Role of Leadership in stability renaissance of people: Yemen as model

Throughout history, leadership has been the decisive force that can either lead peoples toward development and prosperity, or push them toward collapse and destruction.

Examples of this are numerous: Hitler led his country toward destruction, Vladimir Putin spared Russia from disintegration and destruction, and Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi led Yemen toward stability.

A unique leader is one who possesses the ability to manage and direct masses toward creative action. Then, the masses voluntarily respond to the leader’s directives.

Wise leadership possesses a vision for the future and plans for the development of the country with a scientific and realistic outlook, avoiding the pitfalls and pitfalls that may hinder its path toward construction and development.

The unprecedented mass demonstrations in the capital, Sana’a, and the provincial capitals did not come out of nowhere.

Rather, they affirm the masses’ conviction in the soundness of the leadership’s vision for governing the country and their absolute submission to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, in leading the jihad and development process and placing the country in its rightful place among the nations of the world.

The truth is that leadership is not merely a responsibility; it is a gift from Allah, bestowed upon whomever He wills among His servants. It is characterized by unique qualities that distinguish its bearer from others.

When these qualities are present in a leader, the masses’ submission to him becomes voluntary and absolute, and the leader then becomes the compass toward which all segments of society steer.

Leadership plays a prominent role in the development or setbacks of societies. The cohesion of the internal front, the consolidation of security and stability, and the effective confrontation of the aggression launched by colonial powers against the country have all been a logical result of the shrewd leadership represented by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, who has governed the country rationally and with a vision for the future, sparing it many pitfalls.

Yemen was in dire need of a national leadership armed with a national will to lead the way. Now, we can say that a national leadership and a national will have been established in the country, which has brought about cohesion on the internal front and laid the foundations for confronting aggression on the one hand, and working to achieve comprehensive and sustainable national development on the other.
