable form of violence used to kill and target the Palestinian people, the Israeli enemy has also orchestrated a form of genocide through starvation, enforced through death traps and execution centres. Through these traps and execution centres, the Israeli enemy, backed by the Americans, seeks to bypass the distribution of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip. It seeks to turn aid into a means of extermination and to engineer starvation as part of a massive crime that contradicts all values and morals and blatantly disregards international laws and norms. The Israeli enemy has turned aid distribution points into death zones and execution sites in the truest sense of the words. By taking control of where and how aid is handed out, they wait until thousands of starving Palestinians—desperate for food for themselves and their families—gather in hope. Then, Israeli forces open fire on them en masse. Scenes of indiscriminate, mass shootings targeting these desperate crowds are harrowing, laying bare the sheer horror of the crime and the criminal tactics the Israeli enemy is using against the Palestinian people.

Through these actions, the Israeli enemy is forcing the Palestinian people into one of two dire scenarios: either starving them to death or killing and annihilating them when they go to what it cynically calls ‘aid distribution centres’.

There has been a sharp escalation in crimes and targeted attacks against those gathering to obtain aid. These are among the most horrific crimes and represent the worst forms of exploitation aimed at achieving a deeply sinister goal: the collective extermination of the Palestinian people.

For over a hundred days, the Israeli enemy has blocked the entry and distribution of aid through the United Nations and international relief organisations, including UNRWA. When aid does enter, it seeks to turn these centres, as we mentioned, into traps for extermination and execution. The scenes that have come to light reveal this reality for all to see, laying bare the truth unmistakably.

Regarding Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Zionist Jewish enemies persist in their almost daily incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where they perform Talmudic rituals and provocative dances and chant slogans that express enmity towards Islam and Muslims and reflect their hostile agendas towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque. They are also intensifying their aggressive measures aimed at Judaising the city of Al-Quds, including

  • establishing new settler colonies in various neighbourhoods of Al-Quds,
  • expanding existing settler colonies on a larger scale,
  • seizing more Palestinian land in Al-Quds, and
  • carrying out demolitions and forced evictions targeting Palestinian homes and properties.

Certain neighbourhoods and areas face particularly intense pressure, such as Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan, Jabal Al-Mukabbir, and Issawiya, all of which are among the most significant quarters of the city.

Beyond Al-Quds, in Al-Khalil, the Israeli enemy is intensifying its efforts and endeavours to take full control of the Ibrahimi Mosque, disregarding its sanctity to Muslims. It seeks to transform it into a Jewish synagogue by imposing severe restrictions on Muslim access while granting broad access to Jews, alongside other measures aimed to achieve that goal.

As for the West Bank, the Israeli enemy continues to carry out all forms of violation and assault on a daily basis. These include the following:

  • killings, abductions, demolitions, bulldozing, and the seizure and confiscation of Palestinian land;
  • attacks by herds of usurping settlers against Palestinians in all forms, such as assaults on their homes, livestock, and farms;
  • forced displacement from several refugee camps in the West Bank;
  • besieging cities and towns in the West Bank and erecting a vast number of military barriers between them; and
  • imposing numerous restrictions on the movement of the Palestinian people between those cities and towns.

They are striving to fragment those cities and towns. The Israeli enemy’s decision to establish twenty-two new usurped lands in the West Bank means large-scale land confiscation and increased siege and isolation of some cities and towns there. Practically, this eliminates any possibility of reaching the ‘two-state solution’ adopted by the United Nations and some Western countries and Arab regimes.

The Israeli enemy has made it abundantly clear that it has abandoned this idea entirely. In fact, it never truly embraced it in the first place. It only used that notion for a time as a deceptive tactic to mislead the Palestinian people, Arab regimes, and the broader Muslim world. Now, through its words, deeds, decisions, and measures, it openly demonstrates that it rejects that solution entirely, aims to assert complete control over all of Palestine, and moves towards what is beyond as part of its known aggressive Zionist plan. In fact, even the classifications from the Oslo and Taba agreements regarding Areas A, B, and C in the West Bank have, in effect, ceased to exist since the year 2000; the Israeli enemy has completely discarded them.

