Revolutionary Leader: Al-Sarkah in arrogant face ” fortifies nation’s internal front & confronts efforts to domesticate it & redirect its loyalty to its enemies

The Revolutionary Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that Yemen’s position is clear and openly declared—not neutral—against the American and Israeli aggression targeting the nation, the Islamic Republic, and the Muslim Iranian people.

In a speech delivered today marking the anniversary of the “Al-Sarkah in the Arrogant Face ,” he said: “We are confronting the Zionist Israeli enemy and its American partner. Our course is escalation if the enemy escalates and returns to escalation once again.”

He noted that the “Al-Sarkah in the Face of the Arrogant” marked the beginning of a practical launch within the framework of the Qur’anic project. It represents a declaration of stance against the enemies’ assault on the Islamic nation and a wise, accessible shift that moves people from a state of stagnation to a position of truth, alongside Qur’anic awareness, faith-based mobilization, and practical action.

Sayyed Abdulmalik began his speech with an extensive discussion of the anniversary of the slogan first proclaimed by the movement’s founder, the “Martyr of the Qur’an,” Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

He explained that the slogan was first launched in a lecture he delivered at Imam al-Hadi School in Marran, Sa’ada Governorate, on 4 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1422 AH (January 17, 2002), describing the anniversary as an important occasion for awareness and for commemorating the great Qur’anic stance of proclaiming truth in the face of tyranny and arrogance.

He pointed out that the slogan carries both spiritual value and real-world importance at a critical stage in history, noting that the current assault led by forces of disbelief and tyranny bears capabilities, tools, and “satanic” objectives surpassing previous historical campaigns.

He further explained that the American, Israeli, and Zionist assault on the Islamic nation at the beginning of the third millennium entered a highly dangerous advanced stage, stressing that slogans such as “Changing the Middle East” and the pretext of “counterterrorism” were deceptive and false.

He added that this assault was met within the Islamic world by many regimes and leaders rushing to declare loyalty and submission to the enemies, describing such loyalty and alignment as among the worst forms of regression from the principles, values, and ethics of Islam.

He said: “The state of haste and failure by regimes and leaders serves the American and Israeli assault targeting the nation. This state of failure poses grave dangers, and the nation should have responded with general mobilization to confront it.”

He stated that jihad in the way of Allah and action across all fields, based on responsibility, was the correct stance rejecting submission and subjugation. However, such a stance remains limited within certain circles of the free and steadfast individuals of the nation.

He added that, despite widespread failure and dependency on regimes, this stance holds great value in the scale of faith and ethics, reflecting strong trust in Allah and sincerity of belief. Meanwhile, defeatism, retreat, and blindness to the correct stance have become dominant, reinforcing a widespread sense of despair.

The Revolutionary Leader considered the slogan and the blessed Qur’anic project as a true embodiment of Qur’anic guidance, stressing that alignment with the United States and Israel, submission, or allowing enemies to dominate the nation cannot represent Qur’anic teachings.

He reiterated that the slogan marked the practical beginning of the Qur’anic project and serves as a declaration of stance against aggression, elevating people from stagnation to rightful action within a framework of awareness, faith mobilization, and practical movement.

He concluded: “The slogan confronts the labels and narratives used by enemies as pretexts to target the nation. Its content expresses a culture, vision, and set of concepts, and it plays a crucial role in exposing enemies and undermining the narratives they rely on in their schemes.”

He pointed out that the slogan reinforces the glorification and exaltation of God, and eliminates any sense of reverence or submission before the forces of tyranny and arrogance. The meaning of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” he said, represents a stance at the necessary level to confront an enemy that targets the nation in an attempt to extinguish its religion, enslave it, and humiliate it.

Mr. Abdul-Malik Bader Al-Din Al-Houthi renewed his assertion that the Jews play a fundamental role in the Zionist movement and in the hostility against the nation, as well as in efforts to mislead and spread corruption in the world.

