Palestinian journalists forum: Escalating Israeli enemy targeting of journalists attempt to intimidate them

The Palestinian Journalists Forum affirmed on Wednesday that the escalating targeting of journalists by the Israeli enemy is a direct result of its impunity and a desperate attempt to intimidate journalists and prevent them from exposing the genocidal crimes it is committing.

In a statement, the Forum called on the International Federation of Journalists and international and human rights organizations to take immediate action to provide effective protection for journalists in the field and not to be satisfied with timid statements of condemnation, according to the Palestinian news agency Safa.

In its condolences for the three journalists targeted by the Israeli enemy today, the Forum affirmed that “the message of Palestinian journalism will not be silenced, and the blood of our colleagues will only strengthen our resolve to continue covering events and conveying the suffering of our people to the entire world.”
