Revolution leader: Yemen’s position with Gaza represents highest level of responsibility, not reckless or irrational
Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed on Thursday that Yemen’s position with the Palestinian people and its support for Gaza represents the highest level of responsibility, not reckless and frivolous.
In his speech regarding the latest developments in the aggression on the Gaza Strip and regional and international developments, the Leader said, “Yemen’s position represents the highest level of responsibility, the highest level of maturity and wisdom, and is guided by the standards of faith, morality, humanity, and religion. We are within the framework of a position that is jihad in the path of Allah, a strong, effective, and influential position against the enemy, and its effects are clear.”
He added, “The fact that the Yemeni position did not completely prevent and halt the aggression against Palestine does not diminish the importance of the position, nor does it constitute a justification for anyone to evade doing what they can.” He emphasized that the impact of the Yemeni position on Israeli entity is clear, established, and evident in reality, in terms of the blockade of maritime navigation, the losses it has already inflicted, and its strategic significance is recognized by everyone except the cheap and vile Zionist mouthpieces.
He continued, “With our position, we strive to build our reality, and the impact we have is clear. At the same time, it deserves our sacrifice for the sake of Allah. The alternative to our position is surrender to others, submission to them, and acceptance of shameful equations before those whom Allah has afflicted with humiliation and poverty.”
He continued, “Our position, thanks to Allah, deserves our sacrifice, perseverance, and steadfastness. With this position, we are free, honorable, and generous. We prove our freedom and that we have not submitted to American orders or Israeli dictates, nor have we surrendered to American and Israeli threats and attacks. We are standing in a position of freedom, pride, dignity, and jihad on the path to the pleasure of Allah Almighty.”
He pointed out that others are taking positions that serve their enemies, sacrificing their lives, money, and time, sacrificing their swords, tongues, money, and lives.
The Leader of the Revolution addressed Yemen’s steadfastness in the face of the Israeli and American enemy and the siege, and its great steadfastness stems from my faith in trusting in Allah and in Him Almighty. He emphasized that Yemen is on the support front in the “Promised Victory and Holy Jihad” battle, and that support operations have continued with military operations using missiles and drones.
He explained that operations on the Yemeni front this week involved 21 missiles and drones, including yesterday’s operation targeting the enemy in Umm al-Rashrash.
He pointed out that yesterday’s operation in Umm al-Rashrash was of great importance because it achieved a breakthrough in the Israeli enemy’s system, and this breakthrough continues, thanks to Allah Almighty. He explained that there are numerous and repeated operations, and that Israel has clearly failed to intercept drones and some missiles, in addition to their impact on the Israeli enemy’s position.
The Leader reiterated that the maritime ban on the Israeli enemy continues in the theater of operations extending from the Red Sea through Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden to the Arabian Sea. This week, a ship violating the ban was targeted.
He also addressed ongoing popular activities in Yemen at the universities of Sana’a, Hodeidah, Amran, Ibb, Al-Bayda, and various governorates, as well as mobilization-related activities, military parades, military marches, the graduation of additional batches, and training and qualification courses.
He stated that the million-strong Yemeni protest movement last week included 1,413 demonstrations and marches, stressing that Yemen’s position, thanks to Allah and His guidance, is at the highest level of responsibility and is neither reckless, futile, nor foolish.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi began his speech by discussing the latest developments in the Zionist aggression on Gaza, which is about to complete two full years of genocide against the Palestinian people. He pointed out that the Israeli enemy, with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, is intensifying its aggression against Gaza City, continuing its crimes of starvation, siege, and deprivation, with the suffering exacerbated by the assault on the Gaza Strip.
He said, “With the Jewish New Year, the Israeli enemy is intensifying its raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque and oppressing the people of Al-Quds, and is continuing its annexation of the West Bank with all forms of aggression.” He explained that the enemy’s attacks and crimes are noticeably concentrated on the city of Hebron, with the aim of completely controlling it because it is considered the second holiest city in Palestine.
He added, “The Israeli enemy is gradually seeking complete control of the West Bank, even though control already exists. However, it seeks complete occupation and continues its crimes, which have become evident throughout the world and are the subject of global condemnation from various countries.”
