Parliament affirms Iran’s right to respond to U.S. threats

Parliament has condemned U.S. threats against Iran, affirming Tehran’s right to confront any aggression.

During a meeting in the capital Sana’a on Sunday, the parliament’s presidium described U.S. escalation in the region as a violation of international law and Iran’s sovereignty.

It expressed Yemen’s support for Iran and warned that continued escalation threatens regional and global security.

The presidium also condemned Israeli enemy attacks on civilians in Gaza, holding the United States responsible for its support of Israel’s actions.
