30 Palestinians Killed, Wounded in Continued Zionist Attacks on Gaza
The Israeli enemy continued its attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, carrying out a series of airstrikes and bombardments that left at least 30 Palestinians killed or wounded since the morning, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.
In one of the deadliest incidents, five members of the same family—a father, mother, and their three children—were killed and 10 others injured after a Zionist airstrike targeted a residential apartment in the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City.
Hamas Condemns Silence of Mediators and UN
Hamas condemned the attack, describing the bombing of the apartment as a deliberate war crime.
In a statement, the movement said the strike formed part of the Israeli enemy’s ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, accusing the occupation of acting with complete disregard for international law, United Nations resolutions, and the international community.
Hamas also criticized the unjustified silence and inaction of international mediators and the United Nations, saying the Israeli enemy continues its military campaign under the cover of the ceasefire agreement while mediators focus pressure on the Palestinian resistance instead of compelling the occupation to honor its commitments.
Elsewhere in Gaza, a Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Furusiyya area northwest of Gaza City, while another was seriously wounded by Israeli fire in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The latest casualties followed earlier attacks that killed eight Palestinians, including three children, and wounded several others, bringing the day’s total toll to at least 30 people killed or injured.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, hospitals in the Strip received the bodies of 19 martyrs and 60 wounded people over the previous 48 hours. The ministry said the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire came into effect had risen to 1,144, with 3,703 others injured.
The ministry added that the overall death toll since the start of the Zionist war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, had reached 73,269 martyrs, with 173,811 people wounded.
Occupation forces also continued demolishing residential buildings east of Khan Younis and carried out additional demolitions in the same area. Airstrikes destroyed another home south of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza and a separate house north of Al-Qarara, causing extensive damage to surrounding residential properties.
The latest attacks come despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025 and has been repeatedly violated by the Israeli enemy. The occupation is continuing military operations, airstrikes, and restrictions on humanitarian access while failing to implement key provisions of the agreement.
Hamas has repeatedly called on mediators and the United Nations to pressure the Israeli enemy to comply with its obligations, warning that continued violations and the lack of international accountability risk further undermining the ceasefire and worsening the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
