The US-based SharePost website has reported an escalation in cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the Israeli enemy, describing it as part of a covert joint effort aimed at curbing ongoing operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces. The report said that the two sides have strengthened their ties amid rapidly unfolding regional developments.
According to the website, Saudi Arabia has moved toward a secret strategic alliance with the Israeli enemy as both sides seek to address developments in Yemen, particularly following the Yemeni Armed Forces’ recent advances in Hays, Khokha, Mokha, and the Bab al-Mandab area.
SharePost stressed that the developments along the Bab al-Mandab coast pose a strategic challenge to both the entity and Riyadh given the waterway’s importance to maritime traffic and the security and economic interests linked to the Red Sea.
The report pointed out that the situation around Bab al-Mandab has prompted Saudi Arabia and the Israeli enemy to increase coordination in an effort to contain Yemeni operations and limit their impact on interests connected to the Red Sea.
It also linked the escalation in attacks targeting civilians to the growing Saudi-Israeli cooperation, presenting the reported coordination as part of a broader regional shift.
The website further said that the developments along Yemen’s western coast have created a new strategic equation for Saudi Arabia and the Israeli enemy, pushing them toward closer covert military and security coordination to counter Yemeni operations, including attacks targeting Saudi territory and developments around Bab al-Mandab.
The reported Saudi-Israeli coordination comes amid heightened tensions surrounding the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, a vital maritime chokepoint connecting the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden. The waterway has become increasingly central to regional security calculations as Yemeni military operations have affected the strategic and economic interests of countries launching aggression against Yemen.