The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that the Israeli enemy persists in its aggression because it relies on the American role and American partnership. “Whenever countries and nations protest and feel ashamed as they watch the horrific level of Israeli criminality, the Americans take steps to support the enemy.”
He continued, “This week, the American enemy used its veto in the Security Council against a draft resolution calling for a ceasefire and the lifting of restrictions imposed by the enemy entity. As part of moral support for the enemy, there is a visit by 250 members of Congress, the largest ever, to affirm support for the enemy and its crimes.”
He praised the operations of the dear mujahideen in the Gaza Strip, who, despite their very limited capabilities, continue their heroic and jihadi bravery in confronting the Israeli enemy. He explained that Al-Qassam Brigades, Al-Quds Brigades, and other mujahideen factions have carried out a number of operations and continue to resist them with high effectiveness on various fronts of combat.
The leader pointed out that the mujahideen operations in Gaza have varied between sniping at enemy officers and soldiers, setting up ambushes, and detonating explosive devices and minefields targeting enemy vehicles and soldiers. He noted that the Israeli enemy often refers to traffic accidents to downplay the importance and effectiveness of the mujahideen operations and the direct losses they inflict.
He said, “This week, Al-Qassam Brigades carried out a bold operation, raiding a gathering of enemy soldiers and vehicles in the vicinity of the Sheikh Radwan Pool. Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades also carried out missile attacks on enemy forces in the south and west of Gaza, using locally made rockets.”
The Leader praised the Mujahideen’s operations in Gaza, which reflect the heroic, steadfast faith and the great steadfastness of the Mujahideen brothers in the Gaza Strip. He added, “What the Mujahideen are doing in Gaza is a powerful argument against the nation around them and the regimes that stabbed them in the back and colluded with the Israeli enemy against them.”
He continued, “At a time when the regimes are demanding the disarmament of their small and medium-sized weapons, America continues to provide the Israeli enemy with uninterrupted shipments of the most lethal weapons, while the complicit Arab regimes, instead of fulfilling their humanitarian, religious, and moral responsibilities, are demanding the disarmament of the Mujahideen.”
The leader explained that the Israeli enemy asserts that the reverse migration is unprecedented and a very important outcome of the Palestinian steadfastness, the steadfastness of the Mujahideen, and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people. He emphasized that the reverse migration means the flight of the occupying, usurping Zionist Jews, a situation that is ongoing, and a state of despair is spreading among them.
He pointed out that the Israeli enemy acknowledges that many career officers are seeking early retirement, and that there is a shortage of up to 12,000 soldiers due to desertion. Desertion has become a widespread phenomenon among the enemy, reflecting the impact of steadfastness and sacrifice in the Gaza Strip.
The Leader of the Revolution addressed the actions of the Israeli enemy in Lebanon, including its continued aggression with airstrikes and targeting of civilians, and the massacre of a family in Bint Jbeil and other areas. He emphasized that the Israeli enemy continues to burn forests on the front lines in several areas, intensifies its attacks on civilians in southern Lebanon, and continues bombing and demolishing homes in some villages along the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.
He considered the Israeli enemy’s attacks in Lebanon a complete violation of the agreement with the Lebanese state, adding, “The Lebanese government’s response does not seem to be on par with the Israeli attacks and violations, which are attacks on the Lebanese people and a violation of Lebanese sovereignty.”
The leader pointed out that the Lebanese government’s positions appear subservient, weak, and utterly unacceptable, instead implementing the dictates of the Israeli and American enemies. He emphasized that the Lebanese government’s foolish approach toward Hezbollah will never protect Lebanon or Lebanese sovereignty.
He stated that the Lebanese government is providing a free service to the Israeli enemy, one that will never yield any results for Lebanon’s interests. He stated, “What interest does Lebanon have in implementing the dictates of Lebanon’s enemy, which covets the occupation of Lebanon, continually aggresses against Lebanon, and has a history of significant aggression?”
