I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that our master Muhammad is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
O Allah! Guide us and grant us acceptance, for You are the Hearing, the Knowing; accept our repentance, for You are the Relenting, the Merciful.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran:
{‘And We warned the Children of Israel in the Scripture, “You will certainly cause corruption in the land twice, and you will become extremely arrogant. When the first of the two promises would come to pass, We would send against you some of Our servants of great might, who would ravage your homes. This was a promise fulfilled. Then We would give you the upper hand over them and aid you with wealth and offspring, causing you to outnumber them. If you act rightly, it is for your own good, but if you do wrong, it is to your own loss. Then when the final promise would come, they would disgrace your faces and enter the mosque as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction. Perhaps your Lord may have mercy on you, but if you return, We will return.” And We have made Jahannam a prison for the disbelievers‘}[Al-Isra 17:4-8].
This is the word of truth form Almighty Allah, the Most High.
The International Day of Al-Quds, marked on the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan, is an occasion of profound significance. It reminds the Muslim Ummah of its sacred religious responsibility towards the greatest cause of our age: confronting the threat posed by the Zionist Jews who have occupied Palestine, Al-Quds, and other Arab lands—those who seek to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and to establish ‘Greater Israel’ through the occupation and total domination of the countries of this region, targeting Islam, Muslims, and the Islamic holy sites. It is an occasion to rouse the Ummah to fulfil its sacred duties to protect itself from that danger. It is also an occasion that keeps the Palestinian cause alive in the collective consciousness of the Ummah through active engagement—through demonstrations, seminars, and public events aimed at presenting ideas and solutions, mobilising the people, reminding them of their responsibility, and using every means to keep this cause alive. This stands in contrast to the efforts of the enemies of Islam and their proxies, who seek to undermine the significance of this cause, remove it from the Ummah’s sphere of concern, and ultimately consign it to oblivion.
This occasion was proclaimed and called for by Imam Al-Khomeini (May Allah have mercy on him) as part of his early commitment to the Palestinian cause and Islamic action against the Zionist Jewish enemy. This early commitment of the Islamic Revolution was evident from its inception and continued with its victory. The Islamic Republic has proven its credibility by steadfastly supporting this cause in every possible way, demonstrating a sincere commitment that can only be found among the free forces of this Ummah who refuse to bow to the dictates of Islam’s enemies. Sincere commitment to this cause is one of the signs of freedom from foreign domination.
Over the course of all these decades, and right up to what is unfolding in the present phase, events and realities have shown who is truthful and who is lying in professing commitment to the Palestinian cause, in claiming to support and champion it, and in taking a conscious and responsible stand against the enemies of Islam and Muslims, who pose a real danger to this Islamic Ummah and to human society at large. Events have also laid the truth bare regarding all the campaigns of doubt waged by the mouthpieces of Zionism against the sincere position of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the free people of the Ummah. These were campaigns that always aimed to keep the Ummah from engaging with this position positively and also to discourage it from taking a stand, thereby allowing the cause to be neglected and lost.
Choosing the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan for this occasion was a fitting decision by Imam Al-Khomeini (May Allah have mercy on him). This timing is of important significance, as he chose for this occasion to fall in Ramadan, the springtime of the Quran, the month of fasting and piety. It falls within the last ten days of this holy month, on its final Friday. All of this serves to remind the Ummah of this cause, of the place it holds within its religion and its religious obligations. It reminds the Ummah of the nature of its responsibility in taking a stand against the Jewish-Zionist enemy and its criminal instruments of evil, America and Israel. It reminds this Ummah that such a stand is a religious one, situated within its obligations of faith, morality, and jihad. Just as Allah has enjoined upon it fasting, prayer, and other religious duties, this obligation to support the Palestinian cause is part of the Ummah’s broader religious responsibilities. Neglecting this commitment would be a serious shortfall in fulfilling a religious obligation, for it is bound up with principles and values.
Therefore, it is essential that we clearly recognise that this issue concerns all of us as Muslims, by virtue of our belonging to Islam. This applies both in its Palestinian context—with regard to the grave injustice inflicted upon the Palestinian people, who are part of this Ummah, and the resulting religious and faith-based duty to repel this injustice from them—and from the perspective that Palestine is also part of the lands of Islam and contains some of the most important Islamic sanctities, foremost among them the honourable Al-Aqsa Mosque. All of this necessitates that this Ummah take a clear stance—whether in terms of its religious and faith-based obligations, or regarding the Zionist Jewish threat directed at the entire Ummah. Indeed, alongside the extremely grave injustice that the Zionist Jewish enemy inflicts upon the Palestinian people, it also targets the whole Ummah within the framework of its Zionist project, which seeks to occupy this entire region and to target Islam and the Muslims.
