Sana’a, Other Provinces Hold Mass Friday Rallies, Vowing Readiness Against Israeli Enemy

Following Friday prayers, districts within the capital Sana’a and other provinces witnessed mass popular rallies under the slogan “Readiness and preparedness… mobilization continues.”

Participants declared a state of high alert and readiness to confront “[US-Israeli] enemies, their tails, and their agents,” and to counter what they described as criminal conspiracies targeting the homeland and the Arab and Islamic nation. Chants focused on mobilization, jihad, and support for the Palestinian people, alongside slogans condemning ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank.

The gatherings renewed the participants’ mandate for the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, and affirmed a steadfast stance in supporting the “oppressed” and the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian issue.

A statement issued from the rallies accused the “Zionist enemy” of procrastination and reneging on its commitments within the ceasefire agreement to exacerbate the suffering of the Palestinian people. It further condemned the continued Israeli blockade preventing shelter materials from entering Gaza and the closure of the Rafah crossing, condemning Egyptian complicity.

The statement denounced ongoing Israeli crimes in the West Bank and the continued “desecration” of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by “settlers.”

It included broad criticism of “global Zionism,” accusing it of waging a “soft war of misguidance and corruption” that has subjugated most regional regimes and peoples, diverted the nation’s wealth, turned its countries into military bases, and emptied its peoples of their human, moral, and Islamic content.

The statement concluded by reaffirming unwavering support for Gaza and Hezbollah, and called on the women of Yemen and the nation to emulate Sayyedah Fatimah al-Zahra, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH&F. The event underscores the public mobilization to reinforce ideological narratives and maintain a posture of confrontation against the Israeli enemy and its allies.

Large-scale Friday demonstrations are a regular occurrence in Yemen. These rallies serve to demonstrate public support for the leadership’s political and military stances, reinforce domestic mobilization, and express solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
