Yemeni Foreign Ministry Warns of Escalating Zionist Crimes in Gaza, West Bank, Reaffirms Firm Support for Palestine

Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has warned of the dangerous escalation of Zionist crimes in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, condemning the blatant international and UN silence, while reaffirming the steadfast position of Yemen—leadership, government, and people—in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.

In a statement, the ministry cautioned against the continued Zionist escalation in Gaza and the flagrant violations of the ceasefire agreement, citing the latest incident involving the targeting of a leader from the Al-Qassam Brigades, Raed Saeed Saad.

The statement stressed that acts of genocide in Gaza have not ceased and continue to be committed daily, resulting in the martyrdom of dozens, including children and women. It added that the Zionist entity has failed to comply with its obligations to allow the entry of humanitarian aid and to end its aggression and blockade against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Addressing developments in the occupied West Bank, the Foreign Ministry denounced the ongoing Zionist escalation, including killings, home demolitions, and the destruction of property, as well as the unprecedented expansion of settlement plans, all taking place amid total international silence.

The ministry called on the international community to compel the Zionist entity to implement the ceasefire agreement, complete the first phase, allow unhindered entry of humanitarian assistance, move toward the second phase, and halt escalation and settlement activity in the West Bank.

Yemen views these developments as part of a systematic policy aimed at imposing faits accomplis through force, collective punishment, and demographic change, while neutralizing international law and UN resolutions.

Against this backdrop, Yemen reiterates that its steadfast support for Palestine is not a temporary position, but a principled stance rooted in opposition to occupation and aggression, and in rejection of Zionist crimes carried out under the cover of international silence and complicity.
