Yemeni Armed Forces Deny Targeting Saudi Territory, Call Medina Claims a ‘Great Fabrication’

The Yemeni Armed Forces denied on Thursday carrying out any targeting operation toward Saudi territory, affirming that what the Saudi enemy is promoting regarding the targeting of Medina has no basis in truth.

In a brief statement on Thursday, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said: “The Armed Forces confirm that they did not carry out today any targeting operation toward Saudi territory.”
The spokesman added that what the Saudi enemy claims regarding targeting toward Medina is a “great and massive fabrication,” denying the validity of the allegations circulating in this regard.
The statement comes in the context of clarifying the Yemeni Armed Forces’ position regarding what Saudi authorities announced concerning claims of targeting Medina.
The Yemeni Armed Forces’ denial comes amid repeated Saudi claims that Yemen has targeted Islamic sanctities, including Mecca and Medina. Yemen has consistently denied these claims, characterizing them as fabrications aimed at rallying international and Islamic support against Yemen and justifying continued aggression.