Sayyed al-Houthi added, “The negative and detrimental tendencies of the Lebanese government are part of an effort to implement Israeli dictates, betraying its responsibilities toward Lebanon, its people, and its sovereignty,” emphasizing that relying on the international community is a losing bet.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi asked, “Has the international community offered anything for Palestine, Gaza, and Syria? And it will not offer anything regarding the situation in Lebanon.” He pointed out that there are extensive preparations by the resistance in Lebanon and Hezbollah to commemorate the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the martyr of Islam and humanity, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah be pleased with him).
He continued, “Allah willing, we will also pay attention to this anniversary, and we will talk about Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah be pleased with him), the martyr of Islam in every sense of the word, and the martyr of humanity. Sayyed Hassan, Hezbollah, and the resistance in Lebanon played a fundamental role in protecting the entire region from the American and Israeli project.”
He explained that the Middle East, where the American aggression failed in 2006 and was delayed by protection and deterrence, was a result of Hezbollah’s position and victory. He explained that Hezbollah was the nation’s impregnable fortress and bulwark at a time when some Arab regimes continued their intensive conspiracies with the Israeli enemy.
He pointed out that the Israeli enemy and its partners are clearly revealing to the nation the truth about their Zionist plans, explaining that some officials in the Lebanese government appear, logically, to be acting as clear, official, and overt agents of the Israeli enemy.
The Leader of the Revolution spoke about the Israeli enemy’s continued complete violation of Syria, while affirming the groups controlling Syria’s commitment to peace. He emphasized that the groups controlling Syria do not consider the Israeli enemy an enemy, but rather seek security agreements and coordination with it.
He addressed the fact that the groups controlling Syria seek to become part of the American system in the region, and that this will not benefit them in the future. Even if the groups controlling Syria sign security agreements with the Israeli enemy, they will consider this a pretext and a cover to justify any attacks.
The leader warned that the Israeli enemy is keen to achieve its “David’s Corridor” project, and that Syria is also part of the Zionist map to reach the Euphrates River, goals set by the Israeli enemy and shared with the Americans.
He addressed the continued persecution of minorities by the groups controlling Syria and pushing them into the arms of the Israeli enemy, emphasizing that this is taking place within the framework of the Zionist plan.
The Leader reviewed the statements of the US envoy to Syria and Lebanon, which express the official US position and policy, emphasizing that these statements are of great importance because they are completely clear and must be known to everyone.
He said, “The statements of the US envoy to Syria and Lebanon reflect the true American approach to Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and the entire region, especially since these statements indicate that Israel is a different story and an important strategic ally with a special place in the American heart.”
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that the US does not view any major interests it obtains from any Arab regime, no matter what it offers, works, or does, as an attempt to appease the US. He pointed out that the US viewpoint does not consider the services provided by Arab regimes and the services they provide to it in implementing plans and conspiracies to be comparable to the Israeli enemy.
He considered the US view of the countries in the region, which provide what they offer, to be nothing more than cash cows, as the US expressed, adding, “In contrast to Israel, the US has no interest in any alliances with any Arab party, as everyone considers them to be vulnerable to the Israeli enemy.”
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi explained that “peace with Israel,” described by the American envoy, is an illusory peace that the Arabs are chasing like a mirage. The American envoy said that there has been no peace in the past, and there will be no peace in the future. Listen, O Arabs, you normalizers, and be aware and understand if you still have the capacity to understand.
He continued, “The American envoy said that the conflict is not over borders, but rather the real conflict, and the end result is that one party seeks hegemony, which means that the other party must submit. What we constantly say is that the equation that the Americans and Israelis seek to impose on the entire region is one of violation, control, and hegemony.”
He added, “Whoever submits to the equation of violation relinquishes everything: their humanity, dignity, freedom, religion, and identity, in this world and the hereafter. What the Americans want, O Arabs and Muslims, was expressed with complete clarity and frankness by the American official during his visit to the region and his concern with its issues.”
He questioned, saying, “Such statements Shouldn’t there have been a reaction from the Arab governments responsible for this region? The American statements should have been extremely provocative and met with very strong responses from Arab officials, especially from Syria and Lebanon.
