Revolution leader: Martyrdom of Sayyed Ali Khamenei is real loss to Islamic World

The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houth, extended his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy over the martyrdom of the eminent religious scholar and mujahid leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

In a speech delivered this evening on the occasion of Khamenei’s martyrdom, he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran had announced the martyrdom of the eminent divine scholar, the Guide and Imam of the Islamic Revolution, the great mujahid leader and blessed martyr Sayyed Ali al-Husseini Khamenei, may God be pleased with him, who was assassinated by the enemies of Islam and Muslims, the criminal tyrants of this era, the arrogant Americans and Israelis, in their treacherous aggression against the Muslim Iranian people.

He expressed condolences to Khamenei’s family, the Muslim Iranian people, all its official institutions, the mujahid Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the entire Islamic nation.

He noted that the Guide of the Islamic Revolution in Iran had rejected Zionist hegemony and domination and had supported the Palestinian cause and the peoples of the region, affirming that the aggression against Iran aims to enable the Israeli enemy to control the region and remove the greatest obstacle to achieving this objective.

He explained that the enemy seeks to eliminate Iran with its Islamic system and its jihadi, revolutionary, and liberationist orientation that rejects Zionist domination, supports the Palestinian cause, and backs the peoples of the region.

The Leader of the Revolution affirmed that the martyrdom of Khamenei represents a real loss to the Islamic world, stressing that the American and Israeli enemies’ commission of this heinous crime was intended to rid themselves of Khamenei’s significant role in confronting their tyranny and thwarting their conspiracies.

He said that targeting Khamenei was aimed at eliminating his leadership committed to just causes and the legitimate rights of the Islamic nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, indicating that targeting him was also intended to break the will of the Muslim Iranian people, its official institutions, and to shatter its morale.

He considered that his assassination comes within the context of Zionist-American objectives seeking to break the will of the Muslim Iranian people and its official institutions, undermine its morale, and use that to further pursue the subjugation of regimes and governments in the region and push them toward submission under Zionist dominance.

He added that the appropriate response of the Muslim Iranian people, its brave mujahid Revolutionary Guard, and its official institutions is loyalty to the pure blood of Khamenei and steadfastness on the path of freedom, dignity, and honor, and that his martyrdom should serve as a powerful impetus to continue the course with Husseini pride, faithful steadfastness, and Khomeini determination.

The Leader stated that this is a moment requiring the steadfastness, loyalty, patience, and devotion of the righteous scholars, affirming that the blood and sacrifices of the righteous leaders immortalize the jihadi and liberationist path and revive within the nation and all free people the spirit of sacrifice and determination.

He continued that Iran, since its Islamic Revolution, has pursued a path of sacrifice and liberation and has remained steadfast through all storms and hardships, and that the enemies will be disappointed by the failure of their objectives in committing this crime through the Iranian people’s steadfastness and adherence to the liberationist jihadi path.

He renewed his assertion that the choice before the peoples of the Islamic nation is to confront American and Israeli tyranny and to draw inspiration from these pure sacrifices with steadfastness, perseverance, and determination, as the options are either submission to American-Israeli tyranny with the loss of freedom, dignity, honor, religion, worldly life, and the hereafter, or reliance upon God Almighty, trust in His true promise, and confrontation of tyranny, with sacrifices made in the path of God and in service of sacred causes to achieve the promised victory from God Almighty.

He affirmed that Zionist and American criminality will not perpetuate the entity that is destined for disappearance in the Books of God, in the Torah and the Qur’an, and that the end of its tyranny is downfall and the inevitability of the explicit divine warning in the Holy Qur’an as stated, “If you return, We will return”.

He stressed that the peoples of the Islamic nation must place their trust in God Almighty and take the means of His victory, and that sacrifices should only increase them in resolve and steadfastness, “And upon God let the believers rely”.

He added that the Iranian position remains cohesive and steadfast, that the Iranian response is strong and ongoing, and that the Iranian people, the axis of resistance and jihad, and the free people of the world remain loyal to the great and pure sacrifices in steadfast adherence to the liberationist path and the just position, and that the ultimate outcome belongs to the righteous.

