Lebanese resistance blows up four Merkava tanks of Zionist enemy in occupied sout

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced today, Monday, that it blew up four Merkava tanks of the Zionist enemy while they were moving from the town of Taybeh towards the old Al-Sal‘a site in the town of Deir Seryan in southern Lebanon.

The resistance said in a statement:
“While the Israeli enemy forces were committing a new violation added to the series of its blatant and documented violations over 3 days since the ceasefire came into effect, and as a column consisting of eight armored vehicles was moving on Sunday 19-04-2026 from the town of Taybeh towards the old Al-Sal‘a site in the town of Deir Seryan, it was subjected to the explosion of a group of explosive devices previously planted in the المكان by the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance.”

It confirmed that the explosion, which occurred in two stages between 15:40 and 16:40, led to the destruction of 4 Merkava tanks, and fires were seen blazing in them before the enemy at 18:00 proceeded to withdraw them from the scene of the incident.

Media outlets had reported last Thursday evening, quoting US President Trump, the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon for ten days.
