Yemeni Armed Forces to Issue Major Statement Tomorrow

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they will issue a statement on Monday to unveil an “important position” that reflects the aspirations of the Yemeni people, without providing further details.

The announcement comes a day after millions of Yemenis gathered in Sana’a’s Al-Sabeen Square and across several governorates in large-scale rallies, where participants renewed their support for the country’s leadership.

During the demonstrations, crowds authorized Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi to take the necessary measures to break the blockade and end the Saudi aggression and occupation of Yemen. The anticipated statement is expected to clarify the Armed Forces’ position following the nationwide demonstrations.

In his televised address, Sayyed Abdulmalik declared that Yemen would no longer accept the continuation of a policy of blockade and economic pressure, announcing new deterrence formulas including “siege for siege,” “airport for airport,” and “port for port.”

He warned that any comprehensive Saudi escalation would be met with a comprehensive Yemeni response, signaling the end of the de-escalation phase that has largely been in place since 2022 and the beginning of a new stage of confrontation unless the blockade is lifted.
