Lebanese Resistance strikes Israeli positions in occupied south

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced Thursday that it targeted Israeli bases, artillery positions, and troop gatherings in southern Lebanon.

According to four statements, the attacks included rocket strikes on Amiyad and Philo bases, drone assaults on artillery positions in Khirbat Ma‘ar, artillery fire on troops in Shama, and a drone strike on a Merkava tank in Qantara.

The resistance said the operations are in defense of Lebanon and its people amid escalating Israeli aggression since March 2, 2026.
