Brig. Saree: Armed forces repel Saudi enemy backed advance south of Bab al-Mandab

The Yemeni Armed Forces have repelled an advance attempt by forces affiliated with the Saudi enemy from the direction south of Bab al-Mandab.

In a statement, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained that the Armed Forces by the grace of Allah thwarted an advance attempt by Saudi-enemy forces. These forces were under the supervision of Saudi officer Badr al-Harbi, commander of the advanced operational base in Aden, and were attempting to move from the area south of Bab al-Mandab.

He confirmed that the advancing forces were targeted with a number of ballistic missiles and heavy weaponry, resulting in a large number of casualties both killed and wounded with ambulances rushing to the scene.

He further noted that the Armed Forces destroyed several military vehicles during the attempted advance, successfully thwarting the operation by the grace of Allah.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their warning to those who have been deceived, cautioning them against heeding the calls of the Saudi enemy and its officers, who are driving them into “death traps.”
