Foreign Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Ishaq Dar condemned the Zionist regime’s military aggression against Iran and expressed his country’s support for the Iranian people and government.
In a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart on Wednesday, Ishaq Dar declared Pakistan’s vehement condemnation of the Zionist regime’s military act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the Iranian people and government.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi expressed gratitude to Pakistan for the expression of solidarity with Iran.
He also briefed the Pakistani diplomat on the latest Israeli strikes on Iran’s public facilities, infrastructures, nuclear sites, residential areas, hospitals, medical centers, and the state broadcasting.
Araqchi denounced the “belligerent and expansionist” nature of the Zionist regime as the source of instability in the region.
The Iranian foreign minister stressed the need for the international community to condemn the blatant Israeli aggression against Iran and remind the UN Security Council of its responsibility to stop the aggressor and hold it accountable.
The senior Iranian and Pakistani diplomats further weighed plans for joint efforts to employ the capacities of the regional and international mechanisms and institutions to counter the dangerous trend of Israeli aggression and bellicosity.
The Iranian military forces have launched several rounds of retaliatory missile strikes against the Israeli targets since June 13 after the Zionist regime attacked Iran.
The Zionist regime’s unprovoked act of aggression and airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites have resulted in the martyrdom of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens, including some 50 women and children.