He explained that the slogan establishes an important and major truth: that victory belongs to Islam, and that it is the religion promised by Allah to prevail globally. He affirmed that if the nation acts within the framework of Islamic principles, values, and teachings, it will achieve victory, rise, and prevail.

He said, “Among the important outcomes of the slogan is breaking the state of silence, thwarting efforts to silence voices, emptying the arena, and preparing it for the enemies in order to subjugate the nation to them without obstacles, and criminalizing any opposition to them.” He added that the slogan confronts agendas and plans devised by enemies targeting the nation.

He noted that the slogan is proven and guaranteed in its effectiveness, with clear evidence of its impact. He emphasized that from the beginning, the enemies have worked to spread a state of submission and silence, suppress voices, and prevent any movement that opposes their schemes and conspiracies against the nation.

He added, “The enemies are working to bring the situation in our Arab and Islamic reality to a point where even criticizing Israeli crimes—no matter how blatant and horrific—becomes criminalized. We, as a Muslim nation, are fundamentally victims of Zionist targeting aimed at annihilating us, occupying our lands, targeting our holy sites, erasing the features of our religion, enslaving, humiliating, and violating us.”

He stated that the enemies seek to prevent even a single word from the nation expressing anger, hostility, or stance toward what is being done to it. He pointed out that verbal protest, when aligned with a correct approach, revives a sense of responsibility within the nation and motivates it to fulfill its duties in confronting the threats it faces.

He said, “The enemies have indeed moved to silence voices and prevent any free voice opposing US-Israeli domination and tyranny. In some Gulf countries, the situation has reached the point where those who post a tweet expressing sympathy with the Palestinian people are punished, imprisoned, and fined.”

He added, “In some Gulf countries, based on directives from security authorities, any expression of sympathy with Hezbollah or the Lebanese people in the face of Israeli aggression is prohibited. Meanwhile, while criticism of the enemy and praying against the Zionists is banned, expressions of loyalty to the enemy, justification of its crimes, criticism of the resistance fighters, and insults toward the Palestinian people are allowed.”

He stressed that the enemies seek to impose a state of silence on the Islamic nation, preventing any reaction to American and Israeli tyranny. He noted that no matter how horrific the crimes of Zionist Jews—such as those committed in the Gaza Strip—or how severe their targeting of the nation, even basic levels of criticism, protest, or demonstrations are suppressed.

The leader also spoke about the suppression of voices expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people in some Gulf countries, describing it as worse than what occurs in the United States, Britain, and Europe.

He said, “The slogan in the face of the arrogant breaks the barrier preventing expressions of solidarity. It spreads among the masses so that no one can stop you from speaking, protesting, or expressing your anger and stance toward what your enemies are doing.”

He concluded that the slogan in the face of the arrogant serves as a safeguard for the internal state of the nation, confronting attempts to domesticate it and redirect its loyalty toward its enemies. It also helps correct the direction of hostility, and one of the slogan’s greatest outcomes is guiding enmity toward the right direction.

He added, “The nation, even at the instinctive and rational level, should direct its hostility toward its real enemies—foremost among them the Zionist Jews. One of the most dangerous issues the nation suffers from is the ability of the Zionist Jews and their allies to infiltrate the nation in the matter of loyalty and enmity.”

He continued, “One of the most urgent needs of the nation is to regulate the issue of allegiance and hostility, because it is a very serious and highly important matter. It is a principled, religious, moral, and value-based issue that carries significant consequences in both this life and the Hereafter.”

He went on to say, “We can see in the reality of the nation how the Jews have succeeded in diverting the compass of hostility among wide segments of the nation. We also see governments, leaders, and various political, partisan, sectarian, and ideological trends directing all their hostility in the direction the Jews have guided them.”

Sayyidd Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that the Jews are the ones directing some regimes to oppose those who oppose the Zionist Jews and to confront those who resist the Zionist project. What extremist groups and some regimes are doing, he said, is an example of redirecting hostility toward those who stand as an obstacle to the US-Israeli agenda.

