A Yemeni military source said that operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces using the locally developed Rajum drone had foiled the Saudi enemy’s plans for escalation.
In remarks to the Yemeni News Agency SABA, the source said that footage released by Yemen’s Military Media showed operations targeting sensitive and precise objectives, disrupting Saudi preparations and ongoing arrangements for a potential ground battle.
The military source renewed a call for Yemenis living in occupied territories not to become involved in Saudi mobilization efforts aimed at drawing them into ground fighting and preventing the Yemeni people from pursuing their legitimate rights.
In a related development, a senior military source said that the Rajum drone was domestically manufactured and formed part of Yemen’s unmanned aerial systems, describing it as distinct from similar drones used elsewhere.
The source said further details about the drone would be revealed at an appropriate time, adding that the Yemeni Armed Forces possessed additional capabilities and surprises that would be announced according to battlefield requirements and developments on the ground.
Earlier, Yemen’s Military Media released footage showing several drone operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces across a number of battlefronts. The strikes targeted Saudi enemy gatherings and military vehicles.