In fact, the Jewish enemy is a bitter adversary to the entire Ummah, to all the Muslims—an overt and manifest enemy. Its Satanic and criminal project targets the peoples of this entire region, seeking to occupy it, control it, and turn it into a platform from which it can extend its global influence. This is carried out in order to achieve its objectives within the framework of the Zionist project—objectives that are well known and clearly documented. They are recorded in books, discussed in studies and research, and openly declared in conferences. These are well-established matters within the framework of Zionist Jewish ideologies, and they are likewise shared and actively pursued within Zionist ideology, movement, and practice. This ideology has attracted a significant following in the Western world, particularly in America, eventually gaining global momentum to achieve its goals, led by America and Israel, and receiving all forms of support from the West. It seeks to extend its influence even within the Arab and Islamic arenas, making this issue one that concerns everyone.
When Imam Khomeini (May Allah have mercy on him) called upon the Islamic Ummah to commemorate this occasion for a sacred and noble purpose, he addressed the entire Ummah about a matter that concerns them all. It is within the framework of their collective responsibility as a Muslim Ummah, and not an issue that pertains solely to Iran or to any specific people or country in the region.
In fact, the Arabs themselves are in even greater need of commemorating this occasion, benefiting from it, and paying attention to this issue. This is because they face the greatest danger before others: the occupation of their homelands, their subjugation, the imposition of control over them, the infliction of severe punishment, enslavement, oppression, and the possible loss of both this life and the Hereafter.
At this stage, at which the true ambitions and schemes of the enemy towards the region have become manifest, they are—at this time, in this era, and at this stage—more exposed, clear, and explicit than ever before. The Zionist objectives are openly discussed by the Zionist enemies in official statements, regarding their scheme to establish ‘Greater Israel’, as well as what they call the ‘Reshaping of the Middle East’. Perhaps not a single day passes without references to the ‘Reshaping of the Middle East’; they repeatedly emphasise it.
The position of this issue in the eyes of the enemies is one of the important matters we must fully comprehend as Muslims. We observe the aggressive actions of America against our Islamic Ummah as it collaborates with the Zionist Jewish Israeli enemy in all its crimes, providing it with open military, political, and financial support, as well as support in all forms, and increasingly seeking to subjugate the region, particularly in recent times. In the face of this, we must fully understand that the American stance is not merely a political position guided by tactical considerations subject to change according to political calculations or narrow self-interest.
The American position is a Zionist one. That is, it acts within the framework of the Zionist movement and its allies in the Western world, with America at the forefront, to achieve goals that—in their view—are grounded in their religious convictions. Indeed, they affirm this fact. Nonetheless, these objectives are not merely a matter of basic religious belief; they relate to issues of importance to them within their aggressive, expansionist, and greedy tendencies. In other words, it is not only a religious act of devotion, but also a means of advancing their broader desires to control this strategically important region, with its abundant resources. It also serves their aspiration for global political domination. This applies both to the Jews and, more broadly, their allies. Regarding the Jews, it is particularly significant with respect to their King, whom they believe will one day rule the world through them. They believe that, through Zionist control, they will be able to exploit the region in its entirety—its location, its wealth, and all its critically important features—and wield global influence through it. This also serves their counterparts, allies, and partners in Western societies—chiefly America—who ultimately embrace another belief: that the Messiah will return once the Jews have established ‘Greater Israel’ and secured complete control over this region. They believe that, with the Messiah, they will attain global dominion; the Jews, in their view, will acknowledge him, and subsequently, they will establish a unified state to rule the world for a thousand years.
For them, there is a vision rooted in religious beliefs, serving their material and political ambitions, as well as their deepest desires and passions. This reflects the Western mindset and the corrupt tendencies within Jewish and Christian orientations, which have strayed from the prophetic path and turned instead towards ambition, corruption, whims, and desires. Within the framework of this dream and vision of global domination, they openly declare—supported by numerous texts—that, in pursuit of these goals, the Muslims must be eliminated entirely. This is a central point for them: the Muslims in this region must be eliminated and removed so that this ambition—a core conviction—can be realised, satisfying their deepest desires and whims.
Therefore, their interest in this issue is immense. One can observe the political, media, and educational focus they devote to it, as well as the attention reflected in their strategic plans, which form the basis for policies and positions. Even the American president in the White House must have key Zionist religious advisors—with Zionist orientation—guiding policies related to what they call the ‘Middle East’. They focus closely on this matter, devoting intense attention to it across military, political, media, educational, and economic spheres, and shaping plans, positions, and policies accordingly.
