Lebanese resistance fighters engage in fierce clashes with Israeli army, targeting its positions, settlements

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon reported on Tuesday that its fighters are engaged in fierce clashes with the Israeli army, targeting several of its troop concentrations, vehicles, and settlements in the occupied territories.

In ten separate statements obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Resistance detailed its operations, emphasizing that they are in defense of Lebanon and its people and within the framework of Operation Protective Edge.

In statement number 26, the Resistance stated that since noon today, its fighters have been engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces on the eastern outskirts of Bint Jbeil, using light and medium weapons, while simultaneously targeting them with rockets and artillery shells. The fighters targeted a Merkava tank with a direct missile strike, achieving a confirmed hit.

In statement 27, it added that, concurrently with the heroic clashes waged by the Islamic Resistance fighters on the eastern outskirts of Bint Jbeil, the fighters targeted enemy troop concentrations in the town of Maroun al-Ras, the vicinity of the Musa Abbas complex and the Liberation Triangle in Bint Jbeil, and the hills of Fariz and Ghadmatha in the town of Ainata with barrages of rockets and artillery shells.

In statements 28 and 29, it continued that at 2:50 PM, the fighters targeted concentrations of Israeli enemy vehicles and soldiers in the towns of Rashaf and Beit Leef with rocket barrages, and at 12:50 PM, they targeted concentrations of Israeli enemy vehicles and soldiers in the Taybeh project with rocket barrages and artillery shells.

In statement number 30, it was reported that at 1:00 PM, the resistance fighters targeted a Namera armored vehicle in the Taybeh project area with a drone, scoring a direct hit.

In statements 31 and 32, it was explained that at 1:10 PM, the resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in a house near the Taybeh project area with a drone, achieving a direct hit. At 12:30 PM, they targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers near the Khiam detention center with a rocket barrage.

In statement number 33, the Lebanese resistance noted that between 12:00 PM and 3:50 PM, it targeted the settlements of Kiryat Shmona (twice), Avivim, Yaroun, Zar’it (twice), and Beit Hillel with rocket barrages.

In statements 34 and 35, it was confirmed that at 2:30 PM and 3:50 PM, the resistance fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli enemy soldiers at the Metula outpost with rocket barrages, and at 1:30 PM, they targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers at the Misgav Am outpost with a rocket barrage.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues its operations in response to the escalation of Israeli aggression since March 2nd.