Therefore, it is crystal clear that the Palestinian authority has no justification for its negative stance towards our fellow mujahidin in the West Bank nor towards the resistance factions across Palestine. It is incumbent upon the authority to change this negative policy, as its current approach shows no signs or evidence of success. The long timeframe of this path and its results on the ground prove that it is a failed course. The Israeli enemy does not seek peace, nor does it intend to give the Palestinian people any part of their land. Instead, it is working to decisively secure the final outcome in its favour. Hence, the only correct and effective path is the path of resistance; anything else amounts to surrender, loss, and total ruin. Detering the Israeli enemy and thwarting its ambitions and objectives can never be achieved without jihad for the sake of Allah, resistance, and concrete practical efforts.

In the face of the assault, brutality, and criminality committed by the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip and amid the destruction, blockade, and hunger, the mujahidin brothers in the Gaza Strip continue to confront the Israeli enemy with remarkable courage and effectiveness. They inflict direct losses on its criminal gangs, which it so-calls an army. These losses include killed and wounded soldiers, as well as the destruction and disabling of military vehicles.

The Al-Qassam Brigades carried out more than sixteen varied operations, including targeting military vehicles, sniping criminal soldiers, launching mortar attacks, and engaging in direct clashes with the enemy through precise, successful, well-executed ambushes. The Israeli enemy’s losses this week are clear evidence to the high effectiveness and impact of these operations. This week’s toll represents a significant blow to the enemy. Indeed, it reflects the effectiveness of the operations and the remarkable courage, resilience, boldness, and steadfastness of our fellow mujahidin in the Al-Qassam Brigades.

The Al-Quds Brigades also carried out a number of heroic, significant operations, including a rocket barrage targeting the enemy in Asqalan. The other factions also have their role, participation, and contribution in confronting the Israeli enemy in the Gaza Strip.

Due to its clear failure in its aggression, especially in its ground operations against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli enemy resorted to relying on criminal groups—traitorous criminals who betrayed the Palestinian people and cooperated with the Israeli enemy. However, just as this move reflects its failure, it is doomed to failure and will not achieve the goals the Israeli enemy hopes for.

Regarding Lebanon, the Israeli enemy escalated its aggression with a major attack on the southern suburb (Dahieh) on the night of Eid Al-Adha. This marks the largest escalation since the ceasefire agreement between the Lebanese State, international guarantors, and the enemy.

The Israeli enemy is also escalating and continuing its aggression against Lebanon through all forms of assaults, including killings, abductions, bulldozing, and the demolition of homes. Even fishermen and shepherds have not been spared from kidnapping! They keep committing various crimes and assaults, which clearly reveals that neither this enemy nor the guarantors can be relied upon or trusted when it comes to agreements. This affirms that resistance is a necessary choice. Therefore, all Lebanese should rally more strongly around the resistance in Lebanon, and around Hezbollah specifically, as it truly represents the real guarantee for protecting Lebanon from the Israeli threat.

In Syria, the Israeli enemy has carried out air strikes and targeted several areas with artillery shelling. It has also conducted incursions, set up checkpoints, and carried out home raids and search operations. In addition, the enemy has bulldozed agricultural lands, forests, and wooded areas. It even went so far as to confiscate livestock, seizing and looting a flock of sheep estimated to be two hundred.

The Israeli enemy has made clear its complete abandonment of any alternative options for a settlement, including those still championed by some Arab regimes—where Arabs would offer concessions in hopes of achieving peace. This is evident through its horrific crimes and massive assaults: its acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, its repeated assaults on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Al-Quds, its aggression across the West Bank, its persistent denial of Palestinian rights, and its ongoing efforts to erase the Palestinian cause entirely with all its related dimensions, as well as its continued attacks on Lebanon and Syria, using such an aggressive and criminal approach.