By contrast, we as Muslims—particularly the Arabs within the Islamic Ummah—are the primary targets of that plan. We are targeted in every respect: in our lives, our homelands, our wealth, and our existence as a free and independent Ummah acting in this life on the basis of its Islamic identity. Despite all the factors that give this cause the utmost importance, there remains a striking paradox in the level of attention it receives. There is even a kind of blindness when it comes to assessing the enemy’s position, perspective, and underlying motives: what the enemy wants, on what basis it acts, and from which premises it proceeds. As a result, some deal with America, for instance, as though it merely held a tactical political position that could easily change, as though it could be persuaded through some measure of dialogue, and as though these issues were open to bargaining and negotiation, allowing for partial solutions, half-measures, piecemeal solutions, and the like.
This represents a very serious problem and a profound flaw in the reality of the Muslims. The situation had reached a point where, from the very beginning, they—especially the Arabs—aligned themselves with Britain at the official level. Yet it was Britain whose role from the beginning was to facilitate the influx of Zionist Jews into Palestine, to organise them into militant groups, and to enable them to carry out the occupation within the framework of its own colonial rule. To illustrate, Britain occupied Palestine and other Arab and Islamic regions, and it oversaw the Jewish migration to occupied Palestine while actively serving the Zionist Jewish movement by empowering them. It built them up as militant groups under its protection, patronage, and full support, and continued strengthening them until they reached the level at which they could assume the task once Britain withdrew from Palestine. At the very same time, the Arabs were turning to Britain to stop this danger and resolve the problem, placing their trust in it. In other words, despite the fact that Britain was part of the Zionist ideology and movement, the Arabs dealt with it with trust and good faith—quite astonishingly—hoping it would halt the Zionist Jewish threat, recognise the rights of the Palestinian and Arab peoples, and prevent that danger and injustice from befalling this Ummah. Meanwhile, Britain was deceiving them and treating them with great contempt. Indeed, their conduct amounted to a staggering degree of foolishness—an extraordinary level of stupidity. Britain also played a role in dulling their awareness and preventing the emergence of any serious, sincere, and conscious movement capable of eliminating that danger in its early stages. This occurred at a time when the Zionists were still little more than small militant bands, forming themselves to commit crimes against Palestinian villages, attacking those villages, and establishing settlements on lands they seized here and there in the early stages. In this way, Britain succeeded in pacifying the Arabs, leaving them without any serious or genuine stance to confront the danger at its beginning.
The Arabs continued to align themselves with the British position, appealing to Britain to resolve the problem, stop the danger they faced, and present a solution that would serve the interests of all parties. This situation persisted until the American role emerged, when America became the principal standard-bearer of Zionism in the Western infidel world. This development was made possible by America’s global influence and its rise as a major international power, possessing vast influence, formidable military strength, and significant economic capabilities, through which it came to assume leadership of the Western world more broadly. America then stepped into this role as an active partner—a partner in Zionist ideology, in Zionist orientations, in the plan itself, in the effort to realise it, and in its commitment to that plan. So what did the Arabs do? After Britain, they turned completely to America, following the same course they had previously taken with Britain. Meanwhile, America works tirelessly—day and night—providing every form of support and all its resources to implement the Zionist project, ultimately seeking the full realisation of its major goals: comprehensive control over the region.
Despite all of that, the Arabs persist in treating the American position as though it were neutral and impartial and as though it respected this Ummah and safeguarded its rights. The situation reached a point where, at certain times, they even referred to America as the ‘Sponsor of Peace‘. Calling it by such a name is an extraordinarily strange stance. It represents blatant misguidance, astonishing folly, and a profound state of confusion. The Americans are entirely comfortable with this situation, and the Israelis themselves are equally satisfied with it. Through it, they have succeeded in numbing this Ummah and enabling the Israeli enemy to achieve continuous successes as it steadily strengthens its position—stage after stage, year after year, decade after decade. In other words, the differences from one decade to the next have been immense in the construction and consolidation of the Israeli entity: in its military strength, its economic capabilities, and in many other areas besides.
There is also a continuous effort to tame this Ummah—an effort carried out through a corrupting and misleading satanic war that drives the Ummah deeper into aimlessness/confusion, loss, ignorance, and foolishness. It also targets the Ummah’s values and morals in ways that further subdue it and render it vulnerable to being crushed and completely erased in the face of the threat posed by the Jews.