He added, “The Holy Qur’an guides us to oppose our enemies—those who are enemies of Allah, of truth, justice, and goodness—who act with evil, oppression, tyranny, and criminality in targeting us.” He explained that the “Sarkha” (the slogan) counters the enemy’s efforts to infiltrate and control the nation by manipulating its direction of hostility and allegiance in ways that serve their interests.

He continued, “The Sarkha mobilizes the nation to act and confront the US-Israeli aggression. It represents a state of awakening in response to the enemies’ assault, stirring anger and mobilizing hostility against them, as well as a state of awareness, vigilance, attentiveness, and focus regarding enemy plots—so that the nation can take practical steps to counter their conspiracies.”

He pointed out that mobilizing anger and hostility toward enemies is important for uniting Muslims. Those who understand the realities of the enemy are better able to move collectively and cooperate in repelling the danger targeting the nation. He emphasized that the Sarkha is an important factor in encouraging Muslims to unite and build the nation militarily, economically, culturally, and scientifically.

He said, “One of the most important benefits of the Sarkha is exposing the false slogans used by enemies to deceive the naïve and unsuspecting among the nation—such as claims of freedom, human rights, democracy, and the like.”

The leader questioned, “Where are human rights and women’s rights—those slogans they keep repeating—while Israel kills a Palestinian woman every half hour with American support and weapons?” He stressed that the Sarkha against the arrogant powers is accompanied by a call to boycott American and Israeli goods, which is a very important matter.

He emphasized the importance of boycotting American and Israeli products as part of economic warfare and confronting enemies, considering it a key factor in striving for self-sufficiency and transforming into a productive nation. He also explained that the Sarkha is accompanied by Qur’anic education, awareness, and a practical connection to the Holy Qur’an—one of the nation’s most essential needs to correct its path and regain sound judgment amid its current state of disorientation, which requires wisdom and guidance.

He added, “There is no justification for anyone to take a hostile stance toward the slogan in the face of the arrogant powers, because there is no ambiguity or confusion that the enemy of the nation is in falsehood,” explaining that Jews and those loyal to them seek to instill and entrench a state of despair and a defeatist spirit within the nation, and to promote the idea that jihad and confronting the enemies are futile.

He continued, “If the nation moves in accordance with Allah’s teachings and takes the means of victory, then God has promised it victory,” noting that regimes aligned with America and Israel magnify any act of aggression carried out by the enemy in a way that plants despair among the nation about the usefulness of confronting or resisting the enemy.

The Revolution Leader pointed out that media aligned with America and Israel works to undermine any stance against tyranny and to belittle any achievement or victory, no matter how significant, in confronting the enemy. He added that most Arab media outlets dealt with Hezbollah’s victory in 2000 through distortion and extreme belittlement, downplaying its importance.

He said, “Takfiri forces moved to distort Hezbollah’s 2000 victory and cast doubt on it, preventing the nation from recognizing the magnitude, importance, and impact of that victory in reviving hope among its people, repelling danger, and strengthening trust in Allah in achieving victory.”

He added, “Corrupt scholars and misleading figures affiliated with certain Arab regimes issued fatwas forbidding even praying for Hezbollah’s victory in 2006. In any round where the Israeli enemy achieves some limited progress—often filled with crimes and tyranny—they present it as an inevitable fate, as if it determines the nation’s ultimate destiny, and claim that no stance is of any benefit whatsoever.”

He continued, “Allah Almighty has defined the horizons, consequences, and outcomes of confrontation with the Jewish Zionist enemy with clear and confirmed truths in the Holy Quran, yet they ignore that,” emphasizing that the steadfastness of the fighters in the Gaza Strip is of great importance and of a very high level, and should have been met across the nation with appreciation, encouragement, praise, and support in all forms.

He explained that despite the great steadfastness in Gaza, those forces engage in belittlement, distortion, and demoralization within the nation, acting as mouthpieces for Zionism as part of psychological warfare and efforts to distort facts, consistently presenting a false and misleading image of events.