It continues its criminal course, relying primarily on American support and partnership. This is one of the main factors driving its escalation, assaults, blatant disregard for everything (including laws, regulations, and norms), and open defiance of all international calls to halt its crimes. Indeed, it is this reliance on American backing that remains a key pillar of its actions.

Another main factor that encouraged it to continue its crimes, assaults, and aggression is the widespread inaction of the Arab world and much of the Islamic Ummah. Most Arab regimes, and generally those in the Islamic world, remain deeply passive. They offer the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin nothing. They do not take any meaningful action in response to the enemy’s ongoing genocide, its repeated violations and assaults, and its most heinous and horrific crimes. This, in turn, encourages the enemy. No matter how much the Israeli enemy escalates, no matter what crimes it commits or hostile steps it takes, even against one of the most sacred sites in Islam (the Al-Aqsa Mosque), it finds that the position and state of most Arab regimes and many Islamic ones remains unchanged. They have not moved in any serious or practical way against what the Israeli enemy is doing. This represents a grave abdication of human, religious, and moral responsibility and a neglect of causes that deeply concern this Ummah. Today, this Ummah faces dire threats to its security, its faith, its daily life, and its interests. These threats are growing even more serious due to this unjustifiable inaction and negligence. This is truly unjustifiable, especially given that this Ummah is capable of doing so much more.

The state of Arab regimes, along with most Islamic regimes, has reached a level that falls short of the position taken by many non-Islamic countries, which have implemented practical steps to economically and diplomatically boycott the Israeli enemy. They have taken political positions that are more advanced than those of many Arab and Islamic regimes. In fact, this is shameful, and at the same time, it is a blatant failure to fulfil religious, human, moral, and faith-based responsibilities, posing a significant danger to this Ummah. This is because there are inevitable consequences for reaching such a level of passivity and complete disregard for extremely important issues that have such religious, moral, humanitarian, and spiritual weight and affect the security of this Ummah and its religious and worldly affairs.

Such a level of neglect has inevitable consequences, as warned by Allah in the Holy Quran and as ordained in His ways with His servants. In fact, this state of passivity has reached such a serious extent where the Ummah seems to be entirely unconcerned with what is happening to the Palestinian people, who are part of it and whose land is part of the Islamic and Arab lands and is home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is one of the most sacred sites of this Ummah. They do not act or offer even the slightest support to the Palestinian people. What do most Arab and Islamic regimes provide to our fellow mujahidin and to the resistance movements in Palestine? In fact, some regimes go as far as colluding with the enemy and designating those resistance movements in Palestine as terrorist movements. This situation is extremely dangerous!

Warning those passive observers who care only about their own interests based on a misguided view—though in the end, they will lose even the very interests they prioritised over their sacred responsibilities and duties—Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran:

  • {‘Then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people‘}[At-Tawbah 9:24];
  • {‘If you do not march forth, He will afflict you with a painful torment and replace you with other people, and you can do Him no harm at all. And Allah is Most Capable of everything‘}[At-Tawbah 9:39]; and
  • {‘Say, [O Prophet,] “Flight will not avail you if you flee from death or killing, and even then you will not be left to enjoy [life] but for a little while”‘}[Al-Ahzab 33:16]—{‘and even then you will not be left to enjoy [life] but for a little while.’}

Allah (the Almighty), in His true admonition, brings about changes that include the fulfilment of His threats. He is Most Capable of everything, and nothing can hinder Him from executing what He has threatened. Therefore, if the people of this Ummah fail to understand and to seriously take up their responsibilities and duties towards what is happening to the Palestinian people, it is only a matter of time before they face the consequences. For what is happening is neither insignificant nor simple. Turn on the television and watch the very tragic, painful, and deeply saddening scenes of the injustice suffered by the Palestinian people, even during the days of Eid Al-Adha. You can see how Eid was in Gaza. Look at the condition of the displaced, who are bombed and left to burn alive in their tents, including women and children, by the Israeli enemy with American incendiary and destructive bombs. You see the state of hunger, poverty, deprivation, and immense suffering faced by the Palestinian people in Gaza.