The path of retreat and compromise has indeed continued in the Arab world because their perspective on the Palestinian cause has been flawed and blind. They moved from one retreat to another—from one initiative to the next, from one step to another, and from one political and diplomatic stance to the next—each marking a further retreat, until they ultimately announced normalisation. In reality, normalisation means conceding regional dominance to the Israeli enemy and becoming its helpers within that framework. This is the stark reality of the situation. Yet even in this, they will not succeed—it will never save them.
The enemy clearly seeks to subjugate both regimes and peoples so that they become servants of the Israeli enemy, directing all their activity, attention, and capabilities towards implementing its plans and agenda against themselves—plans that further strengthen its success and entrench its dominance in the region.
For this reason, we realise that the Ummah’s most urgent need at the outset is a clear and correct understanding of the cause itself—its true nature, its place in the calculations of the enemies, the motivations behind their stance towards it, and their objectives. The ummah must also understand what this cause truly means for it: the importance it holds and the far-reaching consequences that neglecting it could have for the Ummah’s overall condition.
Therefore, we must return to the Holy Quran—the Book of Allah and His light for His servants. Official Arab institutions, together with many intellectual elites, have attempted to approach the matter through other modes of thinking—approaches shaped by ideas that had been influenced by others. Some of these also stemmed from ignorance—ignorance of divine laws, ignorance of the enemy, and ignorance of truths—and complete deception by the enemy. All of these approaches have been tried repeatedly, and it has become clear that they offer the Ummah no real benefit.
The Holy Quran is a book of guidance. Allah says of it, {‘Verily, this Quran guides to that which is most upright‘}[Al-Isra 17:9]. It guides the Ummah first and foremost in its major causes, let alone in other matters. Indeed, it is a comprehensive guide for all aspects of life.
When we return to the Holy Quran, we find that it devotes considerable space to discussing the enemies of the Muslims—particularly the principal enemies who are the most hostile and the most dangerous to this Ummah. It even focuses on the cause itself, especially in relation to Al-Quds and its central role in the nature of this conflict with the Israeli enemy, demonstrating how the Al-Aqsa Mosque stands as a prominent and defining symbol within that conflict. The Holy Quran speaks of Israeli ascendancy and corruption in the land, while at the same time affirming their inevitable downfall and demise. In doing so, it provides an accurate assessment of the enemies.
In the Quran, we find a clear affirmation that the Jews are the fiercest enemies of this Ummah, and we must view them in this light: {‘You will surely find the most serious of mankind in enmity to the believers to be the Jews and those who associate others with Allah‘}[Al-Ma’idah 5:82]—that is, those associate others with Allah come second. The Jews occupy the foremost position in enmity among all people. In other words, when we examine human societies across the world, among all peoples and nations—considering their ideas, beliefs, cultures, plans, policies, orientations, loyalties, and hostilities—and then ask who is the most hostile to the believers, we will find, through clear evidence, compelling proof, historical events, and every kind of testimony, that this Quranic truth is indeed confirmed: The most hostile are the Jews. Numerous realities in the world bear witness to this truth: They stand as the principal enemy, the foremost adversary. Why then do many within this Ummah insist on turning a blind eye to this truth—indeed even promoting the notion that they could become friends and that coexistence with them is possible?
This relates to the level of their hostility. Yet beyond that, they are the worst of humanity—marked by the greatest degree of evil, misguidance, corruption, falsehood, and criminality. In other words, as they exhibit the greatest hostility, they also embody the worst traits of humanity—misguidance, wickedness, malevolence, criminality, and greed. All the elements of evil have converged in them in the worst and most extreme form imaginable. If we were to survey all human societies and ask who commits the most horrific crimes, we would find that it is they—the most criminal of all people. And if we ask who is the most misguided, it is they—the ones who actively spread corruption throughout the land.
For this reason, the Holy Quran presents a comprehensive portrayal of them, showing that in addition to being the fiercest in hostility, they also {‘want you, too, to stray from the path‘}[An-Nisa 4:44]; {‘If you were to yield to a group of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back from belief to disbelief‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:100]; and {‘And they strive to spread corruption in the land‘}[Al-Ma’idah 5:64]—a corruption that extends across all spheres. In fact, they are the forces of corruption that seek to sow mischief in every sphere and strive to corrupt human societies. Yet they focus particularly on this Ummah, aiming to eliminate it and to control its lands, its wealth, and its strategic position. They also regard it as their fiercest enemy should it awaken to its Islam and to its sacred responsibilities in this life—so that it may become a nation of goodness, a nation that enjoins what is right, forbids what is wrong, and confronts corruption and tyranny across the world. The Quran provides a comprehensive assessment of them.
