Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi Speaks on Latest Developments in Gaza

The Revolution Leader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that the Yemeni people are studying further escalatory options and are continuously working on developing military capabilities to be more effective in harming and pressuring the Zionist enemy.

In his speech today regarding the developments of the aggression on Gaza and the international and regional situation, Sayyed Abdul-Malik stated:
“At both the official and popular levels, and militarily and in all fields, we are exerting every effort to support the Palestinian people. Amid the tragedy in which we share their pain and suffering, we are exploring further escalatory options and continually working to enhance our military capabilities to be more effective in punishing and pressuring the enemy.”

He renewed his appeal to the governments of the countries geographically separating Yemen from Palestine to open routes for the Yemeni people, who are ready to move in the hundreds of thousands to support the Palestinian cause.

He added:
“Opening routes to support the Palestinian people is our sincere wish and goal, and we hope to achieve that. The Yemeni people are deeply pained, and the voices raised in protests and marches reflect the level of this engagement and the presence of a genuine will.”

He continued:
“Our people remain steadfast in their position against American, British, and Israeli aggression, undeterred by economic warfare, blockade, or media campaigns aimed at swaying public opinion. By the grace of God, these attempts have failed.”

The Revolution Leader praised the activism of Yemeni scholars as an inspiring model for religious scholars and mosque preachers across the Islamic world, highlighting the continued tribal gatherings in Yemen as deeply significant, since the tribal role is fundamental and constitutes the backbone of Yemeni society.

He also pointed to the massive demonstrations at Sana’a University, calling it a model for all universities in the Islamic world. He questioned:
“Where are the actions of university students and academics in our Islamic world, who are supposed to be more conscious and active?”

He noted that over 1,007,000 people have undergone mobilization training, considering it a major and significant achievement.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik began his speech by addressing the Zionist war on Gaza, describing this week as the harshest, most tragic, and most unjust since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

He said that the scenes of children and their suffering in Gaza are heartbreaking and represent a disgrace on all of humanity, especially the Muslim world. He emphasized that children in Gaza suffer immensely, and the Israeli enemy has made them a primary target of its criminal practices and unjust aggression.

He condemned the Israeli enemy’s prevention of baby formula from entering Gaza to feed infants, confirming that the enemy is aiming to exterminate children and has made them a central focus in its criminal agenda.

He added that the Zionist gangs, who call themselves the “Israeli army,” boast about publishing videos of children being killed as if it were entertainment. He asked:
“Where are children’s rights? Human rights? And all the slogans the godless West promotes to deceive other peoples?”

The Revolution Leader stated that the Israeli enemy targets pregnant women and the elderly, and their suffering in Gaza is immensely painful. He cited examples of the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against children and women through siege and starvation.

He described what the Israeli enemy is committing on the ground as horrific, monstrous, and occurring on a massive scale, calling it a series of heinous crimes. He argued that the Western slogans of “women’s rights” are merely tools for deception, misguidance, and targeting values to dismantle our societies.

He pointed out that the Israeli enemy is depriving Palestinian women in Gaza of all basic needs, painting an extremely tragic and sorrowful picture. He confirmed that Palestinian women in Gaza are being killed with American bombs and forcibly displaced from one area to another.

He said, “This week, many people in Gaza have not eaten anything — not a single bite — for five days. The deadly traps set by the Americans have turned into killing grounds, claiming the lives of over a thousand Palestinian martyrs from Gaza.”

He pointed out that the starvation crisis is extremely severe — a crime that has cast a heavy shadow over Gaza and a disgrace upon humanity, especially the Arab and Muslim world. He revealed that 71,000 children are facing death due to acute malnutrition, and 17,000 mothers require urgent intervention to avoid deadly complications from starvation.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik explained that deaths among children and infants continue due to deteriorating health and humanitarian conditions caused by the blockade and ongoing bombardment. He stated that 900,000 children in Gaza are suffering from hunger, with 70,000 already entering the stage of malnutrition.

He spoke of the suffering of diabetic and kidney patients, whose lives are now endangered due to poor nutrition, experiencing severe complications as a result of starvation. He added, “It is a great shame on all institutions, organizations, the international community, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that they have done nothing for Gaza.”

He asked, “Where is the Arab League? What are they doing about the ongoing starvation, genocide, and forced displacement?” He noted that the Israeli enemy continues to target displaced people even after forcing them into narrow, overcrowded areas.