He said, “In the recent round, despite the heavy blows suffered by the American and Israeli sides, the media direction of certain regimes—especially in the Gulf—tries to portray the situation as weak, miserable, and incapable, while at the same time distorting and belittling the operations of the axis, and exaggerating and amplifying in favor of the US-Israeli aggression.”

He added, “The media trend in some regimes portrays it as inevitable that the nation will be defeated and the axis will collapse, suggesting that no stance is useful and that surrender is the only option, while simultaneously spreading despair and opposing any strong position.”

He noted that despite Yemen’s strong position in supporting Gaza in the naval confrontation against America, Israel, and Britain—and despite American acknowledgment of failure—media in some regimes attempted to present the matter differently, stressing that media aligned with America and Israel always exaggerates anything from the enemy’s side and distorts any stance that could revive hope within the nation.

He further stated that the media approach of some regimes seeks to distort the situation in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, and all fronts of the axis.

He pointed out that enemies consistently work to mislead the nation, distancing it from correct directions aligned with the Quran and reality, dragging it into the maze of normalization with the enemy, distorting positions opposing Israel and America, and steering the nation away from any resilience against infiltration and toward paths far from the correct stance that ensures its dignity and honor.

He said, “The Jews, along with their American and British partners and their agents among hypocritical Arabs, are working to make the nation accept a state of total violation in all aspects. This has reached the point where Quranic verses are removed from school and university curricula, and where the words of the criminal Netanyahu and other Zionist criminals are placed above Allah’s commands and Islamic principles.”

The Revolution Leader considered accepting such violations a state of regression within the nation, describing it as extremely dangerous, and stressing that the enemies aim to reduce the nation to a level devoid of human dignity, while blaming anyone who opposes this imposed reality.

He added, “The enemies direct blame at those who respond to any Israeli aggression or American tyranny, and they use media platforms and outlets to distort and attack anyone who adopts a stance against such oppression and violations.”

He continued, “Despite Zionist attacks over 15 months in Lebanon, blame and criticism were directed at Hezbollah, holding it responsible for the consequences of its responses. Zionist mouthpieces remain silent in the face of the genocide against the Palestinian people, yet criticize any practical effort to confront aggression, as they did with ‘Al-Aqsa Flood,’ which represents a response to decades of Zionist crimes.”

He concluded, “Zionist mouthpieces directed all their criticism toward Hamas and the Al-Qassam Brigades, attempting to prevent any reaction from the الأمة or any correct and practical stance against American-Israeli tyranny. They also work to entrench loyalty to the Jews and hostility toward believers, which necessitates awareness of the importance of mobilizing within the nation to protect it from infiltration.”

He stated that the slogan, the Qur’anic project, and the mobilization of the nation to confront the aggression of its enemies are a correct, productive, and important course of action necessitated by current conditions and realities. He emphasized that the Qur’anic project is not a meaningless or trivial movement, but rather an authentic and principled stance.

He said, “The Qur’anic stance is not imported from elsewhere nor based on subordination to any party. It is an original Islamic position mandated by the principles, teachings, and values of Islam. It comes in response to Allah and is guided by His Book, which has clearly identified our enemies, as confirmed by all Qur’anic evidence and realities.”

He noted that Jews are identified in the Holy Qur’an as the number one enemy and must be confronted due to their intense hostility. He stressed that this is not merely a verbal description, but is reflected in their actions against the nation through conspiracies, schemes, and crimes, as proven by reality.

He added, “The Americans and the Jews came as invaders—aggressors and criminals—targeting us unjustly and aggressively in every form, including extermination, killing, occupation of lands, plundering of wealth, erasing religious identity, and targeting the nation. The Zionist Jews began with the occupation of Palestine and are moving forward with their plan to target the entire region, in addition to their corrupt and destructive ‘soft war.’”

He continued, “The Jews were the first to coin and heavily promote the term ‘acting on behalf of Iran’ as part of deception and misinformation. Through such narratives, they distort genuine positions and attempt to divert Arabs from their Islamic responsibilities. They present Arabs as if they are not concerned with any stance or cause, despite the fact that their occupation of Palestine and other Arab lands occurred within an Arab geographical sphere.”

