Zionist Occupation Continues Targeting Civilians in Gaza

Zionist occupation forces continued their violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement for the 330th consecutive day, using artillery shelling, gunfire and military vehicle movements across several parts of the Strip, while maintaining the blockade and restrictions on the entry of aid and essential supplies.

Since dawn Friday, five new violations of the truce signed on October 10, 2025, have been recorded across Gaza. The violations left one Palestinian martyred and several others wounded amid continued gunfire, artillery shelling and military movements by occupation forces.

Palestinian media reported that Fadi Al-Abadleh was martyred by occupation gunfire in Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, while three Palestinians, including a child, were wounded by Zionist gunfire in Hamad City, northwest of the city. Southern Khan Younis also witnessed an escalation, with occupation tanks opening heavy fire.

Zionist military vehicles also moved actively around Bani Suheila roundabout from the early morning hours, accompanied by sustained gunfire and explosive and smoke shells, heightening fear among residents, particularly those living near occupation deployment lines.

In Gaza City, eastern areas came under artillery fire and gunfire from occupation vehicles, continuing the repeated violations recorded across the Strip since the ceasefire took effect.

The developments came despite US President Donald Trump’s announcement on July 31, 2026, of a “new agreement” to begin the second phase of the roadmap for Gaza. However, conditions on the ground continue to show military operations and ceasefire violations, raising growing questions over the agreement’s future.

On Thursday, four Palestinians, including two who succumbed to their wounds, were martyred and others wounded in 18 Zionist violations of the truce, according to reports from Gaza.

More than two million Palestinians in Gaza continue to face severe humanitarian conditions amid widespread destruction of homes, residential areas, vital facilities and infrastructure, as well as ongoing displacement and growing shortages of basic necessities.

Military violations and restrictions on humanitarian aid have further aggravated the crisis, particularly given the scale of destruction left by the prolonged war and the urgent need for food, medicine, drinking water, shelter materials and rehabilitation of vital infrastructure.

The continued attacks demonstrate that the ceasefire, despite reducing the intensity of military operations, has not ended Palestinians’ suffering in the Strip. Repeated violations and the lack of sufficient guarantees on the ground continue to undermine efforts to consolidate the truce and improve humanitarian conditions.

The violations come against the backdrop of the broader war waged by the Zionist occupation on Gaza since the October 7 operation, which has resulted in large numbers of martyrs and wounded and extensive destruction of homes, hospitals, schools, service facilities, water and electricity networks, and roads.

Despite successive announcements of de-escalation and ceasefire agreements, attacks and violations have continued on the ground, leaving Gaza unstable and hindering efforts to consolidate the truce and improve living conditions.

The continued shelling and gunfire across Gaza underscore that political agreements alone cannot end the suffering of civilians without clear measures to halt attacks, ease restrictions on movement and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid and essential supplies into the Strip.

As political efforts continue toward further stages of the truce, Palestinian civilians in Gaza remain trapped in harsh conditions, with daily violations continuing while the occupation maintains a military and humanitarian reality that deepens the catastrophe facing the Strip.

The latest violations come amid a prolonged ceasefire marked by recurring Zionist military attacks, restrictions on humanitarian aid and continued destruction across Gaza. Despite successive efforts to advance the truce and its second phase, Palestinian civilians continue to face displacement, shortages of essential supplies and persistent insecurity.
