Palestinian Analyst : Time works in Iran’s favor, & its rapid strikes on U.S. bases confirm accuracy of its intelligence

Palestinian political analyst Ihab Zaki affirmed that time is working in Iran’s favor in confronting the U.S.-Zionist aggression, considering its swift response and targeting of U.S. bases in the region as evidence of the precision of its intelligence.

Zaki told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that Iran has proven it was prepared for this war. He noted that during last year’s June aggression in the twelve-day war, Iran took twelve hours to launch its first response, whereas this time, a single hour was sufficient for its response to the latest aggression.

He added that the military steps Iran has taken indicate that they are deliberate and calculated, not random. In other words, they were not merely for retaliation or to assert presence.

He considered Iran’s targeting of U.S. bases in Gulf countries and Jordan, including radars and defensive systems, as proof that it possesses precise intelligence and specific coordinates for all these systems. This has effectively impacted the ability of these bases to defend themselves and protect the temporary Zionist entity.

He continued: “Time and prolonging the war work in Iran’s favor. Evidence of this can be seen in statements from the Israeli home front and the U.S. Central Command. Just hearing these names prepares you to hear a handful of lies.”

He mentioned that “lying in war, although a weapon of war, using it with such brazenness indicates a severe dilemma. We should get used to this lying in the coming days, which contrasts with Iranian military statements, characterized by realism and accuracy.”

On the morning of Saturday, February 28, the U.S. and the Zionist entity launched a new aggression against Iran, resulting in hundreds of civilian casualties and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other Iranian civilian infrastructure.

In response, Iran launched “Operation Al-Waad Al-Sadiq 4” against the Zionist entity and U.S. bases in the region.

The Lebanese Front

Regarding the Lebanese front, Zaki emphasized that Hezbollah was the real surprise in this war. After 15 months of one-sided war and Israeli as well as local Lebanese attempts to strip southern Lebanon of military capabilities, the Zionist enemy believed that invading southern Lebanon would be a mere military march. However, from the very first moment, it discovered that Hezbollah is stronger and more resilient.

He said: “That’s why, for the past five days since Israel announced its decision for a ground invasion, it has remained merely ink on paper. Just as Iran still rules out ceasefire options through the proposed formulas, Hezbollah also continues to reject them, as it did with the French President’s initiative. This demonstrates confidence in itself and its capabilities.”

He added: “Hezbollah seeks to bring the ceasefire agreement back on the real track — full withdrawal, release of prisoners, and an end to aggression. When this is achieved, the option to stop the war becomes the real goal. In other words, it aims to restore the balance of deterrence to what it was before the support war and the ‘First Strike’ war.”

Cards of Power
On Yemen’s potential involvement in this war, Zaki explained to Saba: “Regarding Yemen, there is certainly coordination among all the axis parties. Yemen’s non-involvement so far indicates that the Resistance Axis still holds many cards of power. As long as they do not use them, this shows they are in a good military state and know when and how to use their cards. As the law of war says: victory does not belong to the one with the most or strongest weapons, but to the one who knows when to use them.”

The Palestinian political analyst pointed out that “Sayyid Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi said our hands are on the trigger. There is no doubt that Yemen’s entry, if it happens during a prolonged war, will have a huge impact on the course of the war and its outcomes.”