He also highlighted Israeli crimes, including the killing of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians since the beginning of the occupation, as well as thousands in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt, alongside slogans such as ‘Death to Arabs.’ He pointed out that Zionist targeting of holy sites occurs in Arab lands, including Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as Mecca and Medina, which are also within the scope of Zionist objectives.

He stated that Jews are the ones occupying Arab lands and committing crimes against the Palestinian people, carrying out daily acts in the West Bank such as killings, abductions, torture, violations, house demolitions, forced displacement, and uprooting of olive trees.

He said, “All forms of criminal practices by Jews are directed against Arabs. Yet if Arabs take any stance against these actions, they are portrayed as meddling in something that does not concern them. They even claim that if Jews burn or desecrate the Qur’an, it has nothing to do with Arabs and only concerns Iran.”

He added, “There is an attempt to distort any stance against the enemy. If Arabs take a position against the burning of the Qur’an, destruction of mosques, violations of Al-Aqsa, or the killing of Arabs in Palestine and Lebanon, they are labeled as meddling. They try to portray Arabs as uninvolved, as if what is happening is merely a conflict between Iran and Israel—suggesting that Arabs should stand aside while their people are killed, their lands occupied, and their sanctities violated.”

He continued, “They want the Arab to remain without reaction even if Israelis kill his son or brother or destroy his home. Anyone who speaks out, even with a word, is labeled an agent of Iran. The same narrative is applied to the Palestinian people and resistance movements, branding them as Iranian agents.”

He reaffirmed that Israel is an enemy to Arabs before being an enemy to Iran, adding, “God has defined in the Qur’an what concerns us and our responsibilities. The positions He commands are all honorable and dignified for us.”

He said, “Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has adopted a consistent policy based on an Islamic stance against American tyranny, Israeli aggression, and the Zionist project targeting the nation, particularly Arabs.”

He described the Islamic Revolution’s stance against the Zionist project as honorable and deserving of respect and unity, noting the paradox that the Shah’s regime was once respected in Arab countries because of its alignment with the U.S. and Israel.

He pointed out that some Arab regimes and Gulf states adopted hostility toward Iran and embraced narratives promoted by Jews, labeling any independent stance against the U.S. and Israel as being ‘Iranian agents,’ thereby distorting cooperation among Muslims within the axis of resistance.

He called on the nation and Muslims to unite against American tyranny and Israeli aggression, warning that the Zionist project targets all countries—even those whose governments seek to serve the U.S. and Israel.

He said, “Some regimes cooperate with enemies and strongly oppose anyone who stands against the Zionist project, offering complete allegiance to the U.S., Britain, and Israel across cultural, economic, military, security, and media domains.”

He added that since the “Al-Aqsa Flood,” distinctions have become clearer, with people now able to see who genuinely stands for truth and makes sacrifices, and who supports and serves the enemy.

He warned of the serious consequences for those supporting Israel and the U.S. by hosting military bases, providing financial, political, media, and intelligence support.

He emphasized that the Qur’anic project has remained consistent and principled from the beginning, never retreating in the face of fear, hardship, sacrifices, or temptations.

He recalled that since the launch of the slogan, the U.S. embassy in Sana’a pushed the regime—along with Israeli and British influence—to take hostile positions against the Qur’anic project, leading to arrests, dismissals, propaganda campaigns, and eventually six rounds of brutal war.

He added that the authorities had no legitimate or legal justification for their hostility, while the project maintained steadfastness despite great sacrifices.

He further stated that in 2007, European offers were made proposing political power-sharing in exchange for abandoning the slogan, but these were rejected, as were later offers following the events of September 21.

He noted that some movements claiming to be Islamic or jihadi compromised their principles when they came to power, while asserting that the Qur’anic project has proven effective and successful.

He concluded that the impact of the slogan and awareness it generated has made its followers among the most conscious in the Islamic world, and that the strong reaction from enemies since the beginning reflects its significance.

