Yemeni Prime Minister Reaffirms Support for Gaza, Highlights Israeli Failures

Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahwi reiterated that Yemen, its leadership, government, and people, will not abandon support for their oppressed brothers in Gaza, regardless of the sacrifices or repercussions stemming from this principled, religious, and ethical stance.

Al-Rahwi stated that the recent Israeli aggression targets previously attacked sites and reflects the enemy’s intelligence failures in Yemen.

He emphasized that Israel lacks actionable intelligence or target databases, as Yemen has successfully eliminated agents, provocateurs, and saboteurs within its borders.

The Prime Minister noted that the Israeli enemy sought to exaggerate its attacks by striking Haziz power station and the Al-Sittin oil facility to project a false image of victory to its settlers, while in reality, these claims are deceptive.

He further highlighted that Yemen’s latest nuclear-capable missile, Palestin-2, instilled fear among the occupiers, with Israeli defenses failing to intercept it.

Al-Rahwi underscored that Yemen’s victories stem from historical legacy and wise leadership that meticulously plans each step to guide the nation toward success and triumph.

Finally, he urged those antagonistic toward Yemen, particularly Saudi Arabia, to reconsider their stance and adhere to the previously negotiated agreement to avoid further escalation.

The Israeli airstrikes on Sana’a came a day after Israeli media expressed growing concern over Yemen’s advancing missile capabilities, with air force sources suggesting Yemen may have deployed a multiple-warhead ballistic missile for the first time—a potential challenge to Israel’s missile defense systems.

Since late 2023, Yemen has intensified its operations in response to Israel’s war on Gaza and US-British support for it. These operations include missile and drone strikes deep inside occupied territories and a naval blockade targeting Israel-linked shipping.

Israeli strikes on Yemen have continued, but analysts and officials now concede they have failed to achieve deterrence, underscoring the resilience and expanding reach of Yemeni forces in the wider regional confrontation.
