Reuters: US Navy Refuses to Escort Ships in Strait of Hormuz

Reuters, citing informed sources, reported that since the start of the aggression against Iran, the US Navy has been rejecting almost daily requests from shipping companies for military escorts to transit the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that the risk of attacks is currently very high.

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, on Wednesday, US Navy assessments indicate a discrepancy with statements by the US president, who spoke of the United States’ readiness to provide naval escorts along this vital waterway.

On the morning of Saturday, February 28, the United States and Israel launched a new aggression against Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other infrastructure belonging to the Iranian people.

In response to this aggression, Iran launched Operation “True Promise 4” against Israel and American bases in the region.