This Ummah —at the level of its regimes and countries—has the ability to offer substantial support to the Palestinian people, instead of pouring trillions of dollars into the hands of the Americans, who in turn provide the Israeli enemy with full support in the form of bombs, various weapons, and financial aid. In just one year, the amount of money given by the Americans to the Israeli enemy was estimated at 20 billion dollars—just in a single year! With that said, you can imagine how much support they have provided so far.

This is an extremely dangerous issue, for the divine decree will come to pass, and Allah will carry out His threats. Failing to take action and fulfil major responsibilities is a very serious issue, as it significantly emboldens the Israeli enemy: The more passive the Ummah becomes, the bolder and more relentless the Israeli enemy grows in its campaign of mass extermination against the Palestinian people—through starvation, thirst, and every kind of crime.

Moreover, this level of passivity reveals the deeply regrettable state of most regimes—one that has also spread among the peoples: a state of moral and human bankruptcy. It is a dangerous state affecting the reality of our Ummah.

Allah (the Almighty) has prescribed rites, obligations, and even religious occasions that have a profound moral impact and nurture the spiritual and moral growth of this Ummah. Indeed, the sons of our Ummah are in dire need of such spiritual nourishment that elevates them psychologically, morally, and spiritually, while also strengthening their trust in Allah (the Almighty), which is essential in practical life. However, when there is no serious effort to truly benefit from these religious occasions, the Ummah becomes lost—even while performing religious rituals and obligations and observing occasions. This is the case when these are observed in isolation from their moral purposes and powerful effect on both one’s soul and practical reality.

The season of Hajj has arrived, and pilgrims are performing this sacred obligation—one of the greatest acts of worship and most significant Islamic rites. It is meant to achieve profound moral purposes, among other broad and important purposes within the religion of Allah, the Almighty.

In the first Islamic Hajj following the conquest of Mecca, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) declared dissociation from the polytheists and sent Imam Ali (PBUH) to publicly deliver this declaration during Hajj. From that moment, Hajj in Islam took on its unique identity that goes in line with the teachings and guidance of Allah (Glory be to Him):

  • It had a moral impact in instilling mindfulness of Allah and elevating faith.
  • It significantly contributed to reinforcing unity among Muslims—a unity founded on collectively holding fast to the rope of Allah, embracing collective responsibilities, and remaining committed to upholding the causes of the Muslim Ummah while aligning their orientations with divine guidance.

Hajj, therefore, became a source of vitality, strength, dignity, cohesion, and solidarity for the Ummah.

Today, however, this obligation is performed with cold indifference, stripped of its purpose and intended impact. It is performed in a lifeless manner that drains it of its essence and empties it of much of its deeper significance. As a result, it has been reduced to a mere set of rituals with limited effect on a narrow level—at a time when our Ummah is in dire need of drawing true benefit from this obligation so that it can have an impact on the moral reality of the Ummah, reviving it anew, just as Allah revived it with Islam in its earliest days.

Regarding Eid Al-Adha, it is a significant religious occasion that teaches us important lessons about surrendering to Allah’s command above all else. This is what the Ummah needs. Today, there is a very large gap in the Ummah’s commitment to Allah’s teachings and instructions. This gap has a profoundly negative impact on the Ummah’s reality and its life: Allah’s teachings and instructions are all wise and bring us dignity, freedom, and all the good in this world and the Hereafter, and any neglect of these instructions and teachings that Allah has commanded us to follow results in serious consequences for the Ummah. This issue is very serious for us as a Muslim ummah. We need sincere and conscious attention to correct our relationship with Allah’s guidance and instructions and improve our perspective towards them so that it becomes a proper and correct one. This is what can elevate us.

