A student was killed and two children were injured in two Saudi airstrikes on Bani Hashish District in Sana’a Province on Monday, according to a local source.
The source said that the strikes hit the Beit Al-Laheida area in Suwan, killing one child and injuring two others.
Meanwhile, Saudi warplanes carried out renewed airstrikes on Sa’adah Province. A security source said three strikes targeted Sahar District, two hit Al-Safra District, and another struck Al Salem District.
The renewed attacks come amid a sharp escalation in the Saudi enemy’s campaign against Yemen, with strikes intensifying on Sana’a and several other provinces.
The escalation has coincided with Yemeni Armed Forces’ retaliatory missile and drone operations targeting Saudi military and energy facilities, including Aramco, raising the cost of the confrontation for Riyadh.
