Palestinian National Popular Action Body rejects U.S. “Guardianship” over Gaza

The Palestinian National Popular Action Body, representing independent conferences, organizations, and figures, rejected the U.S. plan to impose international oversight on Gaza through a transitional administration controlling security, reconstruction, and civil life.

In a statement Sunday, the body called the plan a clear violation of Palestinian self-determination and an attempt to impose a new form of colonialism. It stressed that any arrangements for Gaza must involve Palestinians themselves, preserving their historical rights, unity, and the legitimacy of resistance.

The statement also demanded that any international force in Gaza be neutral, with limited authority, and not act as a de facto administration. It urged all Palestinian factions and the public to reject external guardianship , express opposition peacefully, legally, and through media.

The body concluded by reaffirming its commitment to united popular action defending Palestinian rights and supporting resistance until full freedom is achieved.

The National Popular Action Body was launched at the Third Palestinian National Dialogue Forum for Palestinians Abroad, aiming to mobilize efforts, support resistance, and strengthen Palestinian resilience against occupation, annexation, and displacement.
