Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on international community to condemn crimes committed against Yemeni people

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in the strongest terms the crime of the Saudi regime targeting a citizen’s home in Al-Ma’afir District, resulting in the martyrdom of three women and an elderly man, and the injury of three others.

The ministry affirmed in a statement issued by it that these ongoing crimes will not pass without response and punishment.

It pointed out that targeting civilians and civilian objects is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and all international norms, covenants, and laws, and also reflects the moral downfall of the Saudi regime, and confirms its attempt to compensate for its failure on the battlefield by shedding the blood of innocent civilians.

The ministry criticized the silence of the international community toward the crimes of the Saudi regime, noting that those who mouth human rights remain silent toward the crimes and suffering to which the Yemeni people are subjected.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by calling on the international community to break its silence and condemn the crimes committed against the Yemeni people and bring their perpetrators to justice so they receive their just punishment.