He pointed out one of the enemy’s methods of inducing thirst: forcing Gaza’s residents to move from areas where water might be available to places where there is none at all. He stressed that the tragedy of the Palestinian people has reached a horrific, deeply saddening, and extremely painful level.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik stated that the Palestinian people in Gaza feel betrayed by the Arab world and Muslims at large, as the responsibility lies with them first and foremost. He questioned, “Where are the Arabs? What has happened to the Muslims? Why this silence? Why this passivity in the face of such a catastrophe in Gaza? Where are the human, Islamic, and moral responsibilities?”

He continued, “The Israeli enemy is an enemy to all and poses a threat to everyone. If the Arabs don’t stand with the Palestinian people in this long-standing and clear injustice — due to their failure — then in which injustice will they ever unite?”

He warned that the Arab world’s indifference and inaction represent a collective death of conscience and a widespread betrayal of values. The consequences of this negligence are dangerous for everyone, and the situation is extremely grave — especially considering that Muslims are not a small nation. He emphasized that the nearly two billion-strong Muslim Ummah, along with hundreds of millions of Arabs, are largely inactive — except for a small number who have taken a clear and principled stance against the enemy.

He explained, “Those who support the Palestinian people have become a rare exception within the Ummah and are being fought within it by regimes and entities allied with the enemies. The hostile, negative stance toward supporters of Palestine reflects the worst kind of moral apathy and the ugliest denial of innate human values in this era.”

He affirmed that the Zionist regime has been allowed to commit crimes globally with impunity, partnered with the U.S., particularly in Gaza — a blatant disregard for human life. He explained that Zionism is a global movement created by Jews to serve as their arm across the world, with two wings — the American and the Israeli — and a global agenda.

The Leader of the Revolution described the Zionist movement as aggressive, criminal, oppressive, corrupting, and enslaving — especially to Arabs and then the rest of the Muslim world. He noted that Zionism is behind the idea of the “golden billion” — a vision of preserving one elite group at the expense of exterminating the rest of humanity.

He said, “Zionism has inherited colonial criminality — a greed-driven drive to dominate, plunder, enslave, erase identities, and confiscate freedom and independence. From the beginning of the usurpation of Palestine, the Arab reaction has been weak and far from living up to either the responsibility or the danger.”

He affirmed that the Arab stance has remained weak, chaotic, and unstudied — progressively declining toward disgraceful normalization. He added, “Normalization is not just an ordinary relationship with a criminal occupier; it’s collaboration with an enemy of the Ummah — in both religion and worldly matters.”

He continued, “No matter how severe the Israeli crimes in Gaza become, the enemy is confident there will be no unified, strong response from Muslims and Arabs. The Arab and Islamic failure — except for a few — has directly contributed to the level of Zionist Jewish criminality against the Palestinian people.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik described the starvation of two million people in Gaza in such an open and deliberate manner as a product of the weak and cowardly Arab-Islamic trajectory. He stated that for 22 months, some Islamic and Arab regimes have not stopped their ships from delivering goods and food to the Israeli enemy.

He revealed that during this time, some of the largest Arab and Islamic regimes even increased their trade exchange with the Israeli enemy. He added, “One Islamic regime pretends to show sympathy with the Palestinian people in the media, while in reality, its trade with the enemy exceeds that of any other country in the world.”

He concluded, “Some of the major Arab regimes have even tried to offer themselves as an alternative to the Israeli enemy in light of Yemen’s stance on blocking Zionist navigation. These regimes have provided the Israeli enemy with various food supplies and goods — at the same time the Palestinian people are under siege.”

He expressed regret that Arab and Islamic regimes have not taken a single practical step to cut diplomatic or economic ties with the Israeli enemy. At a time when these regimes have failed to take even the minimal stance, they are instead — both secretly and openly — moving toward full normalization with the enemy.

He continued, “Some Arab and Islamic regimes go so far as to oppose those who oppose the Israeli enemy. This is extremely unfortunate and a betrayal of Islamic principles. Today, we are witnessing two parallel paths: one where the enemy intensifies its aggression and brutality to the highest level, and another within the Arab and Islamic world aimed at discouraging the Ummah from supporting Palestine.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi confirmed that the negative, shameful, and complicit stance of the Arab world regarding the Palestinian cause is negatively influencing the positions of other Islamic nations. He pointed to the hostile stance of major Arab regimes toward Iran simply because, in their view, it commits the “sin” of supporting the Palestinian people and surpasses them in doing so.

