War Media on Tuesday released significant footage showing the expulsion of Saudi aggression forces from the strategic “Jabal Han” (Mount Han), located west of the city of Taiz.
The footage documents the details of the operation, which began with an intense artillery barrage, followed by tank fire and comprehensive, tightly coordinated suppressive fire.
The footage also captures the moment the armed forces stormed the summit of the strategic mountain and its connected ridgeline, driving out the Saudi-led coalition forces stationed there. Several enemy combatants were captured, and a quantity of weapons, ammunition, and equipment was seized.
The strategic importance of controlling this mountain lies in its role in protecting the city’s primary supply route—the “Al-Dhabab Road”—while simultaneously severing the supply and infiltration lines of any hostile forces. Furthermore, it provides the forces stationed there with a tactical advantage for managing military operations across the entire western sector of the governorate, while securing its strategic depth.