These occasions are what nurture us to be mindful of Allah. Indeed, Allah Himself said regarding Hajj, {‘Provide well for yourselves; but, in truth, the best provision is piety‘}[Al-Baqarah 2:197]. Among the most significant spiritual and moral effects of these occasions is that they contribute to the development of a sense of accountability among those who truly engage with them and benefit from them. They become acutely aware of their responsibility before Allah and recognise the grave consequences of their negligence. We are an ummah with significant sacred responsibilities, such as the responsibility of jihad in the path of Allah and the duty to enjoin what is good and forbid what is wrong. These are immense and crucial responsibilities, and by neglecting these responsibilities, the Ummah has left a vacuum in the global arena—one that has served the forces of evil, criminality, and oppression. Consequently, the Ummah has become a victim itself, losing the global role it should play as a force that spreads goodness and stands against evil, as a bearer of light against the darkness of tyranny, and as an ummah that enjoins what is right and forbids what is wrong. Consequently, the Ummah’s own sphere has become a ground for injustice, wrongdoing, and the rising influence of the forces of darkness, misguidance, and falsehood—the enemies of the Ummah and humanity.

This reality is therefore deeply regrettable and calls for those who are engaged in awareness and outreach activities within the Ummah to help guide it, through the Holy Quran, back to the guidance of Allah. They should help the Ummah to re-engage with religious occasions as opportunities to enhance its moral reality, to grow in faith, and to address this state that affects all areas of the Ummah’s reality and causes serious harm to its overall condition.

When the people of falsehood, evil, crime, tyranny, and aggression show greater seriousness, diligence, perseverance, and concern than this Ummah does towards its just causes, the oppression it faces, its sacred responsibilities, and other such matters, then such contrasts are deeply regrettable and entirely unbecoming to this Ummah. They reflect the extent of the profound flaw in the condition of the Ummah—a flaw that poses a danger to it not only in this worldly life but also in the Hereafter.

Likewise, with regard to learning from history and historical events and deriving lessons from them, we recently witnessed the anniversary of what is referred to as Naksa: the setback of June 1967, when the Israeli enemy succeeded in defeating three Arab armies, backed by Arab states. At that time, it managed to occupy the remainder of Palestine and parts of other Arab countries in just six days! At that time, the Arab armies were not lacking in equipment or arms; on the contrary, they were well-prepared and, in fact, possessed more than what the Israeli enemy had in terms of arms and military resources.

Indeed, that defeat had a profoundly negative impact on the Arab regimes at the psychological and moral levels—in fact, it was unjustified in the first place. This impact extended even to the political sphere, including political choices and stances. Despite the fact that the Arabs convened in Sudan following that setback and defeat and declared their three ‘No’s’—’No peace, no negotiations, no recognition!—in practice, they went in precisely the opposite direction. They neither addressed their situation properly nor accurately diagnosed the causes behind their defeat. They did not even take measures to resolve the issue. Instead, most of them adopted misguided approaches that ultimately served the interests of the Israeli enemy.

Had they simply directed their efforts towards seriously supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance (which could be achieved through armament, training, preparation, and providing the necessary economic, military, and political backing), this course of action alone would have been effective, influential, and highly significant. It would have constituted a powerful, impactful, and beneficial choice. However, despite the long period and various developments that followed, they failed to benefit from the successful model of resistance—namely, the Palestinian resistance led by our striving brothers in the Palestinian jihadist movements and the Lebanese resistance, which later also achieved major, significant, remarkable victories. Although that model had proved its effectiveness and had inflicted repeated defeats upon the Israeli enemy at the time, they did not take the initiative to embrace, support, or give it the attention it deserved. On the contrary, most Arab regimes adopted negative positions towards the resistance and jihad movements in both Palestine and Lebanon. Their attitudes were largely hostile. Ultimately, some even went so far as to designate them as terrorist organisations: They designated the jihadist movements in Palestine, as well as Hezbollah in Lebanon, as terrorists.

