Armed Forces Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree reported that Saudi-led coalition aircraft launched 66 airstrikes and missile attacks over the past 24 hours.
In a statement, Brigadier General Saree explained that the Saudi-led coalition’s strikes targeted civilian sites in the governorates of Al-Jawf, Taiz, Marib, Al-Hudaydah, Hajjah, and Sa’dah.
He noted that the attacks were carried out using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets, as well as armed reconnaissance drones taking off from bases in Khamis Mushait, Taif, and the King Faisal Naval Base, alongside missile strikes launched from Jizan and Najran, these attacks resulted in a number of civilian casualties—including fatalities and injuries—the majority of whom were women and children.
The Armed Forces spokesperson pointed out that the total number of Saudi-led coalition airstrikes and missile attacks since the start of the escalation against the country stands at 1,642.
