President Al-Mashat: We have full right to take measures to end Siege on our people after exhausting all peace efforts
President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, affirmed that the conduct of the Saudi regime in recent years and its insistence on maintaining the blockade on Yemen has proven that it has no genuine intention to achieve peace.
In a statement , President Al-Mashat said: “We have the full right to take whatever measures we deem necessary to end the siege on our great people, after all peace efforts over the past years have been exhausted.”
He stressed that no one has the right to legitimize what he described as an unjust siege imposed by the Saudi regime on the Yemeni people.
Al-Mashat added that any statements issued to justify the blockade and condemn Yemen’s position are drafted in the same manner, from a single source, and are financially motivated.
He said: “Those who adopt such condemnations should ask the Saudi regime to impose the measures taken against Yemen on their own countries.”
