Ministry of Foreign Affairs: We encourage Saudi regime to take brave decision to cease aggression, lift blockade, & end illegal activities in Yemen
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed its encouragement for the Saudi regime to take a brave and wise decision to cease aggression, lift the blockade, and end all illegal activities in Yemen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out in a statement issued that this decision is not costly and its effects will be positive for both countries.
The statement noted that the Saudi regime’s awareness of the nature of the changes would assist it in adopting the path of peace and ceasing its aggression on Yemen, explaining that the Saudi regime’s incorrect reading of the changes—that they would serve its hostile projects in Yemen—has already caused it harm, and its loss in the future will be greater.
The statement said, “Allah’s law in change does not serve the aggressor and criminal parties, but rather serves the oppressed peoples,” affirming that the Yemeni people continue to suffer as a result of the continued blockade and confiscation of the country’s wealth by the Saudi regime.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded the statement by renewing the call to the Saudi regime, urgently, to implement the agreed-upon deliverables, foremost among them the humanitarian file, as an inherent right that cannot be postponed or delayed.
