Yemeni Armed Forces Target Aramco Refinery in Jizan in Response to Saudi Violations

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they had targeted the Aramco refinery in Jizan with a drone, saying the operation is a response to Saudi violations of Yemeni airspace.

In a brief statement, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e said the refinery was struck accurately by a drone.

Sare’e said the operation was carried out in response to the Saudi enemy’s drones violating the airspace of Yemen’s Sa’adah and Hajjah provinces.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly warned of a response to any violations of Yemeni airspace by Saudi drones, stressing that they would continue to respond militarily to any violations of Yemen’s sovereignty.
