Under the slogan “Steadfast with Palestine… and Mobilized Against the Aggression, Siege, and Fabrication of the Saudi Enemy,” the Yemeni people staged a massive million-strong march in the capital Sana’a and other governorates on Friday afternoon.
The march affirmed the steadfastness of the position on the path of liberation for Palestine and Yemen and support for all the oppressed.
In the million-strong march, the Yemeni People affirmed their rallying around the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi in all the options he declares in confronting the Saudi enemy and its American and Zionist patrons.
The Yemeni people declared general mobilization to proceed with all deterrence options, blessing the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces deep inside the Saudi enemy, as well as the operations targeting enemy mobilizations on internal fronts.
Participants noted that Yemen takes the Palestinian cause as its compass for which it undertakes all struggles and confronts all challenges on the path of supporting it. They renewed the pledge to Palestine—land, people, and sanctities—that Yemen of Wisdom and Faith will remain true to the covenant until the Zionist entity is eliminated from the region.
Continued Support for Palestine and Confronting Saudi Aggression
The million-strong march issued a statement in which the Yemeni people affirmed that they came “to affirm supporting and backing the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and its sanctities, foremost among them Mecca, Medina, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
The statement directed “a call to the Arab and Islamic nation to take firm positions toward all the conspiracies woven by the Saudi enemy with the Zionists against our nation and its sanctities.”
It noted that the million-strong turnout also comes “to affirm continuation in consolidating the equation of siege for siege and escalation for escalation and striking Saudi enemy mobilizations until the aggression is ended, the siege and injustice are lifted.”
The statement said the popular positions of Yemen remain true to the covenant and promise in supporting the Palestinian people since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation until today.
The statement explained that that historic operation “sorted people and positions between truthful and liar, explicit believer and explicit hypocrite, and infidels unable to cover their disbelief and ugliness.” We are at the forefront of the peoples of our nation in adhering to the option of jihad and resistance, and with us are all the Axis of Jihad and Resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and the Islamic Republic of Iran. We are more cohesive and cooperative in confronting the scheme of changing the so-called ‘Middle East’ and establishing ‘Greater Israel.'”
It also blessed “our Armed Forces for their effective strikes in various directions, whether toward the Saudi enemy’s oil facilities that fund the aggression and siege on our country, or the imposition of an air blockade on its airports, which is a legitimate and deserved punishment in kind, as well as striking and targeting Saudi enemy mobilizations in various directions and expelling them from our country.”
It also renewed the affirmation that the people “support our Armed Forces with more strikes and operations until all the just and legitimate demands of our people are achieved, and its arrogant, tyrannical oppressors are deterred.”
In conclusion, the Yemeni people stressed “categorical rejection of the ongoing Saudi fabrication against us about targeting the sanctities, which is a scratch on the honor of our belonging to Islam and its sanctities.”
The million-strong march in Sana’a, held on the anniversary of the October 7 Al-Aqsa Flood operation, serves to reaffirm Yemen’s commitment to the Palestinian cause and to demonstrate popular support for the Armed Forces’ military campaign against Saudi Arabia.
The march comes amid ongoing Saudi escalation against Yemen, with over 1,576 airstrikes since the beginning of the recent escalation. Yemen has responded with missile and drone strikes on Saudi airports, oil facilities, and military bases, and has imposed an air blockade on Saudi Arabia.
