Two Years of Yemeni Strikes Deep inside the Israeli Enemy

Over the past two years, Yemen has directed missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles deep into the occupied territories, reportedly overcoming some of the most advanced air-defense systems and striking a swath of targets from Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat)in the far south to Haifa in the north of the occupied Palestinian lands — passing through Ashkelon and the Negev and reaching the heart of the enemy in Jaffa.

A televised report by Al-Masirah Said the Yemeni Armed Forces have for two years carried out offensive operations inside the occupied Palestinian territories using advanced ballistic missiles and drones under banners the leadership has called the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad.

According to the report, the operations targeted both maritime and land military sites and have contributed to a wider security and economic escalation across the region, in addition to producing direct effects on the Zionist entity’s defensive lines.

Yemeni forces, the report added, have conducted high-precision missile and drone strikes against strategic and vital targets across the occupied geography — from Umm al-Rashrash in the south to Haifa in the north, via Ashkelon and the Negev and into Jaffa. The operations, it said, rely on the selection of sensitive targets that affect the enemy’s military and economic capabilities and on continuous development of missile and drone capabilities, including a series of weapons referred to as the “Palestine” missiles in various stages, among them a claimed second-generation “hypersonic” and a “splitting” variant.

Yemeni command statements described the campaign as phased and deliberate — presented as support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and implemented in five announced stages — and said the strikes have imposed constraints on the Zionist entity’s maritime security, affected its economy in part, and forced frequent civil defense alerts and sheltering in some areas.

The Yemeni leadership, the report quoted, has framed the confrontation as having no red lines against the Zionist entity’s aggression, pledging to employ all available weapons to maximize pressure on the enemy while racing to further develop capabilities under siege conditions. It stressed continued commitment to supporting the Palestinians while maintaining the operational and deterrent capacities of Yemeni forces.

Through these operations, Yemen says it has demonstrated the ability to carry out precise, long-range strikes inside enemy territory, to develop rocket and drone systems with advanced features, and to impose economic and security challenges on the Zionist entity. The leadership promised further systematic escalation and additional phases, asserting that Yemeni resolve will not be broken and that capability development will continue at an accelerating pace.

The two-year campaign of strikes and drone operations, the report concluded, marks an evolution toward an integrated strategy combining missile power and modern tactics, framed by Yemeni authorities as sustained support for the Palestinian cause and as a model of Yemen’s growing deterrent and pressure tools amid regional repercussions.

Since October 2023, Yemen has declared open confrontation with the Zionist entity in support of the Palestinian people amid the war on Gaza. The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out missile, drone, and naval operations targeting Israeli and allied interests in the Red Sea and deep inside occupied Palestine. These actions, coordinated within the “axis of resistance,” aim to pressure the enemy, disrupt its security and trade routes, and reinforce Yemen’s declared commitment to defending Gaza.