The lesson is now plain and evident to everyone:

  • There is the example of the Arab armies that suffered a resounding defeat in just six days despite enjoying a favourable position. They were not under siege or blockade, unlike Gaza today. At that time, Arab regimes had full access to arms and equipment and had the means to build and recover—nothing was lacking for Arab regimes at the time.
  • There is also the present situation in Gaza, where our fellow mujahidin in the resistance have shown extraordinary courage and steadfastness in the face of the Israeli enemy for over 600 days and until today. This endurance comes despite the different situation of our fellow mujahidin in Gaza with their extremely limited capabilities in terms of weaponry and material resources. This is not to mention the major disparity between the Israeli enemy’s capabilities back then and the advanced military capabilities it now possesses, not to mention the advanced and highly destructive military capabilities it receives today from the Americans, including capabilities for surveillance, targeting, intelligence gathering, and operations. The difference is immense

Despite being far weaker in the past, the Israeli enemy managed to defeat three well-equipped and heavily manned Arab armies in six days! Yet now, after more than 600 days, it has failed to crush the resistance and the mujahidin in Gaza or achieve its publicly declared objectives—such as retrieving its captives without a prisoner exchange or eliminating the mujahidin.

These vast disparities in capabilities are striking. On one side are our fellow mujahidin in Gaza, operating under conditions entirely different from those of the Arab armies. On the other is the enemy, whose current power and backing stand in sharp contrast to its more modest capabilities at the time it defeated those Arab armies. This is not to mention the open-ended support it enjoys today from the Americans, with advanced, sophisticated military capacities.

Why, then, do the Arabs not take heed of this lesson? Why don’t they sincerely offer all significant support they are capable of providing to the mujahidin in Palestine and the Palestinian people? Instead, what we see is a state of widespread passivity, ignorance, and blindness. There is no attempt to learn from history or from the clear and present realities, despite this immensely important lesson—one that clearly demonstrates the existence of a successful model, grounded in identifiable causes. It is a model that warrants comprehensive support. Fully backing it could decisively shift the balance in the ongoing struggle with the Israeli enemy.

As for solidarity efforts with Palestine, this week saw the Madleen ship set sail—a symbolic act aimed at breaking the siege. It was carried out by twelve individuals from different countries. They brought symbolic supplies of food and medicine, but the Israeli enemy intercepted the ship in international waters, seizing the ship and kidnaping the humanitarian activists.

Regarding the demonstrations, this week saw demonstrations in Morocco, Jordan, and Tunisia. France also saw a wave of mass demonstrations—nearly 200 in total—with hundreds of thousands participating. One such demonstration in Paris alone drew tens of thousands. Demonstrations were also held in America, despite repression and arrests, as well as in Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Britain, and Belgium.

Some European countries have announced measures against certain Zionist criminals. These actions, however, are largely symbolic and limited. However, this is not the right response they should really take if these countries truly care about their humanitarian image, liberal values, or anything of that sort. What is unfolding in Palestine and the crimes perpetrated by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people amount to a profound scandal for the West. It exposes the emptiness of its professed values—be they humanitarian, liberal, or otherwise. What we see instead is a display of savagery and criminality, with the West complicit in the Israeli enemy’s crimes.

Some Western regimes are now deeply embarrassed at how exposed they have become! To deflect attention from their tarnished reputation, they resort to announcing some limited measures. Britain is a prime example—a country that bears the primary responsibility and the greatest historical burden for what has happened, and continues to happen, to the Palestinian people since its occupation of Palestine, which was followed by its backing and empowerment of criminal Zionist gangs to occupy Palestine. Today, it engages only in hollow, token measures!

The real measures that could reflect a serious stand against the genocide and criminal acts committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people are clear:

  • halting all military cooperation with the Israeli enemy, including arms sales and military aid;
  • taking concrete, meaningful steps towards effective economic and political boycotts.

On the support front from the Yemen of faith and jihad, in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, military operations continue with missile and drone strikes deep into occupied Palestine, targeting the Israeli enemy in support of the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin. This week, eleven ballistic and hypersonic missiles and drones were launched at Israeli targets in Haifa, Yaffa, and Isdud. Five of the missiles were aimed at Lod Airport, which the Israeli enemy named after the criminal Ben Gurion, in occupied Yaffa.