He added, “The direction of major Arab regimes is completely different — not to allow anyone to seriously or sincerely stand with the Palestinian cause. Meanwhile, the Israeli path, in full partnership with the Americans, is actively pursuing the final liquidation of the Palestinian cause through concrete actions.”

He clarified that the parallel track in the Arab and Islamic reality is one of sedation and immobilization of the Ummah. As the Israeli enemy escalates its aggression, displacement, and destruction, the Ummah sadly becomes more paralyzed and regresses further.

He went on to say, “Any so-called peace with such a brutal and criminal enemy that recognizes none of the rights of the Ummah is, in fact, surrender disguised as peace. Despite what the Israeli enemy is doing in Lebanon and Syria, these regimes constantly talk about peace just to paralyze the Ummah and prevent any reaction or stance.”

He added, “The Israeli enemy openly declares that it will never recognize a Palestinian state or any rights for Palestinians. While it kills, destroys, demolishes, and displaces, these regimes tell our people: ‘Don’t move — we’re committed to peace!'”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik noted that slogans of “peace,” “normalization,” and “accepting defeat” serve the Israeli agenda. He stressed that the Israeli enemy has no intention of peace — it is actively working toward the complete eradication of the Palestinian cause.

He expressed his deep regret that a large portion of the media activity in many Arab regimes is directed not against the enemy, but against those who support the Palestinian people — through defamation, doubt, and slander. He pointed out that the propaganda campaigns of many Arab regimes adopt the Israeli and American narrative, only delivered in Arabic.

He stated, “In many Arab countries, any public activity in support of the Palestinian people is banned. In some of these countries, even peaceful demonstrations are suppressed and any form of solidarity with the Palestinian people is prohibited.” He compared the state of some Arab countries to that of the West, where any criticism of Israel is silenced under the pretext of antisemitism.

He added, “Some Arabs are working to ensure that any criticism of the Israeli enemy or any form of support for the Palestinian people is banned. The negative stance of many Arab regimes has gone beyond mere passivity — it is now actively serving the interests of the Israeli enemy.”

He confirmed that Zionist Jewish criminality is ideologically driven, stemming from a deeply corrupt and hostile cultural and religious foundation. He explained that from childhood, Zionist Jews are raised on doctrines that instill an extremely negative view of other human societies.

He said, “Zionist Jews do not recognize Arabs as part of the human race — rather, they view them as creatures or animals in human form meant to serve the Israeli enemy. The distorted scriptures in the hands of the Jews promote a disdainful and predatory worldview toward all other human societies, reinforcing a mentality of conquest and hatred.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik described Zionist Jews as a real and serious threat to the Ummah, stating that their actions are neither accidental nor individual, but are deliberate and based on malicious ideological beliefs. He added, “Alongside the Zionist violation of Islamic societies, there is intense hatred and immense greed for our nations, resources, and lands.”

He reiterated that the Zionist criminals, with their beliefs and actions, cannot be stopped except through action according to divine law. He emphasized that action must be taken in accordance with the divine tradition to confront the Zionist criminals; otherwise, their tyranny will grow, and their evil will spread and expand to affect other peoples and nations.

He expressed astonishment that some are calling on Hamas to surrender its weapons, affirming that one of the most outrageous and foolish ideas is this demand — even coming from the Palestinian Authority itself.

He said, “The Palestinian Authority is demonstrating astonishing stupidity, and some of its members are working in the interests of the Israeli enemy. The proper and just logic, according to truth and justice, is that the Israeli enemy should not possess a single weapon — so how can it be supplied with every type of deadly weapon?”

He added, “In Lebanon, some forces and parties with extremely negative past relations with the Israeli enemy are now pushing to disarm Hezbollah — a resistance force whose weapons exist to protect Lebanon, preserve its independence, and maintain its sovereignty and strength.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi confirmed that efforts to disarm Hezbollah serve the interests of the enemies and are misguided, foolish, and dangerous. He emphasized that the Islamic Ummah is in desperate need of weapons — especially the Arab and Muslim peoples, who are the ones under constant aggression.

He questioned, “Why is there a desire to disarm our Ummah while it is under a savage Israeli-American assault? Sadly, our nations are being attacked in both religion and worldly matters — and yet they want to take away our arms so we can be an easy prey.”

