Colonel Ebrahim Zulfiqari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Army, said on Thursday that the conditions for a ceasefire between Iran and the United States are clear and explicit, stressing that the US must choose between a ceasefire or continuing the war through the Israeli entity, and that it cannot have both. He explained this in two posts on the “X” platform, which were monitored by the news agency. The Yemeni news agency Saba reported that “the world is witnessing the massacres in Lebanon. The ball is now in the United States’ court, and the world is waiting to see if it will fulfill its commitments.”
Zulfiqari emphasized that “the continued bombing of Lebanon will be met with a devastating response deep inside enemy territory. A warning has been given, and further aggression will bring all targets within range.”
Yesterday, Wednesday, less than ten hours after the ceasefire agreement with Iran was announced, Israeli forces launched extensive airstrikes on several Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut, Sidon, and Baalbek. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, these attacks resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, with a large influx of injured people to hospitals.
