Saudi Artillery Shells Border Villages in Yemen’s Sa’adah

Saudi forces carried out an artillery attack on areas and villages in the Al Thabet district of Qataber, in Yemen’s northern Sa’adah province, on Friday morning, according to local sources.

The attack comes amid continued Saudi attacks on populated border areas, which have previously resulted in civilian casualties and damage to homes and private property.

According to a correspondent in Sa’adah, Al Thabet is among the border areas that have repeatedly come under systematic Saudi attacks, including artillery shelling of residential areas that has killed and wounded civilians.

Various border districts of Sa’adah continue to face recurring attacks by Saudi forces, including artillery fire and direct targeting, leaving residents living under persistent insecurity and heightened tensions along the border.