One of the most notable operations this week was the one on Tuesday evening, which was powerful, impactful, and successful, thanks to Allah, the Almighty. This operation caused a serious disruption to the Israeli defence system. Multiple interceptive missiles were launched, some coinciding with a plane’s take-off from Lod Airport. Smoke columns were observed rising from the airport area, indicating that a missile had hit its target. These strikes also forced millions of Zionist settlers into shelters, triggering air-raid sirens across hundreds of occupied towns and cities in Palestine.

These operations come as part of the ongoing effort to impose an aerial blockade on the Israeli enemy, as our forces are striving to achieve this important objective in response to the enemy’s escalation and its criminal acts of genocide. As for the maritime blockade in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Bab Al-Mandab strait, it remains in effect, with navigation prohibited for the Israeli enemy, which is currently inactive in the area of operations. However, as we mentioned, there are Arab and Islamic regimes that facilitate the delivery of goods to the Israeli enemy via ships through the Mediterranean Sea and also transport goods on its behalf, which is very regrettable!

With regard to public activities, hundreds of protest gatherings were held during Eid Al-Adha across most prayer grounds. With Allah’s permission, our dear people will continue these efforts through public gatherings, events, symposia, mobilisation activities, mass rallies, and million-strong demonstrations. For this is jihad in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him), through lawful and accessible means, fulfilling a sacred, moral, and religious duty. Persisting in these activities is a form of jihad, fulfilling a sacred duty. It is also an expression of loyalty and goes in line with morals, humanitarian and faith-based values, honour, and virtue. Our Yemeni people are a people of faith—the Yemen of faith and wisdom and the land of loyalty, values, and ethics. Therefore, with Allah’s permission, they will continue these activities, maintaining a unified comprehensive position both at the official and grassroots levels and across all spheres, drawing closer to Allah through their actions, and fulfilling their spiritual, moral, and human duty. They are aware of how important this is in drawing closer to Allah (the Almighty) and attaining the blessings He grants to those who respond to His call, as He says of jihad in His way, {‘That is better for you, if you only knew‘}[As-Saf 61:11]. Indeed, among the fruits of this path are the dignity of faith and protection from disgrace. By contrast, submission and subjugation to the enemies of Allah and of humanity only brings more humiliation, degradation, and moral decline. Allah seals the hearts of those who follow that path—they grow consumed by fear, panic, helplessness, and surrender. The consequences of this path are grave, both in this world and the Hereafter.

That our people have taken this noble and comprehensive stand is by the grace of Allah (Glory be to Him) and His immense favour, as He has said regarding jihad in His cause, {‘This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills‘}[Al-Ma’idah 5:54]. Showing true gratitude for this blessing means persevering with steadfastness, uprightness, and earnest commitment—without fatigue, weariness, or complacency. It is to remain constantly aware of the greatness and importance of this position—one that pleases Allah (Glory be to Him) and carries with it honour and merit in both this life and the Hereafter. This position has meaningful effects at the moral, spiritual, and practical levels and in building our nation into a strong nation that strives for moral and practical excellence and the development of its capabilities and resources. We have witnessed the impact and importance of this path over these past twenty months. Every outcome has been blessed and to the benefit of our dear people. It is true that we have indeed made sacrifices, but these were sacrifices for the sake of Allah, for a cause deserves such sacrifices, which have proved to be fruitful, meaningful sacrifices.

We call upon our dear people—by the call of Allah (Glory be to Him), of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and of the Holy Quran—to take part in the million-strong demonstration tomorrow, Allah willing, in the capital Sana’a at Al-Sabeen Square, and across the other governorates, districts, and public squares, in line with the usual arrangements.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer! We also ask Him to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin.

Allah willing, we hope to see a wide and forceful turnout tomorrow. This is an act of fidelity—to Allah, to the Palestinian cause, to Islam, and to the Holy Quran. The Palestinian people are enduring an extremely difficult time, so all forms of action must continue. Our voice must be clear and bold, and our presence must be resounding!

Persistence and resolve are our choice because they are at the heart of our spiritual and religious responsibility.

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