At the same time, Allah clarifies in the Quran that if the Ummah reaches a state in which these Jews —despite their evil, wrongdoing, tyranny, and corruption—are able to humiliate it, this can only happen as a result of a very grave neglect on the part of this Ummah itself: a failure in its principles, its values, its morals, and its religious commitments, bringing upon itself the accountability of Allah. This is because those Jews upon whom Allah has decreed humiliation and misery, and who have incurred His wrath, have been subjected to this humiliation in every time and place since it was decreed for them. Therefore, if they are able to humiliate this Ummah, it represents an extremely serious situation. It demands that the Ummah take a serious look at its own reality, correct its internal state, return to the Holy Quran and to Allah (Glory be to Him), repent to Him with sincere repentance, and reform itself, so that it no longer remains in a state of accountability before Allah (Glory be to Him).
Allah says in the Holy Quran, speaking about the Children of Israel, {‘They have been stricken with humiliation wherever they are caught, except through a rope from Allah and a rope from the people. And they have incurred wrath from Allah and have been stricken with destituteness. That was because they disbelieved in the signs of Allah and unjustly killed the prophets. This is [a fair reward] for their disobedience and violations‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:112]. If this Ummah—across most of its peoples and governments—becomes a humiliated nation before those upon whom Allah has already decreed humiliation, placing itself under their mercy while they themselves possess no mercy, and falling into destitution at their hands, then this is a very serious and alarming situation, one that incurs divine accountability. Such a situation alone should be sufficient to compel the Ummah to reassess its current reality, reform its condition, and return sincerely and practically to Allah.
Moreover, the Holy Quran has decisively settled the matter of choices by clearly identifying the path that will truly benefit the Ummah, with certainty. Following this path safeguards the Ummah from plunging into dangerous and failed experiments in matters of critical importance, with all the grave consequences they entail. In other words, it prevents the Ummah from gambling on failed, misguided and invalid options that ultimately serve its enemies while bringing it no benefit whatsoever.
Therefore, the choice of allegiance to the Jews, to America, and to Israel—a policy often accompanied by appeasement and adopted by numerous regimes and governments, along with many elites, and consequently followed by many among the peoples—is an utterly false choice. First, it constitutes a grave burden and a genuine departure from some of the most fundamental principles and greatest values of Islam. It is also a clear violation of the instructions of Allah (Glory be to Him), one that provokes His anger and wrath and invites divine punishment upon the people. This is a very dangerous condition, against which Allah sternly warns in the Quran, to the extent that He says, {‘Do you want to produce before Allah a clear evidence against yourselves?‘}[An-Nisa 4:144]. It is indeed an extremely serious matter. Moreover, it represents the path of hypocrisy, which the Holy Quran emphasises as a source of great danger and a cause of ruin for the Ummah.
The reality of this choice is made clear in the Holy Quran by Allah, the One Who knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth and Who fully knows our enemies: {‘Allah knows best who your enemies are‘}[An-Nisa 4:45]. He knows them even in their inner selves—in their thoughts and their inclinations. Allah is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, fully aware of the course of this life in all its circumstances. He is also the One Who manages the affairs of the heavens and the earth; He is not merely watching the condition of people without taking action or making any arrangement.
For this reason, when Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran about those who love them, {‘Here you are! You love them but they do not love you’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:119], He settles the matter decisively: Even if allegiance to them turns into emotional attachment and heartfelt affection, it will not benefit them in the least, nor will it gain them any favour from them. Their calculations and priorities are different: They pursue their own objectives. They will eventually crush even those who loved them—those who therefore dealt peacefully with them, cooperated with them, aligned themselves with them, and offered them every form of support. Once they reach the stage where they no longer need that support—and they inevitably will—and conclude that their interests lie in taking control of everything, they will, driven by their greed, malevolence, and evil nature, do whatever they wish without hesitation. Allah says about them, {‘Why is it that every time they make a covenant, a group of them casts it aside?‘}[Al-Baqarah 2:100], emphasising that this is an ever-continuing reality. {‘Why is it that every time they make a covenant, a group of them casts it aside?‘} There is absolutely no hope in them whatsoever.
As for other options, such as political compromises and half-measures, Allah says, {‘Do they have a share in dominion? If so, they would not have given anyone so much as the speck on a date stone‘}[An-Nisa 4:53]. This is starkly evident in their conduct towards the Palestinian Authority, in the agreements and treaties established between them, and in their actions within the West Bank.
However, the choice of turning to Allah, seeking aid from Allah, and aligning oneself with Allah is the right one. Indeed, the outcome of aligning oneself with Allah by acting on His guidance and teachings in a broad, comprehensive way is triumph: {‘And whoever takes for guardian Allah, His Messenger, and those who have believed, then it is certainly Allah’s party that will prevail‘}[Al-Ma’idah 5:56].