He recalled several historical instances where those who laid down their arms were exterminated, humiliated, and slaughtered by hostile and criminal enemies. He said, “Didn’t the Sabra and Shatila massacre in Lebanon happen only after the Palestinian fighters laid down their weapons?”

He also asked, “When did the greatest massacres in Palestine occur? It was when the Palestinian people did not have sufficient weapons, failed to take military action early enough, and did not receive adequate Arab and Islamic support to arm themselves properly.”

The Leader praised the continued steadfastness and exceptional bravery of the resistance fighters in Gaza, whose heroism is unmatched in the modern world — even by the enemy’s own admission. He stated that Israel faces a severe crisis in Gaza, especially at the military level, suffering from personnel shortages, psychological issues, and widespread desertion among reserve forces.

He emphasized that mass starvation in Gaza is not a show of military strength or victory — rather, it is an act of horrific criminality. He praised the Qassam Brigades for carrying out around 15 operations, including ambushes, destruction of enemy vehicles, and sniper attacks on soldiers. He also praised the Islamic Jihad’s al-Quds Brigades for carrying out major and significant operations.

“The overall atmosphere among the fighters in Gaza is one of unity, cooperation, and collective effort — and that is remarkable and important,” he said, praising the honorable stances of the Grand Muftis of Oman and Libya, while condemning the disgraceful position of Al-Azhar.

He expressed regret that Al-Azhar withdrew a statement condemning Israeli crimes, deleting it shortly after it was published — a deeply saddening and unfortunate action. He asserted that such political submissiveness reflects the attitude of many religious scholars who have chosen silence, surrender, and discouragement.

He added, “Those who now publicly discourage support for Gaza are the same figures who once incited war in Syria, Iraq, and other nations under the pretext of ‘jihad’.”

Regarding solidarity efforts with the Palestinian people, he noted that the “Freedom Flotilla” is on its 36th mission — a symbolic attempt to break the siege on Gaza. He emphasized that this is a crucial moment for Muslims to act, especially as global condemnation of Israel’s crimes is at an all-time high. The world’s acknowledgment of Palestinian suffering is now at an unprecedented level.

He continued, “There is now widespread exposure of the Israeli enemy, along with its American and pro-Zionist European allies. The global atmosphere is actually in favor of Muslims — if only they realize the opportunity and its importance in pushing back against danger.”

He lamented the deeply disappointing stances of some Arab and Islamic regimes — positions that fall short of even the level of solidarity and sympathy shown by countries far removed geographically.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik also addressed the Yemeni support front in the battle of the “Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad,” affirming that Yemen’s front remains fully committed to supporting the people of Gaza.

He revealed that this past week alone, Yemeni forces launched 11 operations targeting occupied Palestine with hypersonic missiles and drones aimed at the Israeli enemy. He confirmed that the blockade on Israeli maritime navigation continues, and the closure of Eilat Port (Umm al-Rashrash) has resumed — a blow that has inflicted serious losses on the enemy and represents a true defeat.

He noted that since Yemen began its support for Gaza, it has conducted 1,679 operations using missiles, drones, and naval crafts — despite enemy attempts to halt or diminish Yemen’s stance. He confirmed that these efforts failed in both the first and second rounds of American-British-Israeli aggression.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik reported that Yemen has suffered 2,843 airstrikes and naval bombardments, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and wounded. Yet he affirmed that the Israeli and American enemy has failed to stop Yemen’s jihadist support for Gaza and the Palestinian people.

He declared, “This is the time for jihad — more than ever before. The battlefield is clear, the cause is just, and the enemy is openly hostile to Islam and Muslims. Where are the rest of the Ummah — even those who used to march under Islamic and jihadist slogans — why are they not standing for Palestine?”

He praised the massive demonstrations and gatherings held last Friday across Yemen, calling them worthy of the Yemeni people. He called for an unprecedented, million-strong turnout tomorrow, stressing that we are in an exceptional moment given the shameful and disgraceful abandonment by most Islamic countries.

“In light of the unprecedented suffering and catastrophe faced by the Palestinian people, tomorrow’s turnout must be unprecedented as well,” he said. “Supporting the oppressed Palestinian people is a human and moral duty, driven by faith and compassion.”

He expressed hope for a massive turnout in the capital Sana’a and in all provinces, districts, and public squares.

The Leader of the Revolution addressed the Yemeni people, saying:
“Your continued mass turnout every week with such great momentum is a form of jihad that will not be lost with Allah. It reinforces the values and meanings of faith and humanity.”