He considered the Lebanese reaction to the American envoy’s statements as astonishing and a confirmation of the equation of submission, emphasizing that the prevailing mood in Arab official circles is that the greatest provocations are expressed in statements and actions by the Israelis and Americans, who respond to them with humiliation, subservience, and complete indifference.
The Leader of the Revolution spoke about the American envoy’s justification for the Israeli aggression against Qatar, which he considered normal because it was part of a strategy the Americans seek to impose on the region. He also criticized the Egyptians and Saudis for not receiving the Palestinians and accepting the forced displacement of the Palestinian people to their countries.
He said, “The Egyptians and Saudis must prove their position of rejecting the displacement of the Palestinian people, regardless of the reasons and background of this position.” He emphasized that the American envoy belittled the declared international positions of many countries recognizing the two-state solution and mocked the countries that raised this issue, emphasizing The Israeli and American enemies are two sides of the same coin: Zionism.
Regarding the demonstrations in support of Gaza in Arab and Islamic countries, he indicated that demonstrations took place in limited areas in Bahrain, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, and Yemen. Demonstrations and protests in support of Gaza also took place in 19 countries in Europe, America, and other countries.
He added, “The Steadfastness Flotilla, with 43 ships, set sail from the ports of Spain, Italy, and Tunisia, and six other ships are scheduled to join it from Greece. The ship is awaiting government permission to sail in Egypt, and its activists are seeking to break the siege on the Gaza Strip.”
The leader pointed out that the issue of confiscating a very large area of Palestine for the Jews and a small, limited portion of Palestine to remain a formal, demilitarized Palestinian state, comes within certain limits and limits that serve Israeli interests.
The Leader of the Revolution explained that the recognition of the State of Palestine by some Western countries has been an issue at the United Nations since the beginning of the Israeli occupation.
He said, “The two-state solution means a formal, demilitarized state, whose relations with foreign countries are governed by Israeli interests. At the same time, in a small part of Palestine, the American position is clear and explicit. The Israeli position, likewise, does not leave Palestinians with a single olive tree on their farm or a single home. They are targeting the entire Palestinian people.”
He added, “The American and Israeli direction is clear beyond Palestine. They are merely trying to overcome what they consider an obstacle to their own existence, namely, Palestinian steadfastness, which is in the interest of the entire nation and must be supported by the entire nation, indeed by all of humanity.”
He pointed out that the Israeli enemy is confiscating universal human rights recognized throughout the world and wants to eliminate any of them. They want to impose the equation of the permissibility of everything.
He continued, “We must consider the recognition of the State of Palestine at its true level. It alone cannot offer the Palestinian people any hope of repelling the ongoing aggression against them. When some countries announce the recognition as the most support they can offer the Palestinian people, it is merely a cover for evading practical steps that could pressure the Israeli enemy.”
He went on to say, “The recognition of the State of Palestine could confuse the Israeli enemy and expose it in a state of political isolation to some extent, but not while some Western and Arab countries continue to support the Israeli enemy with various forms of support.”
The Leader expressed his regret over the continued cooperation of Arab regimes with the Israeli enemy—economically, intelligence-wise, and politically—in their overt hostility against the mujahideen in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
He said, “Whoever goes to the UN podium to offer addresses and then returns to send arms shipments to the enemy is blatantly concealing their cooperation with the enemy. Those who cover up for the enemy and remain silent about it find themselves embarrassed, and therefore they turn against the inalienable Palestinian right, which is recognized internationally.”
He added, “Some are using these steps as a cover for their continued cooperation with the Israeli enemy in dangerous ways, and there is a clear responsibility on the nation to take strong positions.”
He emphasized that the complaints in the speeches of the participants in the UN General Assembly regarding the crimes of the Israeli enemy cannot be relied upon by the nation to establish justice and equity. He cited the US President’s speech at the United Nations, which was clear and sufficient in revealing the reality of the current global situation.
He continued, “The US President boasted of American arrogance and power and said, ‘We are the strongest in the world, and this is our golden age.’ This is the logic upon which American policies are based.” He pointed out that there is a complete history of the Palestinian cause.
