The Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that Israeli enemy forces arrested at least 30 citizens from the West Bank, including Quds, between yesterday evening and this morning, Tuesday.
In a statement , the Prisoners Club explained that among those arrested were released prisoner Zahra Khadraj and her daughter Yaqin, in addition to a woman from Qalandia refugee camp who was taken hostage by the enemy, along with a number of released prisoners.
The statement added that the arrests were carried out in the governorates of Jenin, Nablus, Qalqilya, Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Quds.
The Club indicated that the enemy continues to escalate its arrest and field interrogation operations at an accelerated pace since the beginning of this year, in an unprecedented manner since the genocide, targeting various segments of Palestinian society as part of collective punishment operations. The Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that the Israeli occupation continues to target released prisoners, both men and women, who were freed under prisoner exchange deals. The most recent example is the arrest of Zahra Khadraj from Qalqilya, a released prisoner, as part of a systematic policy that constitutes a clear and new violation of the agreement and sends a message to all released prisoners that they will remain targets of persecution.
In a related context, the Prisoners Club emphasized that women are subjected to systematic targeting through ongoing arrest campaigns, including detention as hostages, night raids, and harsh interrogation methods. This constitutes a dangerous escalation in which the arrest of women is used as a tool of pressure and collective punishment.
It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to carry out daily arrest campaigns against Palestinians, which are among their most prominent and systematic policies. The number of arrests in the West Bank has exceeded 21,000 since the beginning of the war.
