Foreign Affairs Ministry condemns ongoing Zionist aggression against Palestine & Syria

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as against Syria.

In a statement, the Ministry denounced the continued violations of the ceasefire by the occupying entity, including the commission of crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the ongoing attacks in the West Bank—most recently the execution of two individuals in the city of Jenin—and the escalating assaults by Zionist settlers against Palestinian civilians and their property.

The Ministry also strongly denounced the ongoing Zionist aggression against Syria, most recently the incursion of the occupying entity into the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside, which was accompanied by attacks on civilians and their property, resulting in casualties including women and children.

The Ministry considered the Zionist aggression against Syria a blatant violation of the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, in contravention of the United Nations Charter and all international norms, treaties, and laws.

It commended the residents of Beit Jinn for bravely confronting the Zionist entity and forcing it to retreat, noting that the occupying entity continues to seek the destruction of Syrian capabilities, the occupation of more territory, and the fulfillment of its malicious objectives in Syria.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry reaffirmed the steadfast position of the Republic of Yemen in supporting the Palestinian and Syrian peoples and standing by them in confronting the brutal Zionist aggression.
