Saudi Gunfire Kills Civilian, Injures Seven in Sa’adah

A Yemeni civilian was killed and seven others most of them African migrants were injured on Friday after Saudi forces opened fire in the border district of Munabbih in Sa’adah province.

Local correspondents reported that the attack occurred near the Al-Sheikh area, where Saudi gunfire struck a group of civilians and migrants early in the morning.

One Yemeni citizen was confirmed dead, while another citizen and six African migrants sustained injuries.

Residents said the near-daily Saudi assaults on border communities pose a direct threat to civilian life, urging the international community and human rights organizations to take immediate action to stop the ongoing violations.

The incident is part of a long series of cross-border attacks recorded in Sa’adah’s frontier districts over recent months, which have resulted in dozens of civilian casualties and significant damage to homes, farms, and local infrastructure.
