The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned in a post on its account on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), of the danger of the conflict expanding into unforeseeable consequences in the region.
The ministry stated that the Sultanate of Oman considers this action to be inconsistent with the rules of international law and the principle of resolving issues through peaceful means, not through hostile means and bloodshed.
It called on all parties to suspend military operations immediately.
It urged the United Nations Security Council to hold an urgent meeting to impose a ceasefire and for the international community to take a clear stance supporting international law.
The Sultanate of Oman affirmed the right of states to self-defense in accordance with international law.
At the same time, it called for restraint and adherence to diplomatic solutions.
