Israeli enemy media revealed today, Sunday, the suicide of a senior officer in the Israeli enemy army months ago, after he demanded to stop the war on Gaza.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that the officer who committed suicide was a senior officer in the army and one of the most veteran drone operators in the Israeli enemy army.
It clarified that the officer committed suicide months ago, and that military censorship still refuses to reveal his name.
Recent data published by the Knesset Information Center a few days ago revealed that the phenomenon of suicide among soldiers of the Israeli enemy army is witnessing a worrying increase, as it was found that 279 soldiers attempted suicide between January 2024 and June 2025, meaning that for every soldier who committed suicide, there were seven others who attempted to end their lives, according to the Israeli enemy channel Kan.
The channel described this number as a dangerous indicator of the rising psychological pressures among reserve soldiers and fighters, pointing out that this phenomenon requires close follow-up by the army enemy leadership.
Statistics indicate that from 2017 until July 2025, 124 Israeli soldiers have committed suicide – 68% of them in mandatory service, 21% in active reserve service, and 11% in permanent service – reflecting the spread of the phenomenon across all categories of soldiers without exception.