Moreover, Allah has clarified the horizons and ultimate outcomes of this conflict, including the inevitable defeat of those enemies, as He says, {‘Then when the final promise came, they would disgrace your faces and to enter the mosque as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction‘}[Al-Isra 17:7]. Allah also affirms this truth when He says, {‘But if you return, We will return‘}[Al-Isra 17:8], making that an established law and inevitable promise—that every time the Zionist Jews return to their old ways—aggression, arrogance, transgression, corruption upon the earth, tyranny, and criminality—Allah will unleash others on them again, causing their downfall. He will strip them of their power and authority and bring forth from among His servants those who strike them with a crushing blow.
Allah also says about them, {‘Behold! Your Lord declared that He would certainly send against them those who would make them suffer terribly until the Day of Resurrection‘}[Al-A’raf 7:167]. This is one of the established truths in the Quran, and it should greatly encourage this Ummah to turn to Allah, act in accordance with His teachings, trust in His promise and His victory, and take the necessary steps to build strength and achieve victory: {‘Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power‘}[Al-Anfal 8:60].
As for the nature of the conflict with them and its various arenas, it is not confined to military conflict alone; rather, they operate extensively to mislead the Ummah culturally, intellectually, politically, and through the media. Indeed, every single domain constitutes an intense battleground in this conflict with them; it is the duty of the Ummah to work in every one of these fields on this foundation—as an arena for jihad and confrontation against the Jews. In the media domain, those engaged in media activities must operate as mujahidin for the cause of Allah, confronting all the Zionist-Jewish propagandas—whether those broadcast directly by them, or those transmitted through their mouthpieces, their proxies, and their tools on this front. This is because one of the primary policies relied upon by the Zionist Jews is misleading others and then turning them into mere instruments serving their agenda. This strategy makes it easier for them to achieve their objectives. Thus, instead of needing to personally address every Muslim across every location and region, they set to work thousands of Arab media figures who identify as Muslim, and thousands of preachers—even in the name of religious discourse, even from the pulpits of the mosques—in television and radio channels, in newspapers and magazines, and even in schools and universities. They employ an army drawn from this very Ummah, operating within a framework that serves Zionist interests. They seek to either align the Ummah directly with the Jews or lead it astray from the correct path and proper stance that Allah has drawn—the very path that truly avails the Ummah before Allah, wins it His good pleasure, and earns it His victory and support, as well as tangible results on the ground.
The same is true when it comes to the military front. Rather than engaging in battles in every country and on various fronts, the Israeli enemy employs numerous proxies to do the work for it. Then, when they become useless, it lets them destroy one another, and in the end, it eliminates whoever remains directly.
In fact, the Jews employ this approach as part of their strategy to mislead people and the Ummah. They act like misleaders, much like Satan himself, since they are among Satan’s foremost followers. They are among those most closely bound to Satan and most devoted to him, and they even engage in Satanic rituals. Thus, the nature of the conflict encompasses various domains.
In the political sphere as well, it is the duty of the Ummah to strive to understand everything related to the Jews in this domain: their concepts, visions, and directions, and ideas they insinuate into the Ummah, along with their politically motivated activities and endeavours. This applies to every field, as they actively target values and spread corruption in all its forms. They work diligently to promote vice, depravity, moral decay, family disintegration, moral degeneration, and use of drugs. They seek to normalise indecency in societies at the worst possible level and destroy the Islamic values of chastity and noble character. Therefore, the Ummah’s course must be one of confronting them across all these fronts.
Today, we observe, for example, a global awakening—even in America—concerning the Zionist movement and the actions of the Jews. Recently, the major scandal surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein documents has emerged, one in a series of scandals preceded by many others—for example, those laboratories in America linked to Jews and Zionists and specialised in bacteria and viruses, destructive viruses that spread epidemics and disease. It is clear what they seek through all this: they target societies in every conceivable way.
Thus, in the field of health, they engage in numerous activities aimed at undermining public health, spreading diseases and epidemics, and targeting people’s lives and well-being. That is why the health sphere is one of the most dangerous and important arenas in confronting them.
With that said, our Ummah must be mobilised across all fields, moving forward with the awareness that every domain has become a battleground of confrontation with them. The Ummah must realise that this is the nature of the conflict: They operate in every sphere to target human societies, primarily Muslims. The regrettable thing is that this state of stagnation continues among the Arab peoples, despite the fact that an awakening has begun even in Western societies.
