Official: Saudi Pressure Will Not Force Yemen to Submit or Abandon Sovereignty

Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, has affirmed that Yemen will not accept submission to Saudi pressures or compromise its sovereignty and land, stressing that attempts to subjugate the Yemeni people and push them to adopt positions serving the United States and the Zionist entity will not achieve their objectives.

In a series of posts on the “X” platform, Al-Farah explained that Saudi Arabia wants Yemenis to hand over their land and accept subordination to it, to the point of demanding they support its policies and positions, including statements supporting the Zionist entity against Gaza and the mujahideen. He considered that rejecting these orientations is met with campaigns of accusations, insults, and questioning of creed and national belonging.
He noted that these accusations include describing those who reject Saudi policies as rebels, coup plotters, and linked to Iran, alongside accusing them of enmity toward the Companions, the Sunnah, and the creed—in an attempt to distort their positions and divert attention from fundamental issues, foremost among them national sovereignty and the rejection of foreign interference.
Yemen Will Not Retreat
He stressed that these campaigns will not push Yemen to retreat from its position, affirming that Yemenis will not allow any part of their land to be seized and will not accept their country becoming subordinate to the United States or any external power. This is a reference to Sana’a’s adherence to independent national decision-making and its rejection of foreign guardianship.
The Ansarullah Political Bureau member criticized the approach of creating crises and involving others in confrontations serving Saudi orientations. He considered that Riyadh seeks to push other parties to bear the burdens of conflicts and interventions linked to its policies, instead of bearing the responsibility for its own choices and their repercussions.
He pointed to the relationship between the head of the Zionist entity’s government, the butcher Netanyahu, and the criminal US President Trump, considering that both seek to exploit Saudi Arabia in their political and electoral calculations by exerting pressure on it to push it toward normalization with the Zionist entity.
He stated that these pressures aim to achieve political and electoral gains for the criminals Netanyahu and Trump by investing the Saudi position in promoting their options. He considered that this reveals the extent to which regional relations are being exploited to serve American and Zionist electoral interests.
He explained that attempts to impose subordination on Yemen, or to use political and media pressures to change its positions, will not succeed in wresting its independent decision. He stressed that preserving the land, sovereignty, and rejection of submission to abroad represent a fixed line in the Yemeni position, and that accusations and propaganda campaigns will not change this equation.
Saudi Arabia is seeking to subjugate Yemen and to force it to abandon its sovereignty and support for Palestine. Armed Forces have consistently rejected Saudi pressures and have affirmed determination to maintain Yemen’s independence and territorial integrity.