O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings and bestowed grace upon Abraham and the family of Abraham; indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, be pleased with his righteous and chosen companions, and with all Your righteous servants and the mujahideen.

Allah the Almighty said in the Holy Qur’an: “And do not think of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and receiving good tidings about those who have not yet joined them from behind them—that there will be no fear upon them, nor will they grieve. They receive glad tidings of favor from Allah and bounty, and that Allah does not allow the reward of the believers to be lost.” Allah the Most High has spoken the truth. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.

At this moment, we extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to his noble family, to the Muslim Iranian people, to all its official institutions, to the mujahid Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and to the entire Islamic nation over this grave loss, which is a real loss to the Islamic world.

The decision of the enemies of the Islamic nation, the tyrants of this era, the Americans and Israelis, to commit this heinous crime was aimed at eliminating the great role of the noble martyr, the Guide of the Islamic Revolution, may Allah be pleased with him, in confronting their tyranny, foiling their conspiracies, and leading the Islamic system within its global role in supporting the oppressed and presenting a civilizational Islamic model free from the control of arrogant tyranny, committed to just causes and the legitimate rights of our Islamic nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause. It was also intended to break the will of the Muslim Iranian people and its official institutions and to shatter their morale, and to further exploit this in seeking to subjugate regimes and governments in the region and push them toward submission and surrender under Zionist domination.

The proper stance of the Muslim Iranian people, its brave mujahid Revolutionary Guard, and its official institutions is loyalty to his pure blood and steadfastness on the path of freedom, dignity, and pride. The martyrdom of this great mujahid Islamic symbol, the eminent scholar and exceptional wise leader, the blessed martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei, may Allah be pleased with him, should serve as a powerful impetus to continue the path with Husseini pride, faithful steadfastness, and Khomeini determination.

This is a moment that calls for the steadfastness of the righteous scholars, their loyalty, patience, and devotion, as Allah said about them in the Holy Qur’an: “And how many a prophet fought, and with him fought many devoted believers. They did not weaken for what befell them in the way of Allah, nor did they falter or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast. And their only words were, ‘Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our excess in our affairs, make firm our feet, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people.’ So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good.”

The blood and sacrifices of the righteous leaders immortalize the jihadi and liberationist path and revive within the nation, and in the hearts of all free people, the spirit of sacrifice and determination.

Since its Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic has followed this path from the beginning and has remained steadfast through all storms and hardships. The disappointment of the enemies will come through the failure of their objectives in committing this crime, through the steadfastness of the Iranian people and its official institutions and their adherence to the liberationist and jihadi path.

The choice before the peoples of our Islamic nation is to confront American and Israeli tyranny and to draw inspiration from these pure sacrifices with steadfastness, perseverance, and determination. The options are either for the nation to submit and surrender to American-Israeli tyranny, thereby losing its freedom, dignity, honor, religion, worldly life, and hereafter, or to rely upon Allah Almighty, trust in His true promise, confront tyranny, and make sacrifices in the path of Allah and in service of its sacred causes to achieve the promised victory from Allah Almighty, as He said, “And it was incumbent upon Us to grant victory to the believers.”

Zionist-American criminality will not perpetuate the entity that is destined for disappearance in the Books of Allah, in the Torah and the Qur’an. The end of its tyranny is downfall and the inevitability of the explicit divine warning in the Holy Qur’an, as Allah the Almighty said, “If you return, We will return.”

Therefore, the peoples of our Islamic nation must trust in Allah, take the means to attain His victory, and let sacrifices increase them only in resolve and steadfastness. “And upon Allah let the believers rely.”

The Iranian position remains cohesive and steadfast, the Iranian response is strong and ongoing, and the Iranian people, the axis of resistance and jihad, and the free people of the world remain loyal to the great and pure sacrifices in steadfast adherence to the liberationist path and the just stance. The ultimate outcome belongs to the righteous. Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. There is no power and no might except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
