Mohammed Abdul Salam: aggressive raid on Sana’a international airport is reminder of Saudi Arabia’s insistence on keeping It closed
In a statement , the head of the national delegation said: “The aggressive raid on Sana’a International Airport served to remind those who had forgotten that Saudi Arabia insists on keeping the airport closed and that it will only be opened with royal permission, while issuing a statement declaring that it is defending Yemeni sovereignty.”
He added, “This is how Israel behaves in its wars of aggression, and Saudi Arabia is just like Israel in everything: lies, arrogance, hatred, and aggression.”
Abdul Salam pointed out that hiding behind data and unjust UN resolutions imposed by Saudi Arabia’s oil interests cannot obscure the glaring truth that an unjust blockade is being imposed on Yemen. This blockade is orchestrated by an aggressive kingdom that waged an eight-year war on Yemen, failed, and now seeks to compensate for its losses through economic sanctions.
He continued, “What Saudi Arabia must realize at this stage is that, through its miscalculation, it has made itself a clear enemy of Yemen, and its insistence on stubbornness and refusal to accept the truth will have serious consequences for it, its security, and its economy.”
The head of the national negotiating delegation emphasized that the naval blockade is merely the first step in a battle of siege by siege, stressing that the Yemeni people will not relinquish their rights and will pursue them by any means necessary.
