The spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian armed forces, Colonel Ibrahim Zolfaghari, revealed on Monday Iran’s response to the American offer to halt the war for 45 days.
Zolfaghari said in a post on X monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “Iran’s response consists of 10 clauses and includes affirming the rejection of a ‘temporary truce’ and insisting on the necessity of a permanent end to the war, taking into account its observations.”
He added: “Iran’s response includes demands such as ending wars in the region, establishing a protocol for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, reconstruction, and lifting sanctions.”
He pointed out that the Iranian response comes after the developments of Saturday and Sunday in the western and central regions of Iran and the disastrous failure of the American landing.
On February 28, the United States and the Zionist entity launched a new aggression on Iran, which has killed hundreds of civilians and targeted schools, hospitals, mosques, and other vital resources of the Iranian people.
In response to the aggression, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 against the Zionist entity and US bases in the region.