In reality, Muslims face a crisis of trust in Allah (Glory be to Him), which has affected their relationship with Him, the Holy Quran, and the Prophet (PBUH&F). Consequently, they have been deprived of the Quran’s guidance and its great light, making the deceptions of the Jews appear plausible to a terrifying extent, even among the elite, let alone the general public.
The enemies are clearly trying to impose a new order of unchecked aggression and open warfare. This is evident: They want to target entire peoples, and then have the blame directed only at those who resist their aggression, as is happening in Lebanon. For fifteen months, Israeli aggression against Lebanon has continued unabated: daily killings, airstrikes, demolition of homes, occupation of new positions in the hills, mountains, and valleys, incursions, kidnappings, and crimes in all their forms.
However, when Hezbollah recently decided to take action, it became the target of blame from the Lebanese government itself, certain Lebanese forces aligned with Lebanon’s enemies, and even the broader Arab camp that serves the enemies. Thus, blame is directed at those who move to confront Israeli aggression. What does this signify? It signifies an attempt to establish a new order of unchecked aggression, one that the people of this Ummah in every country are expected to accept so that blame falls on whoever rejects it, on whoever stands in the face of the enemy and pushes back against its assaults and its targeting of this Ummah.
This also signifies open war—that the Americans and Israelis want it to become acceptable in our region, among both peoples and governments, that they may strike whomever they wish at any time of they choose, even when there are agreements, guarantees, and negotiations, and even when they have no logical justification or right whatsoever to do so. In other words, because they have decided to do so, absurd, false, and baseless justifications are enough for them to launch their aggression against any country or force.
The Ummah must never accept this, for it constitutes an affront to human dignity and poses an existential threat to it. Accepting this is falsehood in its starkest form; it means accepting injustice, tyranny, and aggression and abandoning legitimate rights, values, and even principles recognised by all peoples and nations and by all human norms.
With regard to the American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Muslim Iranian people, this aggression has absolutely no justification whatsoever. Rather, it is an unjust, brutal, criminal, and savage act of aggression that, according to the statements of the Americans and Israelis themselves, aims to reshape the Middle East and remove the Islamic Republic of Iran. That is because of the significant role it, as an Islamic power, plays in protecting this Ummah. It stands as a major obstacle to the Israeli enemy’s domination of this region and represents one of the greatest obstacles to the implementation of the Jewish-Zionist scheme to establish what they call ‘Greater Israel’. Therefore, the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran is, in reality, an attack on this entire region, on this Ummah and all its peoples. Their aim is to eliminate that obstacle which they see as standing in the way of their objective: occupying this region, controlling these peoples, subjugating this Ummah, and reducing it to servitude. That is the goal, and that is the true description of the battle; therefore, the right course for the Ummah is to stand against this brutal aggression, which targets the Iranian Muslim people, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the entire region and its peoples.
Iranian resilience is truly remarkable, and Iran’s response is strong, effective, and devastating to its enemies. It has destroyed the American bases in the region and inflicted severe damage on the Israeli enemy. Yet Iranian retaliation is not over. This serves as a distinctive model of steadfastness, resilience, and effective response. We have seen such steadfastness before as well: the great steadfastness of the mujahidin in Gaza, the mujahidin in Lebanon, the Yemeni people too, and likewise the mujahidin in Iraq. The Islamic Republic of Iran—with its strength, capabilities, and influence—has demonstrated extraordinary steadfastness and resilience in confronting the enemy, setting a successful, positive example for the entire region.
Thus, the Ummah must strive to rise to this level of strength in confronting the Israeli and American enemy. Had what befell the Islamic Republic of Iran—at that level of tyranny, criminality, and aggression, with that level of destructive targeting and means of devastation—happened to some countries of the region with regimes that adopt a policy of taming and submission, they would have collapsed within days or even hours.
Thus, this example should draw the attention of our Ummah as a correct, good model—one that brings it honour. Indeed, it is an honour for this Ummah to have states capable of confronting American and Israeli aggression with such steadfastness, strength, effectiveness, and resilience. For all of this was built on a sound vision: on the principle, {‘Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power‘}[Al-Anfal 8:60]; on the recognition that those are enemies; and on the understanding that we are a targeted ummah that must prepare itself to confront its enemies and the dangers directed against it.
Therefore, many regimes should have changed their negative stance. In fact, some regimes go as far as attempting to provide cover for American bases within their borders and regarding retaliation against them as aggression targeting their own countries and peoples. In other words, these regimes seek to protect those bases, ensuring they can launch assaults from their territories without facing any Iranian retaliation. However, the Islamic Republic of Iran rejects these attempts, and it has every right to do so, as it cannot accept being left exposed to unchecked aggression. It cannot be accepted that those bases in those countries should be free to kill and destroy inside Iran, while the Iranian people, the Islamic Republic, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are then expected not to respond.
