The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced on Wednesday that it targeted an Israeli force advancing towards the Khanouq area in Aitaroun, and two concentrations of enemy soldiers and vehicles at the Marj site opposite the border town of Markaba and at the newly established Markaba site. The Islamic Resistance, in three separate statements obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), said that this came in response to the criminal Israeli aggression that targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, as well as the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In statement number 1, it stated that “after observing an Israeli enemy army force advancing towards the Khanouq area in the border town of Aitaroun at 11:30 PM yesterday, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted it with rocket barrages.”
In statement number 2, it added that “Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy army vehicles and soldiers at the Marj site opposite the border town of Markaba with rocket barrages at 4:18 PM yesterday, Tuesday, March 10, 2026.” Statement No. 3 clarified that “at 4:18 PM yesterday, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy forces at the newly established Markaba site with artillery shells.”
Islamic Resistance operations in Lebanon against Israeli targets have escalated in response to the recent increase in Israeli aggression.
