Taiz Governor: Most roads reopened & secured, Saudi forces expelled from 11 Districts

Taiz Governor Ahmed Al-Masawi said the armed forces, in cooperation with local residents, had expelled Saudi forces , reopened and secured most roads closed earlier this month.

He told Saba that only Al-Qasr–Al-Kamb–City road remained closed out of 19 roads previously declared closed, urging its reopening for civilians.

The Haifan–Tur Al-Baha and Al-Qubaita–Tur Al-Baha roads were partially reopened during daylight hours on Tuesday, with hopes they would remain accessible day and night in the coming days.

Al-Masawi said attempts to disrupt public life and restrict residents had failed, adding that roads in 11 districts had been reopened and secured and Saudi forces expelled through cooperation between local residents and the armed forces.