He added that many Zionist strategies rely on manipulation and division within the nation, including stirring internal conflicts, and warned that normalization with Israel is a gateway to a dangerous soft-war strategy.

He expressed regret that some countries fail to recognize normalization as part of the Zionist plan, noting that Israel initially expanded its influence in Palestine through soft infiltration via economic and investment activities.

He continued: “Zionist companies have begun purchasing real estate in Mecca and Medina, and they have been allowed to do so. Some Gulf countries have also opened the door for Zionist Jews to penetrate various sectors, including technology, communications, and even naturalization.”

He went on to say: “We must recognize the importance of this stage and the round of confrontation within it, as well as the very significant positive value of the principle of unity of arenas. The cooperation of the axis of jihad and resistance serves as a model for the entire nation, highlighting the importance of working together and moving collectively.”

Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that enemies are attempting to distort Iran’s position, which he described as a great and important Islamic stance, adding: “They seek to eliminate Iran in order to complete the occupation of Arab countries, while many Arabs fail to recognize this reality openly declared by the enemies.”

He said: “The fronts currently standing united against the Israeli and American enemy are not supporting Iran; rather, they benefit from Iran’s strong stance against a common enemy that must be confronted. Without Iran’s position, it is the enemy who would attack Yemen, Lebanon, and other countries.”

He added: “The alternative to confrontation is surrender, and the cost of surrender is losing everything—this world and the hereafter, freedom and dignity, homelands and honor, security and stability.” He emphasized that the resentment of those aligned with the Jews toward the unity of arenas reflects the same anger held by the Jews themselves, who are deeply disturbed by nation cooperation , seek to fragment the battle and isolate each front individually.

The leader stressed the importance of all people in the region understanding that the Israeli and American enemy is the core problem facing the nation—not the fronts of the axis of jihad and resistance, nor Iran, nor the Yemeni or Lebanese fronts, nor Hezbollah’s weapons.

He continued: “Stability in the region will not be achieved until the Zionist plan is defeated. This is what the nation must work toward. The current truce is nearing its end; it is fragile, and the likelihood of escalation remains high.”

He added: “Even if the truce holds, further rounds are inevitable, as it is merely a pause in an ongoing conflict with the enemy.” He stressed that confronting soft warfare is extremely important, as it aims to corrupt and mislead the nation alongside direct confrontation, and that positioning for confrontation across all fields is a duty and the correct stance.

He pointed out that in the media field, there must be active confrontation of the Zionist plan, as well as in economic, cultural, educational, political, and other areas.

He continued: “It is important to highlight a point overlooked by many in the nation: the seriousness and determination of Zionist Jews, along with their American and British partners, in implementing their plans and hostile actions. At the same time, attention should be drawn to the role of the Zionist movement in the West and Jewish activity, contrasted with the alarming negligence among Muslims.”

He went on to say: “The Jews place great importance on how to implement their Zionist project—what they call establishing ‘Greater Israel’ and reshaping the Middle East, which in reality means destroying the region, enslaving it, occupying its lands, stripping it of freedom and dignity, and erasing its religious identity.”

He praised the efforts of some researchers, academics, and media professionals in exposing the reality of Zionist and Western plans targeting the Islamic nation.

He said: “I hope those involved in academic, university, and political work will take the lead in uncovering the various plans of the Jews. A state of domestication enables enemies to recruit and infiltrate even at the intelligence and political levels, striking nation from within. The Jewish strategy is based on infiltrating and subjugating nation.”

He affirmed that a sense of responsibility, awareness, mobilization, and revival are what benefit the nation, enabling it to remain strong, resilient, protected from infiltration and subjugation.

He added: “Ultimately, we must—first and foremost—have faith in Allah and His true promise, trusting that He determines the outcomes and final results of the conflict. Responding to Allah reduces costs in time and losses, making sacrifices fruitful and accepted, serving the interests of nation.”

He concluded his speech by saying: “We are confident in the success of the Qur’anic project—a great project worthy of sacrifice and steadfastness—which has proven its effectiveness and success at every stage since its inception to this day.”