It is deeply regrettable that some regimes and governments provide cover for American bases to launch aggression from their own territories, and even seek to protect them. The Americans and Israelis are still trying to go even further by dragging those regimes into direct participation in the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. So they are not satisfied with the role those regimes already play politically, in the media, and financially in service of the Zionist Jews, Israel, and America, nor with their acting as a shield attempting to intercept missiles and drones—but to no avail.
Here we see the fruit of preparation shaped by the Islamic Republic’s revolutionary, jihadi, and liberationist vision in confronting aggression—a vision grounded in this Quranic principle: {‘Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power‘}[Al-Anfal 8:60]. We see clearly the failure of the American and Israeli enemies to achieve their aims. We see the strong cohesion of the Islamic Republic and of the Muslim Iranian people. And we see that the enemies are now in a clear predicament, suffering significant losses and failing to meet their goals. In short, they are in a state of evident failure.
For this reason, those regimes that persist in this negative stance must change it. Everyone in this region understands that, if the enemies were to succeed in their aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, they would seek to exploit that success to the utmost in subjugating the rest of the peoples of this region.
The same applies to their stance towards Hezbollah and its legitimate right to confront the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, which has continued for fifteen months with daily attacks on the fighters and cadres of Hezbollah and on the Lebanese people, along with persistent violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty. Therefore, Hezbollah deserves support and backing, rather than blame.
The Islamic jihadist factions in Iraq, too, fully justified in what they are doing, since America is treating Iraq as open ground for aggression: It fully violates Iraqi airspace in its aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and it also uses its bases there as part of that aggression. It is likewise targeting the Popular Mobilisation Forces in Iraq and the Iraqi people. The American posture towards Iraq remains one of occupation and ongoing violation of sovereignty— economically, politically, in security terms, militarily, at every level. Therefore, what the Islamic jihadist factions in Iraq are doing is a legitimate right and a great act that deserves praise and gratitude.
Regarding our position in Yemen, we have consistently affirmed that the American and Israeli aggression targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran is, in fact, an assault on the entire region. This represents a war against Islam and Muslims. Accordingly, we consider ourselves duty-bound to stand with the Islamic Republic of Iran against the enemies of Islam and Muslims, against the enemies of the Ummah, against our shared enemies who are waging aggression against us all.
The Israeli enemy remains in a constant state of aggression against Arabs and Muslims. Its aggression in Palestine continues unabated: Not for a single day does it cease violating the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque or attacking the Palestinian people in every form—killing, displacement, destruction, demolition, abductions, torture in prisons, and every act of injustice and aggression. It then extends its violations to the region more generally. For this reason, we reaffirm our solidarity with the Muslim Iranian people and the Islamic Republic of Iran and our readiness for any development in this battle.
As for the Palestinian cause—on the International Day of Al-Quds—it remains the central cause of the Ummah. Therefore, we reaffirm our principled, moral, and religious commitment to standing with the Palestinian people and defending the holy sites, foremost among them the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque. We likewise reaffirm our religious stance of enmity towards the Jewish-Zionist enemy, its aggressive schemes against our Islamic Ummah, and its Satanic efforts to mislead and corrupt human society.
This week, the Fourth International Conference—Palestine: The Ummah’s Central Cause—was held in Sana’a as part of the official and academic commitment to the Palestinian cause, contributing to this cause through various studies, research, and perspectives. This is one aspect of the great concern for the Palestinian cause in Yemen, and it is also a useful model from which other Islamic countries can benefit. Therefore, on this occasion, I thank the brothers overseeing this conference and those taking part in it through their valuable and beneficial contributions, and I commend this conscious and exemplary concern.
Our dear people are among those who commemorate International Quds Day most widely, driven by their identity of faith and their jihadist spirit. And tomorrow, Allah willing, they will mark this occasion in a magnificent, honourable, and million-strong demonstration.
I call upon our dear people to commemorate the International Day of Al-Quds by taking to the streets tomorrow, Allah willing, in a great and honourable turnout in the capital, Sana’a, and across the other governorates. The demonstrations will take place according to the usual arrangements regarding time and place set by the organising committee.
This is part of our jihad, and one of the great acts that draw us closer to Allah in these blessed days, in the last ten days of Ramadan, on a blessed day that is among the greatest of days for drawing close to Allah and for the multiplication of reward and recompense. This deserves our active participation and engagement.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