Mr. Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi asked, “What has the United Nations done in all that has happened over the past decades? Has it done anything for Palestine? What did the United Nations do during its session last year, when the Israeli aggression was at its peak?”
He addressed what the criminal Netanyahu said at the beginning of the Hebrew New Year and his declaration that this year is a year of aggression against the region, not just against Gaza, at the same time that the United Nations is holding its General Assembly. He explained that the United Nations has done nothing for Palestine in eighty years, a completely clear and universally recognized issue, without any ambiguity.
He described the clear approach of the Israeli enemy as explicit, stating that the issue is not limited to Gaza and Palestine, but rather encompasses the region within the framework of the equation of violation, emphasizing that the criminal Netanyahu’s statement expresses a clear aggressive approach from the Israeli enemy as well.
He considered the Israeli blackmail of Egypt regarding the gas deal, under which the Israeli enemy receives $35 billion from Egypt, a truly terrible disaster, asking, “Why do the Arab regimes choose to link their economic and living conditions to the Israeli enemy?”
He said, “It is a clear and obvious strategic mistake when Arabs are tending to link their economic, livelihood, and even water affairs to the Israeli enemy,” he said, noting that Egypt could have invested the money from the gas deal to extract gas in Egypt itself, or at least purchased from Arab countries that possess the vast quantities needed to cover Egypt’s needs and more.
The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that linking themselves to Israel and then submitting to blackmail is part of the wrong approach of some Arab regimes, which are not acting wisely, but rather are moving in a direction that defies all considerations and is a loss for them and their peoples.
He criticized the meeting of some leaders of the Islamic and Arab world with Trump, and their affirmation, demands, and pleas to him to have mercy on the nation and to beg him for mercy. He emphasized that the positions of some leaders of the Islamic and Arab world with Trump have exposed them in a deplorable state.
He stated that resorting to America, a country that is already embracing the Zionist plan and has all its ambitions for this nation, is part of this great loss. He expressed hope that all leaders in the Islamic world would speak clearly about what the Israeli enemy seeks to implement its Zionist plan.
He said, “We must all remember.” Our responsibilities. The Israeli enemy is clear and constantly repeats the slogan “changing the Middle East” and “Greater Israel.” In the face of these major challenges, we are most in need of Allah Almighty, of turning to Him and His guidance, seeking His help, His instructions, and His light.
The Leader stated that the Holy Quran is a book of guidance in all areas and guides to the most upright path, to honor, dignity, and glory in this world and to great success in the Hereafter.
He added, “If the nation had put its trust in Allah, followed His guidance, sought refuge in Him, and mobilized with all the pressure cards and resources at its disposal, it would be in a different situation.” He cited the jihadist model in the Gaza Strip, which, with very limited capabilities, has defeated Israel in multiple rounds.
He continued, “Muslims and Arabs are moving away from even boycotting the Israeli enemy—economic and diplomatic boycotts, airspace closures, intelligence boycotts, halting security cooperation—and are working at the minimum levels of practical action.”
The Leader of the Revolution highlighted the model of resistance in Lebanon, which defeated Israel in a major, historic defeat in 2000 and a major, strategically important defeat for the nation in 2006. He also defeated the Israeli enemy and prevented it from invading Lebanon in 2024.
He called for heeding the call of the Mujahideen of Al-Qassam Brigades to the sons of the Arab and Islamic nation to supplicate to Allah to relieve the distress and lift the affliction from the patient and steadfast in Gaza by praying two rak’ahs in mosques and public squares following the evening prayer this evening. He also called for a widespread and widespread response to the call, and for continued prayer as part of everyone’s ongoing concern for the situation.
At the end of his speech, the Leader called on the dear Yemeni people, the Yemen of faith, freedom, pride, human dignity and honor, the Yemen of jihad, honor, chivalry, generosity, values and morals, to take part in a million-strong march tomorrow, Friday, in the capital, Sana’a, and in the rest of the governorates and squares, in jihad for the sake of Allah, in response to His commands, in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in loyalty to His dear mujahideen.
